The european ps3 blog was updated a few hours ago with no mention of the walking dead.

This was the same case with the previouse episodes. I'm guessing will get the episode monday or tuesday next week. Im not that mad any more, I'm just let down.

This is has sadly turned me of episodic gaming for good.

You know what bugs me the most? It comes always out when I have something else to do! But when I am bored and free to play:... No. It's funny, isn't it? :D

Oh and btw I have forgiven TTG... Now I'm hating Sony EU...

I guarantee it'll be next friday

jup, i'd also bet on that if i'd have to.

I'm still positive that it would come in Monday or Tuesday...

I wish one side or the other would just be straight and say what the issue is and more importantly PLAN for the future on both sides so it doesn't keep happening time after time, I guess it's a Sony issue with the number of things not in this weeks update (castlevania, CS:GO, Retro city, Spyro).

It's really off putting I love TT games but I won't be buying a season pass ever again as I don't feel it, or I as paying upfront customer was worth anything regardless of where the fault lies

yeah, that's true. now i really blame scee. i also wanted to get spyro today but no, not in the update.
at least the new joe danger came out today.

...because Telltale knows things about PSN updates which Sony doesn't.

Thinking about the whole situation, both Sony and Telltale know the reason for the delay. Its just that Sony most likely can not say due to possible contractual obligations and would also strain the relationship with TellTale for releasing said information. What I assume is that because the cert process is so "guarded", if TellTale reveals why the game hasn't been released, Sony doesn't have to take the brunt of attacks from angry fans since it is seen as them being the last hurdle.

The way Jawad, is responding to people sounds like its not actually Sony's problem and it is in fact Telltale's. But the big problem is that SCEE has not actually released a lot of games either (they still have yet to release Counter Strike GO, Retro City Rampage etc etc). So I don't exactly take Sony's its their fault when they don't tell us why!

Now I'm not defending Sony but Telltale could easily tell us why its been delayed, but they don't either. Its a stupid never ending circle, that will also happen with episode 5 and we will never know why.

I was never blaming Telltale, I know it's Sony's fault. But still, they could send it off for certification earlier? Also alot of people post spoilers on the facebook page or here to ruin it for others on purpose, I know some players don't be some will gladly do it just to ruin it for others.
I am sure they sent it for certification when it was ready. So that means they would have to delay all other platforms just because Sony is a bunch of fu**ers that dont care shit about us europeans.

i do really understand your point, but especially here in this forum i get offended over and over again by so-called pc gamers. even i have a pc, even i play games on it. but i do not judge anyone by playing a game on a console because he likes consoles more. that's my point of view.
Not every pc gamer is like that. I play most games on pc these days as well, but yet dont attack people for prefering consoles.
People who act like that are nothing but trolls.

Wait -- people actually make personally judgments against other people based on what console they play a VIDEO GAME on?

People seriously need to get a grip.

that's just how it happened over and over here in these forums. i did NOT mean to insult or offend anyone here, i just posted my statement.
    no offense, really.
if anyone takes it as an offense, i sincerely apologize.

I am not offended, as I have seen it happen myself. If it is not pc users, then it is ps3 or xbox users who look down upon each other.

Best thing to do is to ignore those trolls.

    Because consoles.

The PC version is released worldwide at the same time, though. Just saying. :p

That's not actually true though, I brought the PC version and it won't let me download episode 4. It says that episode 4 is released for North America.

    yeah, that's unfortunately true.
definitely, ignoring is the only solution but sometimes it's just too much.
all in all i just don't get the whole point of "i'm better than you because i play games on this console instead of that console or pc.".
we're all gamers and we play videogames because we simply love it. period.

PSN update passing the blame big time again somebody was expressing their dissapointment in the lack of walking dead after the last 2 episodes missed the dat ae well:

Posted on 10 October, 2012 at 4:20 pm by Jawad Ashraf

We’re totally aware. It’s well worth letting Telltale know your sentiments as well.

    and again:

"No surprise really about Walking Dead. Thought you’d have learnt by now after all you’ve had 3 episodes to get it right. Guess I’ll just grab a few animals for Tokyo Jungle."

Posted on 10 October, 2012 at 4:34 pm by Jawad Ashraf

Did you tell Telltale this, too?

    And a third time

Posted on 10 October, 2012 at 4:45 pm by Jawad Ashraf

Again, this is all assuming us as a bad guy. No fingers are being pointed but few seem to question Telltale. 2 sides to every coin…unless you’re a trickster!

    And one more

We definitely do care. But never forget, we also do as much as we can to support publishers. if something is missed by them then the blame squarely falls to them, should it not?

We’re looking into a lot of the issues that have been brought up today. Of course, things like game requests e.g. PSOne titles, are a little less priority.

Walking Dead though is coming soon. I may have more to share tomorrow.

On the plus side news tommorrow :)

Yes, that what has happened to me and it winds me up some players don't even have the respect not to ruin it for us, it just shows how childish and selfish they are.

What annoys me the most about these spoilers, is the regular users understand so post in the spoiler forums. It's the new users who post in here.

They, being new to the site would have found the forums via linking through https://www.telltalegames.com/walkingdead/ so have had to navigate here. Which means they completely ignore the forum tree and come straight here, 10 seconds of looking at their options would mean we wouldn't have to put up with this garbage.

Ah, the ever hilarious blame tango. I remember last time TellTale were hinting it was all SCEE's fault. Honestly, I just assume both groups are idiots - by Chapter 4 TellTale MUST know where the problems are and have options to iron them out, since other companies manage to do multiconsole, multinational updates and releases (Including TellTale themselves for the first episode Do they have this problem with the other games they've put out?

Equally, it can't be coincidence that SCEE just happens to be the one putting it out ten days late every bloody time. I really suspect the blame should be shared between the two.

Frankly, the fact TellTale's Customer Service is so terrible is what's making me more grumpy than the delays (and convinced me not to buy more of there products). Things like that Tweet just rubbing salt into the wound (Yeah, ALL of us would like to play, thanks) combined with a wall of silence just don't work well. You don;t have to say what's wrong, just acknowledge there is yet another delay and say you're sorry. I'm not sure anyone at TellTale knows the word, though...maybe you can use my Season Pass money to buy a dictionary, guys?

To be fair PSN EU is not just avoiding the question they basically say " if something is missed by them then the blame squarely falls to them, should it not?"
They did not hide the fact that it is Telltales fault, unless they are straight up bsing you EU ps3 user.

well, let's wait and see what today's news will be. hopefully a release date. maybe it will be available tomorrow. what bugs me most is that i won't be able to play it until sunday night even if it comes out tomorrow...

You are so right. All TellTale does is thank us for our support and patience. Clearly they don't intend on apologize for any delays.
Im sorry that I bought the season pass. And it will probably be the last time I send my money towards ttg.

I've always said that I'm doing business with telltale and not sony / scee.
Its TTG's job to ensure that thier game gets released on time, not scee.

TTG has had enough time to learn how to submit a episode to scee.

Do you guys remember Ocean Marketing?
I fell like they had a better public relations agent than TTG.

It's a shame it's another week but at least we know and that's what most of us have been asking for.

Also, Dishonored and XCom both out this week. That will fill some gaming hours.

They were a little early on PSN this week and Ep 4 was up at 3 p.m. GMT on October 17, which translates into 8 a.m. PST, October 17.;)

Unless the Daylight Saving Times have mucked eveything up for me.
