I'd Sacrifice Skyrim for a Fallout game that combined FO3's exploration and FONV's multiple endings and including building up your character including their backstory and also establishing a settlement that builds up over time through subquests and you can recruit people and establish rules for the colony ooh and pick a name!
As much as I enjoyed them, I would sacrifice Portal 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 along with the upcoming Counter-Strike Global Offense for HL3. (It's clear by now that that's what they're going for instead of Ep3. It wouldn't take this long)
I'd sacrifice every game ever for a never ending chain of great Portal games.
Let's see... I'd sacrifice Portal, Half-Life and Fallout for a new System Shock.
Ya know when they were coming up with Bioshock they said "You know System Shock {2?} was fun lets make System Shock {2?} again" and thats how Bioshock came to be

Is Bioshock in space? No, I tells you, no it is not. Therefore IT IS NOT SYSTEM SHOCK. Ketsuron.
(Also it's massively dumbed down and there's no real RPG elements and the levels are much more linear and there's no SHODAN and the weapons are boring and the ghosts make no sense and the moral choice system is bollocks and there's escort quests and the last level just will not end and it's good but nowhere near as good as the original System Shock and why the hell are you still reading this have I not made my point already fine I'll add some more like the fact you can't lean around corners and the hacking isn't as good and there's no real specialization and System Shock was just better all right?)
It may be amazing, but it's also only 3 hours long. I prefer my games to last longer than an evening.
That's what makes it so great, though! Sure, it could carry on and on and on, but then it'd just run itself dry. It stops at the perfect time, right when your at the peak of fun.

But see, it's short and doesn't outlast its welcome. I tend to favor more compact games because then I don't spend the end of it relieved that it's over, but rather anxious to go back to the beginning and play it again.
For instance, when I finished my Baldur's Gate II playthrough I was practically dancing on the ceiling. Two months of playing the same game does that to me.
Woah! Chillax, guys. I'm not saying Portal's a bad game - I wouldn't sacrifice it if I did - it's just that I find the shortness of it is slightly off-putting. That's all. I enjoy games that have a huge amount of depth to them more than a three-hour romp. Also, I play about half a dozen games at the same time, so burnout's not really an issue
OK, I'd sacrifice everything Tim Schafer makes for the rest of his life in exchange for a decent Ultima game.
But see, it's short and doesn't outlast its welcome.
It has the perfect length for a game like that.
Portal 2 is way too long (you could split it right in the middle and make 2 better games out of it just by doing that) and has these horrible hose-like levels with the blue annoyance orb in the first half of the game. Those aren't fun to replay at all.

I haven't actually replayed Portal 2. But then again, I have only replayed Portal once when I was trying to get some achievements that I missed. Honestly, I don't think I'd mind replaying Portal 2 when I get around to it because the game was still only took me 20 hours to beat the first time and I know I missed stuff.
Also, Wheatley didn't annoy me at all... I actually enjoyed having a talkative character following me around since there wasn't much of a soundtrack to listen to. Otherwise, I would have just been talking to myself and annoying my roommates.
I am trying to right now because I want to hear the developer commentary. But there are about as much nodes as in Portal 1 and the game is 3 times longer. So that's a huge problem. Also: I never liked the blue ball of horror. And I didn't like Glados in the first part either. She has like 4 jokes that she reuses over and over. But I got past the crappy first half of in Portal 2 now. The moment you take a long fall with a potato is past. Cue the commentory for Portal 2.2.
I'd sacrifice all games considered good, like the Portal series, Half-Life series, Left 4 Dead series, most Nintendo games, any good other game in existence, hell, perhaps even Minecraft to see...

I'd trade all 3 mass effect games for an create your own marvel mutants {not xmen destiny] and find your place in Marvel Society with multiple endings including Earth Ruler, Earth Savior, Leader of The Xmen, Independant Hero, Mutant trying to live a normal life
I would sacrifice Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes for Spectacular Spider-Man. Spectacular Spider-Man was super-awesome. And then it got canned. And now there's this Marvel's (and by 'Marvel's' I mean made by the new Marvel animation studio) crappy Ultimate Spider-Man show instead of it.
Oh, wait, I can't sacrifice Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes, because it gets canned too, and next year will be replaced by another Marvel's show based on the Avengers (which most likely will be as crappy as USM). ****.

Your talking to the guy who had to look up what that show was.

But Portal 2 isn't a great game.
If you're referring to this awesome show, absolutely YES.
How can so many of you be willing to get rid of Portal?! It is, in my (the right) opinion, the best game ever made.
No, it is.
I don't agree with byou on that. Portal 2 is quite bad. I don't need it. Just put the Editor in Portal 1 and it will be fine.
This is the internet and you made a typo. Therefore, I won this argument. My opinion is now fact.

That just made me smile. You are desperate.
Ahhhhh... Guru did.
Now I can't remember the original!
Anyway, I'd sacrifice all future episodes of doctor who for a single season with the 8th Doctor.

FarmVille 2.
No. A sacrifice must be something hard to give up.
That's almost the exact opposite of their business model.
I'd sacrifice Portal for Journey 2.
Actually, it's getting close to the point where I would trade Young Justice for Megas XLR.
To compare, Here's the first Metal Hero (Space Sheriff Gavan):
This is the sentai from the same year (Dai Sentai Goggle 5):
Gavan looks cooler, for sure. And honestly I haven't Goggle 5, I just know it's theme song sucks.
Here's the final Metal Hero (Robotack:
You'd never guess there was an adorable puppy robot in there
Sentai from the same year (Seijyu Sentai Gingaman)
Oh hey, It's Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
The picture of Robotack is a toy, yes. I couldn't find a good picture of it in the fighting mode
Gingaman looks cooler here.
So In the end, I wouldn't sacrifice Super Sentai for Metal Hero, just for Metal Hero pre-Kabutack.
Oh, wait, I can't sacrifice Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes, because it gets canned too, and next year will be replaced by another Marvel's show based on the Avengers (which most likely will be as crappy as USM). ****.
I'd sacrifice all the Marvel and DC Animated Movies and cartoons for a return to the DC Animated Universe.
