The ones I like the most tend to be the ones where the player gets really into it, to the extent of being emotionally affected by things that are going on in-game. This may be partly because my own soul is so calloused over that I find something cathartic in such displays.
Which is why I actually quite liked Cry's playthrough, the only one I've watched from start to finish. His reaction to the last part of Episode 5 was so over-the-top it kinda tipped over the line from sad to hilarious, but it was still fun to watch.
Cry, OfflimitsPC, and Pewdiepie. I don't understand all the hate on Pewdie though...I think it's his fanbase that makes him so hated. To me it seems like he actually cares for his fans, and I get that his jokes are extremely inappropriate sometimes, but I think that he is trying to stop that. The reason I hate mentioning I like him so much is because people always assume Pewdiepie fans are insane fanboys who rage if anyone plays the same game he does...but yeah, that's just my opinion...
I love Pewdiepie's playthrough! I find him funny and hilarious. At the same time, seeing him cry at the last minute of episode 5.. That is somewhat rare to see..
I was disappointed by what I saw of Ken's. Someone on here said he talks about why he makes each decision, but that did not happen at all. He also completely neglected Clementine. It's not as fun when the LPer doesn't seem too into it.
I'll admit I haven't seen many LP's as I only tend to watch them to see other choices - but I do like PewdiePie. He seems to get really involved without taking it too seriously but at the same time, his actions/emotions seem genuine. Ended up watching his full playthrough of Walking Dead and for the most part his choices weren't that much different to mine. xD
Offlimits was good but sometimes her reactions were a bit extreme. Particularly to the death in ep 3 even in 400 days she cried for a few minutes after a brief glimpse of the body.
She did it in wolf among us too for a character you knew for about 10 minutes
I felt pretty much the same at her 'extreme' situations, but kept it inside. At least she dare to release her feelings and that's what I like about her let's plays. She is the great example what Telltale can do to their players. xD

Just started watching her playthrough of TWAU as a bit of a sampler for TWD, and yeah, she had a bit of a surprisingly strong reaction to seeing Faith's head on the doorstep.
No complaints on my end. I much prefer a strong emotional reaction to indifference. I feast upon their tears and I am sated.

HAHAHAHA. Oh jesus. She nearly deafened me when she saw Snow White's head on the stoop.
Oh wow. I can't even imagine how she's going to cope with...just about the entirety of TWD Episode 5. The wailing and gnashing of teeth shall be glorious.
One rather massive irritation, though: she basically just blasts right through the main plot without bothering to talk to anyone in any depth. She gets four pieces of food to hand out and immediately gives them all out. She arrives at the St. John dairy and immediately talks to Andy to go fix the fence.
It sucks a whole lot of the flavor out of the game if you just relentlessly advance the plot like that, without bothering to look at anything or talk to anyone you don't absolutely have to to proceed.
Well, yeah that's true. She finally realized that she was missing out during episode 4 (the Molly tape). Her 400 days and TWAU-LetsPlays are totally different in that regard. She did improve there. So while this point is an issue in TWD, that shouldn't hold people from watching her new LetsPlays for TWAU and the second season of TWD as this won't be the case in them. Presumably.
Even in TWD S1 she makes up for it by her reactions (at least in my opinion).

Also...jesus, this chick is cold-blooded. I thought by her overreaction to even the smallest of sad events that she'd be doing a Messiah playthrough, never hurting anyone unless she absolutely has to. Instead, it's like exactly the opposite; if anyone displeases her in any way, she kills or abandons them without the slightest hesitation or regret. I can only imagine how fast poor Ben is going hit the concrete in Episode 4.
And I don't think I've ever seen anyone take the option on the train in Episode 3 to point blank tell Clem her parents are dead and she needs to get over it, at least not without intentionally playing an asshole. Seriously, who chooses that?

Well some people wanted to be honest. I didnt say it but honestly I did want to say it in ep 4 Clem was putting the group in danger with her hunt for her dead parents.
Also while I enjoyed her playthroughs it was the mismatched reactions that really confused me. To female deaths she cries and gets hysterical but male deaths she laughs or dosnt care. Kind of odd.
@Clem4ever Most Swedes facepalm when they see his videos. His ridiculous accent he tries to make worse than it already is with the conscious lisping, his planned reactions to get views... In Sweden this guy is one of them typical kids who have stayed in their 14 years of age and do not grow on. Like the Swedish girls you see using too much makeup.
Why is everyone hating PewDiePie? He's an amazing Let's Player! He doesn't do it for the money or anything! My top 3: 1. PewDiePie 2. Cry 3. CinnamonToastKen! So yea..My favourite Let's Player is PewDiePie! (:
@Mr. Masamune:
Why lie to a girl in zombie-apocalypse? Meeting her parents wasn't a realistic option, was it? So getting her off that dream, is not "playing like an asshole". Seriously, who thinks like that?
I can only imagine how fast poor Ben is going hit the concrete in Episode 4.
Yeah, took like half a second to pull him up. Sucks to be so condescending, doesn't it?
To female deaths she cries and gets hysterical but male deaths she laughs or dosnt care. Kind of odd.
Yeah, everyone loves chick-Kenny. And how little she cared about that "dude" Brie ("Eat her, eat her, eat her"). She gets "hysterical" for exactly one female death, and for one male death (if you count ducks bite it's even leaning toward male characters). Kind of not odd. (edit: two females, Katjaa really gets to her, but more because of the suicide aspect, than her being female, still makes it 2:2)
I may sound like a fanboy here. It's just that her playthrough was the one i really enjoyed the most.
On the others I saw: Morfar was quite good. PewDiePie was alright. Really good at the ending. Tobygames was the worst in my opinion.
I dunno. 'Cause she's an eight year old girl?
You can get a kid off the unrealistic idea of finding parents who are probably dead without, … more'Your parents are dead. Get over it.'
If that isn't playing the asshole, it's certainly playing the sociopath.
I'm not attempting to start a giant wave of hate, (though it may be unavoidable) but I genuinely enjoyed Felix's (pewdiepie) playthrough. I won't judge anyone else as each letsplayer has their own style. if you dislike/hate/want to murder pewdiepie then I understand and respect your opinion, however, I found his playthrough thoroughly interesting.
if you dislike/hate/want to murder pewdiepie then I understand and respect your opinion
Eh, no. Don't respect the opinion of wanting to murder someone. Even if he was the worst and most ridiculous letsplayer in the world (which he isn't). He's not hurting someone. So to the people not liking him: Don't murder him, please.
Dislike and hate are ok. Hate seems like too much effort though, but what the heck. Personal views are supposed to be different. So yeah, hate him if you must.
yes that was supposed to be hyperbole. I do not respect the opinion of anyone who intends to murder an innocent person. I've just seen so many posts with such violent hate towards pewdiepie that I thought I would add that in.

This is hilarious ! Shit, I have to watch his whole playthrough now
EDIT : Hm, no. I checked his choices when it came to bad decisions, he's just going for the most WTF choices who amuse him the most, and bases all his interactions with female characters on the possibility of getting laid. And turns out he's not that funny after all.
MrGmview is cool and looks like Santa. I've never seen before so many game over during twd lp. The shooting part from 3rd ep. may be too hard for him. Don't give up, mister. You can handle this.

theradbrad, his reactions at the QTE's are notorious for TWD and TWAU! "Come on Q!"
Nova and SSoHPKC.
Can't forget Chris Smoove.

OfflimitsPC without a doubt. She just started on a TWAU let's play as well.
PewDiePie is disgrace to my country Sweden.
PewDiePie is not only a disgrace to Sweden but also to mankind
@TheMissus Indeed.

I will have watched all TWD LPs soon.

@FreddeN93 Yeah. Here come the downvotes from his steely fanbase

I like it when someone is emotionally invested like that, I'll have to watch her playthrough just for that reason.
Just started watching her playthrough of TWAU as a bit of a sampler for TWD, and yeah, she had a bit of a surprisingly strong reaction to seeing Faith's head on the doorstep.

You should watch her TWD let's play. Some very emotional moments indeed. xD
Hmm, is her channel name offlimits? If so I can't find the shit
It's OfflimitsPC or TheGirlFromAus
http://www.youtube.com/user/OfflimitsPC
She is really great in my opinion. And the only LetsPlayer (that I saw) that saw Lilly reaching for her gun in episode 3.
