They also won studio of the year and best human female performance clemintine and best downloadable game of the year and of cause game of the year also they missed out on best human male performance aka lee still I'm surprised that walking dead would beat games like mass effect assassins creed halo call off duty
Handsome Jack really stood out in Borderlands 2 in a very positive way, even though he didn't get even close to the same screen presence as Lee in Walking Dead. Lee (and all the other voice actors) did a brilliant job in WD, but I think Damien deserved the award just as much. Comedy is always hard to pull off, and he did a fantastic job with the character.
Congratulations Telltale Team! This is more than game of the year for me. This game is among my favorites of all time. Thanks for the incredibly engrossing experience Telltale, you deserve it.
Despite all complaints and that i'd usually play shooter games, i think and wanna tell that this prize is fully deserved...
I just finished the game and it moved me a lot, it was very clever to make a different story than the comics / TVshow scenary, but use the world and highlight what the heart of this story was... the relationships between survivors and what you do and have to do to survive...
A very immersive game, very nice atmosphere, and a well made character playing.
This game is definitly something new, well made and thought for players, and not only a good looking graphics....;)
I'd like also to thanks and congratulate R. Kirkman to have developed such huge concept and a world for creation

The game was good, and congrats to everyone who worked on it, but I think you got the GOTY because there was a lack of other good titles this year. You will have to do way better than this if you want to show up on the list for nominees next year.
You've done really good in story telling and how it got presented (although the end scene lacked a bit of impact considering the music, it was ok, but something was missing to make me go cry like a sissy in the corner). And the voice acting? Hell of a job done here. But it lacked heavily in gameplay, might want to copy the game you often get compared to: Heavy Rain. Same goes for the choice-thing.
I have high expectations for Season 2, considering S1 won several awards, even higher than before. Not a AAA title, but with what you got, you are not far from it.
Maybe a kickstarter event (and a possibilty to raise money through your website for paypal users like myself) might help to increase the overall quality of S2. Project Eternity and the next Broken Sword did good, as well as Star Citizen. I would donate some $$$ for a CE of the game, including OST (HINT! ).

Best adventure I've probably ever played. Blade Runner is up there too, but this was just a magnificent game.
