Alvin and Nick both died on my serious playthough. I really, really want to go back and reverse it but I guess the fun in these games are living with your consequences.
I can bet that Carver met Bonnie as she was out of Tavia's Community for getting water or whatever and knew somehow she was a junkie. He probably offered her some drugs so she would go with him. Probably. Maybe.
"Oh yeah and also, congrats Kenny, you sure got over a dead wife and son quite easily."
I think this part of your post is unfair. People … moregrieve in many different ways. It's been about 2 years since Katjaa and Duck's deaths. Unless you've lost a spouse yourself, you probably don't understand that what you're saying is incredibly unfair. I can personally attest to it being the loneliest, lowest point in my life when my fiance died unexpectedly. I can't imagine how Kenny must feel losing his wife AND his son on top of the entire world ending. It's wrong to judge him for wanting companionship. That woman (I forget her name) saved his life. She probably gives him hope. It's wrong to judge a grieving person for wanting someone to love. It's not like he shacked up with her the next week. It's been well over a year.
Many of you would not like to hear this but, I think Kenny is going to die in early or middle episode 3. I hate to say this but, does anyone else get that vibe?

So the part where Clem's climbing the tower is pretty hilarious. I picked Stop yelling! Luke - You just yelled at me! Clem - Shut up!
And [Look down] Clem - You look like an idiot.
I thought it was an amazing episode, for sure. I bawled like a baby when Kenny showed up, mostly just because Clem got to have at least SOMEONE from the old group. I feel like he's still got some anger issues, but nothing as bad as Season One.
On the other side, about Luke's disappearance...I was getting several hints that maybe Luke wasn't such a good guy or that something was wrong with him? Mainly at the part where you're about to strike down the two lurkers and he says something about it "being fun." Also, Carver warns them about Luke. Maybe it was just me, but...yeah. I'm a little suspicious of Luke now.
I just don't want him to die but, I guess with all these deaths he's gonna be one of them. I just hopes he kind of goes out like lee. Trying to protect Clementine knowing he would die.
Tavia probably only gathers survivors for Carver, so he can turn them into his cultist lambs.
And most of them seem to play along, because Carver in his ruthless, mad ways seems to manage keeping a community running.
Which is similar to the governor...

I like that Bonnie is back in this, she seems to have changed a lot from 400 days but I did kill Dee and was just like "whats done is done" and wasn't sorry at all for anything. I have a feeling trough that she will help Clem against Carver who seems to be inspired by the governor a lot. Governor wanted to get revange for his girl, Carver wants the baby. I find it cool, way better done than the TV series.
Since I have no experience with losing a partner or a child I had to go with the theoretical scenario in my head. And in that, I can't see myself getting over losing my family in the middle of the zombie apocalypse over the span of 2-3 years. It's purely a personal concept of an imaginary situation and that is what I have to judge by.

question to anyone on the thread. i purchased the game for mac, and i know episode 2 was released today, however its still not showing up on my system. what gives?
Kenny should've stayed dead. He got himself into an impossible situation to survive. But i think the game developers thought about drawing a parallel with him and Tyreese. You'd remember that Tyreese survived from a similar situation in both comics and tv show. I'm glad to see him again though.
The gun fight at the end of the episode was idiotic. I couldn't believe Clem just waited there to get eaten when her pistol ran out of ammo despite the fact that she had lots of room to maneuver.
I'm still having a hard time feeling myself connected with this group. Apart from Luke maybe. I don't know. I've played the entire first season in just two days. And it was an intense ride. I think i've lost my affection a little bit because of the waiting times between episodes. I couldn't even recognise Bonnie until i read your comments here. And i felt nothing when Alvin died. I wish i had the patience to wait until the whole season is out but i know i just won't be able to resist.
I just don't want him to die but, I guess with all these deaths he's gonna be one of them. I just hopes he kind of goes out like lee. Trying to protect Clementine knowing he would die.
i reckon he'll die saving clem or sarah it then again the way walter just got offed.
dunno he got punched out by carver in my ep3 preview.
anyone on steam not see their choices screen ?
We have to keep in mind that Luke is still not captured. He could be the savior of the group. Also I feel bad for Walt. He should've lived but, I guess he was the most useless in the zombie apocalypse. It seems as if I'm throwing him under the bridge. I never trusted him anyways and especially when he had that knife with Nick and Clementine out there at the same time.
In a little kids eyes, Larry is the big bad bully and Carley was the kind aunt that brings you presents. Kenny did kill Lilly's dad in front… more of her but she did also witness Larry attempting to kill Lee the kindly guardian that looked after you, don't forget, Clem also knows that anyone that dies comes back so in her view, Kenny put down a body before it reanimated. She witnessed Lilly straight up murder Carley for no reason and she knew how much of a good person Carley is eve a little kid like Clem knows what Lilly did was worse. I'm glad she thinks Lilly is bad because that is exactly what she is.
i wonder if it's just cos telltale haven't got the results yet since the ep was just out when i got it, so they need a certain amount of people to get them, i'll redo the end tomorrow and see.
My thoughts. "A house divided" is okay, nothing more. TTG brought Kenny back for his fans, for me it's like - what the hell he's doing there. I still don't care about cabin group much. Rush everywhere, no time to start relationships. Zombie attacks became boring parts. If 11 years old girl can fight them, they aren't a serious threat. Matt's death didn't cause big troubles. I remember how excited I was with S1 episodes. Lee was cool, action was cool, talking was cool, everything was interesting. Now only "The Wolf Among us" is interesting. Maybe one season of game should be enough.
It was a fairly enjoyable episode, although I have to admit the writing of the final part of the episode felt a little disapointing as it resorted in to couple of somewhat cheap methods of trying to make things more exciting. Those being the way Clem acts after running out of bullets (by now, she should know you dont just stand there waiting for the zombies to grab you - especially when theres plenty of room to run around them) and Carvers convenient plot armor in the Walter scene (he walked directly in to Kenny's line of sight, but somehow Kenny just temporarily lost the ability to shoot because reasons).
It wouldnt take much for something to be better than TV show. Hell, I could I even do a puppet show of the walking and it would be way better than the show.( I am talking about season 2/3, season 1/4 aint bad)

I knew what they were, they were flashlights, it was dead obvious. And the moment she mentioned "lights", everyone else should have perked u… morep and discussed what to do if Carver showed up.
Also, why didn't Sarah tell Clementine anything about Carver?
It's okay, I can tell who he is. He's Negan all over again. Apparently Telltale decided it'd be great to rip off Kirkman's dumber ideas.
I do think that it was rushed and there was no time to bond, but I think that in an apocalypse it doesn't matter if a 11 year old girl can kill them. Hear me out on this one. In an apocalypse, it's not the zombies that cause trouble; it's the people. With supplies low and many humans dead/undead, , people turn vicious and self-centered. This is shown when carver's group just annihilates the horde of zombies, but now the group are in major trouble. Also, I think that with the two episode samples we got, we have definitely seen changes. With Lee, you had to worry about Clementine and take care of her, and now that you play as her, you know that she'll be fine. Season 2 doesn't have the spark that Season 1 had, because it's all about Clementine maturing. It is boring to some, and interesting to others.

Clementine shouldn't be game protagonist. Youngest in group has to do things, Lee did before, and that's not believable. I mean, looking through binoculars, fighting zombies with Luke (why not Alvin or Carlos), climbing the ladder (it wasn't issue in 3rd ep), or turning off wind turbine. I know people are real threat but last zombie attack was for... more zombie killing only?

Don't worry, I just did another playthrough and sat at Lukes table this time. Basically exactly the same conversation but you get a little sad look from Kenny instead. Man both times I felt like a bastard.
YES! I don't smoke, but I had to take a long break to make that choice. Thankfully it doesn't seem as though Luke will remember that. I'm really starting to like Luke and the way he treats us as valuable to the group.
Or when you say 'Christa said you were dead' and he looks at camera again with a ...well I was in trouble and...everything went kinda black for a while...I like the nod to the community they put in there.
bonnie looked a bit unsure the moment carver took hostages and i think she was shocked when he tortured carlos. i don't remember seeing her reaction to walter getting it. (only walter and jeffery died in my first run)
I felt betrayed myself. I didn't think Bonnie would turn out to be with Carver.
Granted the next episode teaser trailer shows Bonnie and … moreClementine smiling with each other, this seems to hint that Bonnie isn't happy with she she does. Though on the other hand Clementine could be playing along just to be sure that Bonnie doesn't turn on her.
If you don't tell Walter that Nick is a good man after he finds out about Nick shooting Matthew. During the walker attack Nick gets overrun by a walker and calls for help. Walter has a shot and either kills the walker or just leaves Nick to die.

Exactly. Plus, he accidentally calls Clementine 'Duck' at one point and then makes a really sorrowful face.

Its pretty clear now that Tavia's community is actually run by Carver...
I thought Kenny was gonna die THIS episode.
Best part was when he was talking something about jumping off buildings and Clem was like - thats stupid..
I thought it was an amazing episode, for sure. I bawled like a baby when Kenny showed up, mostly just because Clem got to have at least SOMEONE from the old group. I feel like he's still got some anger issues, but nothing as bad as Season One.

Judging by what he says in the preview, he kills anyone who is not thinking the same as him.

Didn't mean it so seriously, calm down.

Could Nick die in this episode. If he can tell me how and when he died.

Negan was a great villain. I don't know why you're calling that just another ones of "Kirkman's dumber ideas."

One of my favourite images from the episode

Yup, I did this too
Yeah, it was really sweet. I figured Rebecca was just hormonal and stressed out in Ep1. Nice to see her be softer.
Yea but probably a more human Carver before he went crazy
Also, question for the people who called Rebecca out in All That Remains: How were the conversations between you and her?
Or when you say 'Christa said you were dead' and he looks at camera again with a ...well I was in trouble and...everything went kinda black for a while...I like the nod to the community they put in there.
I think that everyone that went with Tavia at 400 days is with Carver. They will go against him in the next episode, tho.
Who stayed at the camp is against Carver already, I think. Maybe who didn't went with Tavia is coming back with Nick in a badass scene.
imho
bonnie looked a bit unsure the moment carver took hostages and i think she was shocked when he tortured carlos. i don't remember seeing her reaction to walter getting it. (only walter and jeffery died in my first run)
Finger off the bloody trigger Nick. Every time...
same for me twdfan86
i did have a crash just after bridge crossing then took about 5 mins to load back in.
