Coming from the UK I was hoping that this game would at least have been released on the site at the same time as going active on Steam (6pm BST). I purchased here on the site and I'm rather suprised that the game is still unavailable here. A 6pm release time would've given me time to download it and play it for an hour or two before logging off my PC. I guess I'll have to leave it until I get a chance to play later in the week.
I think some of you guys are getting all hot under the collar for nothing.
Remember Steam is all about digital distribution; TT aren't. It's not that surprising they'd get it up first, is it?

So yes, we do have a right to get frustrated, that's what forums are for to clearly state what customer thinks so the company could improve their service. I agree with what's been said before me. I would expect people who bought it directly to at least have access at the same time as Steam purchasers. Now the loyal supporters are still waiting. It's something that should never happen.
Next time, give your own customers access first. Either that, or I'll buy through Steam and have them take their cut.

Couldn't agree you more, i was skeptical to buy it from TTG but there was no news of it coming out on Steam so i bought it and supported it from the gecko this isn't right in any means you need to provide steam keys for us now or let us download the game now.

Just because the TT version isnt available to download at the same time as steam doesnt mean they HAVE to do anything, its not perfect, but its whats happening, be glad your getting it today at all lol

not to be critical.. i just dont get why everyone keeps bringing up the 45-1 hour time frame?!? that argument makes no sense. you are basically saying that if you got it off steam you will beat an estimated 2 hour game in half the time because it was purchased off steam? This is the second time i have seen this half-witted response on the forums. Dont act like the mesiah because you have more patience than others. clear and simple... people paid for the game, and if they want to vent. let them, its not a personal attack on you

The majority of the anger is not because of being unable to play it, but because of the principals behind being loyal to the developer and buying it from their own website BEFORE the game was close to being released and probably opening up some likely needed development revenue, and then finding out just a few days before release it appears on Steam AND gets released before those who chose the first option.
I would dearly love to play this tonight, but it is unlikely. I would have been able to if I'd bought from Steam. At the end of the day, I'm not really that bothered about the loss of game time, but I am bothered about the above principal being thrown aside by TTG.

As a gamer i can wait no big deal as a consumer or custermor i really do expect to have my product on time and when doing a direct buy id expect it faster than having to go to a 3rd party to get my product.

I'm also pretty peeved off at this, but in reality guys, raging about it isn't going to change anything. Nor is digging into other forum members for trying to calm a situation down. The best way to show your dissatisfaction towards TTG is to not purchase their games from their website anymore.
