I'd rather they'd just adapt all they've learned and improve it in the second season.

Well that would be great. I hope we don't have to buy it (Of course we will have to pay for it even if we have the first one--damn

montesinos7, please learn to edit your posts and to multi-quote IMMEDIATELY. You're at 31 posts now, ample time to get elementary posting etiquette under control. Please don't post multiple times in a row again. Thanks.
lol.. I am not whining about her death I am whining about the fact that we don't get real decisions. You guys trying to defend Telltale are pathetic.

Keep your arguments valid and not offensive if you want to convince people. Insulting others certainly isn't the thing to do.
Some of us wish there were more choices, end of story. Maybe it is just wishful thinking, but hopefully they will remake/edit earlier chapters with more impacting decisions. I respect all of your arguments, goodnight.

No, pretty much ALL of us wish there were more choices. There's just some disagreement if it can be done considering time and budget constraints - or the scope of the game in general.
Alright guys this is getting blown out of proportion, we are obviously going to continue to repeat our same arguments and disagree with each other, so let's just agree to disagree.

You can do that. But judging from experience, if you want to end a discussion you started, you have to stop arguing. It's probably not the perfect thing to do, but it is the only way.

So what you are saying is that it's a choose your own adventure where your choices don't really matter? Wow. Like Profanity said before: "Let's not blow this out of proportion. Sure, this kind of game needs scripted events for everyone to move the story along and scar us emotionally, but it would sure be nice to have some kind of influence over anything that happens. One saving grace is letting Ben drop from the belltower or pull him up and that was great, but not nearly enough."

Couldn't put it any better than that

Mainly your choices affect what the other characters know and think of you, rather than the outcome of the actions that are commited.

Expanding the results early-game would be likely to multiply development times.

Maybe it won't change, but the final episode should be more free in that way. If they create wildly different outcomes which should have lasting effects, they won't have to reflect them across anymore episodes. We've already got about 8 different possible combinations of party members from the get-go, with one of them being with you, without you or already dead. So we'll see how that plays out.

Not to mention that the way you've raised Clem could also be a big game changer. Her affection for Lee can vary. And she could be anywhere from a sheltered coward to something more gutsy. I get the impression that she'll have a lot of power placed in her hands once the stories climax is reached, and your previous choices will determine what she does with that power.

That's called a red herring, King...it was to make the next events less predictable.
