Wasn't there an option to say no? Well either way you still get in the truck.
Think so. No/Hiding is kind of a solid way to deny going in the truck, so I stuck with hiding as my assumption. Either way, yeah, Nate somehow manipulates poor Russ to get in the truck.
Also what happens if you kill the blindfolded guy?
Roman goes a bit crazy with security and the painting is finished by the time the story picks up again. Also, not sure if this is due to the dialogue options or the choice, but I noticed Becca was more shouty and aggressive towards Shel.
In the beginning when you first see the bulletin board. Is that Dale from the comics posted up on the missing board? Nice little nod to the comic universe if so.

I thought it looked like Dale too.
Maybe Dale's design was too generic or Telltale actually snuck in a reference
If you say no, Nate begins to drive off just as a ton of walkers begin to come out of the woods and go for Russell. Nate just casually stops the truck, backs it up to Russell, and says "Change your mind yet?" Then the chapter proceeds as normal.
I'm more puzzled about the mysterious masked figure the old man accused Nate of being. Was that really Nate, or someone else?
At first I thought it was somebody else (maybe a reference I did not quite get), but judging by the crazed look Nate gives while suggesting killing the couple...
I agree. After Russell's conversation with Nate about his last bandit group he got caught up in it kind of made sense that he went along with someone who was basically crazier than the group he left. With Nate chasing Wyatt, and Eddie back in day 40 it shows that Nate frequents the same area of the truck stop for the 200+ days he's around. I mean it's a theory, but makes some sense.
Honestly, Nate doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would CARE if people identified him or not. Wearing a mask seems a bit weird for him, since he's batshit insane and really doesn't care that Russell knows he's going to murder two old people. I have no doubt that he WOULD have shot that old lady earlier, but for some reason I just can't see him wearing a mask for it.
Here is one more interception which i found in game: during Vince's story; when zombies start attacking, you can see Shel and her sister getting up starting running away.

So im wondering how this ties into who Clem sees walking in the Herizon if its not one of the 5 people at the end of 400 dayz. It has to be Omid and his baby momma LOL:eek:
I loved that moment. I liked Carley, but couldn't help but cringe at all the people crying so hard about a character who barely had any influence on the story. I mean after saving her, she hides for most of episode 2 (for less double-character writing) and then gets offed in early ep3. People got obsessed despite a large lack of screen-time. I cringed even harder at the people making dumbass theories that she could still be alive.
That moment was like TellTale saying "LOOK! SHE'S DEAD! HERE IS HER NOT BEING REMOTELY ATTRACTIVE ANYMORE! DROP IT ALREADY!"
Why does other people having emotions make you cringe? Also, screen-time isn't necessarily equivalent to emotional connection.
I was struggling to find links between each of the stories. Was anybody else in the same boat? I probably missed quite a lot of details.
Vince sees a fleeing Shel and Becca.
Wyatt and Eddie drive past the prison bus.
Russell finds Doug/Carley and is picked up by Nate, the guy from Wyatt's story.
Bonnie is chased by Shel's group after Dee stole some of their supplies and I think she also crosses the same road that Wyatt and Vince drove on.
Shel's group's watchdogs were the old couple from Russell's story.
There's more I'm sure but they're all connected, (in the great circle of life)
Yeah I noticed Carly's corpse and that the old couple were from Shel's group, but I guess my attention to detail was lacking. Originally I though it was the St John's at the cornfield chasing Bonnie. Maybe I was looking for connections which weren't there.
Actually, that first watchdog that you see Roman feeding isn't the old guy from Russell's story. It's the cop who was driving Vince's prison bus, abandoned it after that prisoner reanimated and walkers swarmed the bus, and got hit by Eddie and Wyatt on Day 41. The old guy wasn't shot in the head (I don't think), and probably wandered off when he reanimated, while his wife stayed in the general area of the truck stop.

I thnk it changes. The first time I played, I think it was the policeman, but the second time I played it, it was the old man.

The old man appears as a watch dog? Really???
In the credits, in the game I've played the second time appears the old man shot in the head. Did you play with a-hole Rusell maybe? I've played with Russell before Chel this time.

The cop with the shotgun at the bus scene is the zombie with the shot shell in his eye that is chasing Bonnie. The other cop is the same cop from Vince's story that Wyatt (or Eddie if Wyatt stayed in the car - shown during the end credits) tried to save, but ends up being Shel's watchdog.
He sure does. I noticed it too, during my first play through, only because Becca stood out like a sore thumb. Vince sees them when he peers out of the bus' window and seeing the zombiess attacking.

Here's what I'm thinkin. With the introduction of Tavia I'm thinking she may be the lead character for season 2. She's kind of short n a bit chunky like one of the shadows walking on the horizon in season 1. Or...I found Shel's story to be the longest of all 5 which might also indicate her as a lead character. Either way, I think you'll see a female protagonist as the main focus next season. There's also the chance that if 2 characters didn't join the "new community" it could possibly be them, depending on who stayed behind to continue on their own. Just a guess though.

I think it will be Bonnie, as she's the only person who can't stay at the camp. And the new community seems to be a happening spot.
I'm going to make an assumption that the bandits that raided Lee's group, was Russel's group.
Russel said his group never grew bigger than 7, and I think there were more than 7 bandits during the attack in episode 3. That would be a neat twist, though.

That was under "Steve's" Rule. :c Game companies just love putting us Steve's down huh? we're either dead, or evil..
anyway. They could of overthrown him, but still followed his banditish ways. There was a few months inbetween the episode. So it's possible. I dunno..

I'm confident he was this masked figure.
That face he made looked very similar to one of the crazy faces you can make in Tales of Monkey Island.
It has been a while since I played it, but was that the Nasty Tweaking Meanie?

I honestly don't think it changes to the old man. I thinklooks cop, in zombie form, looks like the old man

Managed to find it in the pantry in Shel's storyline.
