Lee finds his wife again, and there's much needed closure on the crime. Afterwords, you can embrace her and rekindle the passion you two once shared.

Then she'll die horrifically- it is Walking dead, after all.

    Calling it.

Since when did this turn into Lee randomly hooking up with someone? I thought we were with Carley here, guys.

I'm assuming you went with Doug then. Brotherly male bonding moment?

Nothing wrong with the idea if the Spartans encouraged it.

Lilly hates me because I'm Kenny's bro. Guess it's time for Lee to embrace the soft, giving arms of Dough- I mean, Doug.

So apparently it seems Lee, Carley and Doug were best buds before the apocalypse. Then one night, they got really drunk and forgot about everything when the apocalypse started. Heh.

Anyways since a new season had been announced, do you guys think that Carley will live to see it? I think not. It would be such a pain for TT to release ports that continue with the decisions that you made in season 1.

I hope that the New Season takes place with a brand new protagonist possibly in a brand new state with even more choices, Choices that shape the character creating a new Governor, a new rick , or an new pseudo utopia

Hm, there might be romance but I don't think Telltale will do sex scenes, they never did something like that, especially in a comic style game.

After browsing the forums, it seems like I not the only one whose considered a possible Lee/Carley relationship.

They seem to get along together better than anyone else in the group, Lee even has some playful banter with her in the end.
A romantic relationship is possible, but there has been too much tension for that too occur. The Kenny-Lilly-Larry-Lee drama and Clementine guardianship make romance a distant thought.

The Walking Dead achievements have had cutesy titles so far like Adventures in Babysitting. There could be a future achievement called Starved for Condoms, achieved after unsuccessfully attempting to initiate sex.

I always wonder why to most people, romance means sex will be involved
Probably because most players are men and most men link sex to romance.

I hate how Carley walked with Ben back to the farm. I was so very jealous. If she goes for another guy she's dead.
Maybe, there can be a polygamous relationship.

It does seem strange though that single males and single females could live in close quarters for three months and not develope any feelings for one another.
Larry’s threat to expose Lee’s identity, Lee’s guardianship of Clementine, the motor inn fortification process, the rescue of Mark from the air base, and possible fights with bandits and walkers may have made romance a low priority for Lee.

However, three months should have been long enough for all of that too occur and have time left over to have romance. Telltale Games probably didn’t want any major events to happen between the events of Episode 1 and Episode 2. Still, they could have made the gap shorter, say one month instead of three.

I expected Lilly or Carley to say something at the loss of Mark when the group was walking back to the hotel. Guess no love connection there.
Lilly was probably still traumatized about Larry’s death. Carley was probably trying to process everything she heard (cannibalism) and saw (Lee fighting Andy).

I hate the fact the LARRY is dead. He was a great Character to have. We needed that guy to yell at LEE, to make us think what were doing is right or wrong. Now we have to Deal with the crazy KENNY who also is a coward and Lilly. I like Lilly but we need strong personalities to keep the game interesting. Now Lee, Lilly and Kenny are the three strongest people in the game.

    doug/lee romance

Exactly! I didn't go for Carley, but I might have chosen otherwise if I had known there was gonna be a make out scene!

Yeah I'm more interested in Lilly than anyone else atm.

I highly doubt it, but the only reason Lilly would want to hook up with Lee is because she needs comfort after her father's death, much like the relationship with Shane and Lori.

oh...yeah...Lilly she might be pissed all the time like her dad and bossy but....she is still a girl, a very brave girl.....but i don't think there will be any romance in the game. :(

It would be nice if Lee and Carly get together, but doing the same thing with him and Doug would just be forced representation, we already know Lee isnt gay, so it would be kind of stupid for telltale to go back on that.

I hope someone will come along for Doug, and this new woman will try and compete with Carly for Lee

I like this idea! But is a brotherly bonding moment between Lee and Doug too much?

It would be nice to see Lee not initiate a romance if Carly was not saved, though. You know, for the interest of "non-linearity". You either get the romance, or you don't - REAL consequences for those of us who didn't save her!

Likewise, though, I would like to see Doug really find his place in this post-apocalyptic world (finding love would be a nice touch for a guy who was described as the "parent's basement" type). Perhaps even a consequence being that another potential love interest joins the group, and Lee has to decide whether to pursue, or to let Doug have an opportunity to be happy.

What would be cruel of TellTale would be to find Lee's wife, and have her pick Doug over Lee (if Doug survived). Cruel, cruel Irony!

I'm pretty sure that Lee and his wife split after she slept with the Senator(correct me if I'm wrong). Hopefully we can get Doug someone, though.

It could have been that she split with Lee because he was put away in jail for life...it could be that she still loves Lee, and that there would be a chance at reconciliation, UNLESS Doug is there to muck it up! That's why it would be IRONIC!

Seriously, though, it's a joke. I don't like the idea that Lee would find his wife. Lee is supposed to find his redemption in taking care of Clementine, not in reconciling with his estranged wife.

Yeah. I doubt that Lee will find his ex-wife. But just to be clear, I want to see SOME kind of romance before season 1 ends.

u know, i wonder, where is the "consenquence" if both sides got the same thing or similar

can't it be, u got romance if choose carly & squat if u choose doug?
Squat for u but doug may find someone else, well ditto for lee too. Just never together.

Some people just end up alone even though surrounded by others.
But not with ur "soul mate" :(

The way that TT might want to do this if you saved Doug is just give him a love interest.

What so the others are just sitting outside their tent while they get it on?

I've had to be in room while friends of mine had sex, and when I stayed at their place for a while I was both going to sleep to the sounds of it and waking up to them too.

Considering how "close" these people would be with each other by the time a romance option would bear fruit... Yeah, I'm sure that's how it'd go down.

Subplot! Having "The Talk" with Clem-Clem. I mean, I've taught her Killing is Okay if they Deserve it and Stealing is okay if you Need It... XD
I also taught her "shit", and got glared by Katjaa. Because, apparently, the kid who watched people be ripped apart by walkers is too Innocent and Sheltered to know swears. XD

Oh man What if Clementine learns shit and when she says in the barn "like shit right lee" then Duck says shit in the next episode. The talk with Clem man that'd be more awkward then the Getting to know Clem speech

    being good is good

I'd say my approach is being good. Clem-Clem's more likely to survive if you're direct and pragmatic.

But yeah, awkward is an understatement for sure.
  • edited July 2012
well, duck was still innocent to the word shit, though clem is "mature" enough, the problem is, it being spread out like a disease, cause she's not mature enough to not say what she learn.
    :)

so its not a matter of who is ready to hear it but who they hang out with to learn or teach others be it intentional or by accident

Clem: "Lee, what were you doing with Carly last night? It sorta reminded me of the sounds my parents would make when they were wrestling."

Lee sentence options: "Uhh, yeah...we were wrestling..."

"You'll find out when your older..."

    "..."

After that, if your bros with Kenny still he gives a "You sly dog!" face.

Ha. Nice! But really, if there was a sex scene in the game, I think everybody else would have to be asleep for it to occur.

Clem: Lee What were you and Carley doing in her tent I heard strange noises.

Press A to say "Well Clem when a man loves a woman. or a woman loves a woman. or a man loves a man. or a woman loves a dog. Wait i'm getting off track the point being they do things together sometimes great things sometimes terrible things. things that involve copious amounts of vaseline rubber and latex. what was i saying again?"

Press B to say "I was helping Carley find her batteries"

    Press X to say ....

Press Y to have Lee start singing "When a Man Loves a Woman"

This would be hilarious. We never had an instance in the Walking Dead to explain "the talk" to children.
