I wish we had an option to give Kenny SOME hope for a boat.

When we arrive on River Street, each dialogue option (except silence) pisses him off.

At the scene in the road, right after Lilly kills Carley or Doug, and she rats out Lee's past.

Lilly:"Lee killed someone before all of this even started"
Kenny: "I don't care what he did before!"
    Lilly: You KNOW?!
    Lee and Kenny: *bro fist*
Carley in Heaven: "Ah yeah, suck on it Lilly! You kill me and I still got the last laugh from beyond the grave!" :D

Couldn't resist adding my own little twist on this suggestion. :p

Lee: Hey, maybe we'll just find a boat lying around on our way back home? I mean, it worked for when we needed food and found that station wagon?

Funny thing is that is exactly what happens later. :D

I also wish there was an option to say something stupid in response to what Kenny said about the station wagon in episode three.

Kenny: "We can't just cross our fingers and hope for more station wagons."
Lee: "Why not? It worked once before. Maybe we just have to hope really really hard." :p

I wish that we could've talked a little more in the attic about things that've happened in previous episodes. Like the motor inn, the pharmacy, Hershel, Glenn and Carley, stuff like that.

    1. What "pregnant lesbian couple"
    2. Way to be a homophobic asshole.

    Ha!

When they were first introduced at a distance I totally thought they were a gay couple, and I thought "oh, cool!". But shortly after realizing that Christa was actually a woman their likability factor dropped through the floor for me.

It's funny too, I did everything I could to try and prevent those two from coming along to save Clem (including flat out telling them they weren't welcome), but they wouldn't listen. Then Omid kept hinting at how they'd be able to look after Clem, and I kept telling him to find her a good family instead, haha. I just didn't want someone so annoying to be the one to raise my little girl.

Then I topped it off by telling them to cross the sign first. No luck killing them off there either.

Outside of Lilly and Ben, whom I despised for being directly responsible for the deaths of characters I really cared about, they were definitely on the top of my list of least likable characters. Largely due to annoying voice actors, IMO.

Wait, really? The one you were confused about the gender of was... Omid? What the hell is wrong with your eyes.

I can sort of understand thinking Christa was a man, (if you've never seen a non super feminist woman) but Omid is quite clearly a man.

Im down grading Omid. Thats it. She is pregnant out saving the day he sits at the house protected by a child. Did not do anything to save Christa. Lee/Kenny had to do it. Just sat and watched.Omid is a bitch.

Haha. I just have little tolerance for annoying voice actors.

I was actually still nice to them most of the time, which is probably why they insisted on coming along. But I didn't like them as characters and wanted them to go away.

Plus I thought it'd be a lot more fun going after Clem with just Kenny and Ben. What an odd group they'd make.

Im down grading omid. Thats it. He plays the female role in there relationship. If two girls are dating theyre lesbian and if one is pregnant.... The pregnant lesbian couple.....not homophobic. Shes out saving the day he sits at the house with the kids. Omid is a bitch.

So... You are "downgrading" Omid by calling him a woman? You think being a woman is a downgrade? You're not exactly making your case any more appealing.

Insult Omid all you like, but try to come up with insults, not slurs. Bug-eyed, childish, clumsy, obnoxious, annoying... Take your pick. You're doing yourself no favors by associating roughly half of the population as worse than the other through sheer virtue of their gender.

Questioning Omids manhood isnt sexist either.

Questioning Omids manhood isnt sexist either.

It depends on your definition of manhood. Yours implies that men must be out saving the day. That taking care of kids is beneath them (I guess Kenny, Larry, and Lee are women as well since they look after children?)... Scratch that. There was no implication. You flat out said it. Worse, you equate the opposite of those qualities with being a woman, and that it is enough to mean being a woman is an insult. So yes, you are being sexist. Think before you defend yourself next time.

When a boy/man whines cries complains some people might say "Stop being lil girl man up" To my girlfriend and I this means act like what you are not somthing else. Not an attack on women. Adrienne says BlackBox is just sensitive.

Right, because I'm sure a female would want to associate with a misogynistic ass-hat like you. Is she a model too? Does she perchance live in Canada?

No im not. Your need to climb off your moral high horse. If i said christa is a man. Now im downgrading men yea fuckin rite.

It could be. It really depends. The sexism comes from the attitude and beliefs feuling the statement, not the statement itself. You are assigning certain qualities to Omid because he is a man. Men are supposed to be heroic in your mind, but Christa is the one doing all the heroic stuff. Not Omid. Since he fails to meet these arbitrary qualities, you thereby call him a woman. You even admit to saying this was meant to degrade him. This applies to calling any man a woman for not having arbitrary characteristics. That is sexist. Period.

Of course, the opposite can be true as well. If you called Christa a man, it doesn't necessarily mean it is a sexist statement. It might be a simple mistake. However, if you call her a man because she exhibits certain qualities; bluntness, confidence, capability, etc., then yes. That is sexist, even if you meant it as a compliment.

I'm not saying you hate women. I'm not saying you mistreat women. I'm saying you believe being a woman means having certain qualities. Good or bad, they don't matter. The important thing is you deny individual men and women their own agency to be the person they want to be. It is society that says women must be X while men must be Y, not genetics (which is what a person's sex is). That is the textbook definition of sexism.

Let me also say that it doesn't mean you are a cold-blooded sexist. Maybe you were taught these things. Maybe you were never corrected when you express them to others. I don't know. I'm saying that your statement; "I;m calling Omid a woman. I'm downgrading him" is sexist. There is a difference.

Oh, and no, I will not get off my high horse. He poops on the very same ground you're standing.

There it is again. Men aren't supposed to cry, whine or complain. You feel justified in calling them a woman because that is a trait that only women should have. Sex-to-the-ism. Why aren't men allowed to cry? Why are men supposed to be the ones saving the day while women take care of the kids? It's fine if that's what happens, but implying that swapping roles is somehow wrong ("act like what you are") is... You know what? I'm sick of typing it out so much. You know what I'm going to say.

It doesn't have to be a direct attack on one gender or the other in order to be that word. It also doesn't have to be malicious. It is all about assigning qualities to an individual based on a biological characteristic that has no bearing on the quaity in the first place.

Bob says greyduzkrush is being superfluous. Maybe I am sensitive. What does that have to do with what we're discussing?

Nope. They were yours. Christa saves the day, while Omid takes care of kids. He's not being a hero, so he's a woman.

And thus the most idiotic argument ensued!
  • edited March 2013
I think it's already been mentioned here, but it would have been nice to have additional dialogue when talking to the stranger about all your past decisions. Maybe it could go like this: Stranger insults Lee based on major decision, Lee counters with reasoning behind said decision(out of 4 possible choices), Stranger counters that argument with another (probably flawed) argument/insult, then moves on to the next decision.

I also would have liked a little more dialogue between Lee and Kenny at the end of episode 4. Maybe if you explain your reasoning behind the choices that went against him, he could finally understand why you did what you did and join you.

Because I hate kids I always have and my neighbors kids have a lot to do with it and in in a zombie apocalypse they are useless if it wasn't for her Lee would still be alive I don't like Lee either but it just goes to show they get you into trouble. example would be Sophia from TV series. and Clem cried through the whole game "help me find my hat!, My walkie talkie!, i'm scared!, can we find my parents! If there was a real zombie apocalypse no kids in my group.

Lilly: Lee, he was still alive. I know he wasn't dead...
Lee: Bitch, I don't give a fuck. I got blood on my jacket now, that's the REAL tragedy.
