I don't think Carly will play a big role tbh, the same with Doug if you chose to save him. It just seems like it would be counter-productive to allow one of the main characters to be killed off in the first episode.
I've only played once through so i'm not sure what Doug does if you chose to save him, but Carley had a very short time on screen and dissapeared once you arrived at the farm and only returned for the finale.
It's a shame as she's probably the best character.

I'm sure they both will be around at least till ep 4 if not the whole way.
gut feeling, lol
Naw, unless you want fallout from FOX for showing a side boob.
See... That's exactly what I don't get with the media or whoever are against sex in video games.
After what TTG did with episode 2 (truly DISTURBING stuff, although fitting in a world like this and did a wonderful job at that creepy atmosphere). I don't understand how sex would be any more inappropriate to children...
What you don't want to see Lee/Doug slash on fanfiction.net?
Joking
Honestly, I really don't see the problem of including one, If anything the Walking Dead is full of hook-ups, a lot of them you don't expect happening
Like when Carol tries to "marry" Rick and Lori, it made sense but I was seriously like WTF Carol?
If anything for them two to get together makes a lot of sense since people get together to handle the burden of coping with a situation that they're in.
You don't want want to die single do you?
That's very true about the hook-ups. How many of them ended well? Would be pretty crazy if they did add one and then kill that person off though, haha.
Poor Carol, man. Every relationship in the story except for Glen and Maggie (so far) has ended in death. Except for the relatively new one with Rick and Andrea but I've got the feeling something is going to happen to her, sadly. She's one of my favorites too
I hope in a kind of romance but I don't think they will change the episode rating just to give us some "soft sex scene". I don't really think they will change the episode rating ever.
I know this sound illogical but there might be some law issue.
Right now we have a game rated M for intense violence, blood and gore, and strong language. People bought the game acknowledging the game has just these "features". People bought all the episodes, and unless in the user agreement there's a little note that states that "we could change the rating of future episodes, putting more controversial features at will", we won't see any kind of change.
Why?
People might start ranting on "I never bought this game for sexual content! I don't want sexual content! This is a fraud!". Obviously this is totally illogical... but in term of laws, this might happen and TTG would be in trouble.
And if someone (there's a lot out there) wants a refund, this is the best way he might get it.
Think about it. You play all the 5 episodes, in the fifth episode we have a "soft sex scene" that label the game with "explicit sexual content". You ask a refund because "you didn't expect the game to have sexual content, and want your money back", and there you go: You played the walking dead game for free.
...
Or maybe I'm just a paranoid...
Just because there's a romance doesn't mean there needs to be a sex scene, personally to me, due to how short the episodes are, making a sex scene would be a waste of time and effort that could be spent doing something better. In this game I really would prefer the screen blacking out or something.
Carley is ok, but I really like Lilly
If Lee dies or anything, I would rather gave Clem to Lilly, than that redneck or chick who cant put batteries into anything.
Lilly is headstrong, reliable, cold if need be and distrustful towards strangers. Its also pointed out that she can be nice and sweet ( if you are nice to her ofc ), so she is not complete hardass.
Leader, good shooter, great survivor and possibly decent with children as well.
I also like that Ben fella ( not to romance ofc ). Still just a kid, but he seems alright.

In the zombie apocalypse, sex is almost always implied. I don't think that they would go anything short of making out.
I see a lot of trust between Lee and Carley. She makes it clear that she has Lee's back and encourages him to lead the group. I think this is a ray of hope that pretty much ensures Carley buys the farm next episode. Sorry.
I think she is going to commit suicide. Take a look at her reaction when Ben talks about his classmate who took the pills. Her reaction to this episodes cannibalism. Then during next episodes preview, she is seen with the group during the usual arguing, there is an unaccounted for gunshot that sounds like it came from a Glock.
Except the gunshot is in the trailer regardless of whether you saved Doug or Carley.

Then during next episodes preview, she is seen with the group during the usual arguing, there is an unaccounted for gunshot that sounds like it came from a Glock. There are hints of the group splitting up as well but no Carley. She's not with Kenney in the RV and is conspicuously missing from the rail car with Lee and Clem. Hope I'm wrong.
She seems pretty optimistic to me. Its true that she keeps things to herself a lot, but she is sort of looking up to Lee when things gets hot.
Hell she basically saved the whole group in the end of episode 2.
And about that splitting up.. I think that no matter how Lee decides, Carley/Doug is going with him.

Agree with everything here. I feel that it would be bad move for Telltale to kill off Carley/Doug so soon. I just would like character exclusive moments. Everything that one does, the other does the same.
I was loyal to Lilly on the second episode and there seemed to be some possible relationship material there as well. Or am I the only one imagining such things?

I hope so, man.
Now that Larry is gone, Lilly will be all alone and pretty destroyed I bet. Opportunity for Lee and her to create some sort of bond between them.

From a production standpoint it makes sense to have them be a character with less screen time. The rest of the characters are in both play-throughs while Doug and Carly are only halves and time spent on them takes away from time spent fleshing out the rest of the crew.
I am really hoping for something with Carley. I think it can add an interesting dynamic to the whole story of her knowing Lee's past. Plus, it would be keeping in the vein of The Walking Dead's ideals on how romance (or at least some kind of passion) plays a big part in survival and sanity.
I actually would not mind if it was possible with Lilly either. If they are able to build some kind of relationship in the next episode, it could be interesting. It is not likely to happen and probably will not be my first choice, but it would also keep up with the game's focus on choice.

Nope, I think it is viable that Lilly could be a love interest. There has been elements presented throughout both elements to suggest at least some kind of admiration between Lilly and Lee based on certain dialogue, so I would not complain if it turned out to be the case.
I think that if there was a sex scene with Lilly, it would be like the relationship with Shane and Lori. When Lori was alone and scared, Shane gave her comfort, much like Lee is doing if you try to save Larry.
If he's doomed, then it's all the more reason give him character development. We'll feel worse about it when he finally does die.
You're right, but I kind of see how hard that will be while introducing new survivors in episode 3. Besides, I don't think Carley has taken sides with anyone other then Lee.
There is just one problem... If there is a romance between Lee and Carley, what will happen with Lee and Doug? Doug would need more screen time as well, right?
Well, I have 3 different save games. So I don't mind, if Carley and Doug don't have the same screen time.
And I would actually prefer to talk to Carley more, instead of Kenny, Katja and Duck, smart as a puck.

Heterosexual male bonding moment? Or if they continue the route of making Doug the comic relief, maybe Doug falls for someone else, but he's totally clueless and needs Lee to be his Cyrano or something equally wacky.

If there is a sex scene with Carley, this is what I'm thinking.
If I remember correctly while Ben is talking about virus, Carley is looking off into the distance and sees the St. Johns. We never get to see her reaction. I just hope Carley makes it to the final episode. After Clem and Duck, she is my priority. Also, one of my favorite characters!
I like the group composition now at the end of episode 2 and hope they all make it to the final episode.
It does seem strange though that single males and single females could live in close quarters for three months and not develope any feelings for one another. I expected Lilly or Carley to say something at the loss of Mark when the group was walking back to the hotel. Guess no love connection there. In my game, Lee has no chance with Lilly (well, now maybe he does after trying CPR on her father) ever since he called her a bitch or something equally bad back at the pharmacy things have only gotten worse between them. Anyway, Carley still seems the most approachable even at the end of episode 2.
check out the screen shot meme thread for 'proof' on carly and doug romance...
i think after some fighting lee goes to carly who is crying or is alone and sad and she cries in to his shoulder and she says i don't want to be alone tonight and lee can choose between saying stay with me, asks clem if she minds staying with carly or lee just looks says nothing and holds her tighly..

Don't let the christians get ahold of that idea! They've already taken masturnation away!

btw, feel free to check out this playthrough for
saving Doug & siding with Kenny.

Lily or Carley, lol
looks left...looks right...
Sophie's choice
(never seen the show, so still don't know what the heck are the Choices people are all talking about, lol)
Larry: "What do you think about my daughter ?"
Lee: "Shes f*cking hot, man."
Larry: "Then stay the hell outta h.. what ?"
*Starts to chant* Cat fight cat fight cat fight
Hahaha... Ben is probably too young for her. I love me some Lee / Carly too.
Ben is also a minor character who probably won't live to see episode 4. It'd be foolish for TT to give him character development.
If he's doomed, then it's all the more reason give him character development. We'll feel worse about it when he finally does die.

help him
tell him that lees interested in lily
Crush dougs spirit by tearing him down basically saying he's slime beneath lilys feet.
ignore the sub plot.
If there is a sex scene with Carley, this is what I'm thinking.
No, no no. Doug and Lee? It's not sexual. It's just guy love.

para mour achievment unlocked
Haha. We need something like that in this game...
With Clem's mom when they find her.
