thing is the choices have to be tested to ensure the game is playable all the way through, cos you know someone will chose the odd stuff. like pro larry..

This, it's for the good of the consumer, but sometimes they screw the pooch. Look at SF x Tekken, and it's game freezing glitch, but I'd rather have it preventing people from flooding PSN, and XBL with crap. Find another game to play while you wait like I am. Just beat MP3, and starting InFamous 2 again going to be the bad guy wo turns good.

yeah they should have waited till it was done on pc then ported it to 360 and ps3 later

I agree. They should have done what they always did and release it first for the pc (in this very annoying console-like form) and then later adjust it for the consoles. I'm not surprised that for the first time releasing it at the same time on Steam, PSN and Xbox Store causes problems.

Even though the episode might be ready since some time, they have to wait, until it's cleared on all platforms because they can't release it on just on one of them (the pc). Otherwise the people would flame like crazy in the other stores. "Why do they have it, but we don't? It's so unfair. I won't my money back! I hate TTG and will never buy anything from them again...*whine*"

Anyway ... if those news are correct, it might mean that episode 3 will be released earlier because they had time to work on it. Who knows, maybe they release both episodes at the same time? :O ... or not

Don't get me wrong Isterio. I didn't WANT it to be delayed for 360 people since thats how i'm playing it but if it would have been a smoother process then it would have been better. after all I wouldnt even have known about the game if it hadnt shown up in the new release section of the XBLA

I see. Well, I guess this new way of deploying their game was too new indeed. They probably weren't aware of all possible complications and underestimated the time it would need to overcome them. And they can't just release it for one system. So we have to wait and wait and wait. So much for "the weakest link in the chain" ;)

It is probably easier to just focus on the pc version, realease all episodes and then to port it for the consoles and the MAC. But now they know more about this process and maybe it will be faster for the following episodes. We can only hope.

    Last paragraph says

"Episode 2 will be available "around the end of June"—the only reason there isn't a firm release date is that they're waiting to hear back on the certification process."

It's not unheard of for titles to pass certification and then deploy to XBLA the next day, so I'm not sure you can read too much into that.

All this should be of no consequence for the PC version. Also,

This was just 3 days ago.

So chances are they're either going to hear something this week and if not expect the game to come out early next month hopefully.

No, no, no. The article is from last Friday. So the "last week" the article speaks about was calendar week 23. Most likely, that info is more than two weeks old.

Imagine in 2012, who would have thought that you had to bow down to some stupid company and waste how much time for certification?.

When on PC and the internet the world is free, universe is the limit. You can release games when you want, like 5 in the morning before you even have clothes on.

Consoles are like North korea. PC is the free world is US and EUROPE.

if people arent techsavy, why not learn? do people give up at life? life is to hard, job is to hard.

Isnt life about improving and learning ?. thats what i thought atleast.
