Anyone Else Noticed This?
I dunno,i just wanted to point it out...The characters' personalities have been altered.
I mean,
REALLY ALTERED.
For example,Rebecca.She used to be a bag-of-shit Clem hater,at least that's hoe almost everyone on the forum saw her.And now,in this episode,she made up for it.
And Alvin,i thought he was just a big push-over,always listening to his wife,but turns out he's not really that innocent,and maybe even dangerous(or maybe it was just an overreaction):
Rebecca:If he finds out it's not his(the baby),he's gonna kill me...
And Carlos.He's been a little nicer to my Clem in this episode.And Sarah.I think she can actually be serious for a minute,like a true survivor.
The only ones that haven't really been changed that much are Luke and Pete(CAPTAIN OBVIOUS).
And i also think Nick was changed from an irresponsible,trigger-finger,hot-headed stupid guy to an adorable,screw-up,that i POSITIVELY LOVE.
I dunno what to think of it.I guess it's good...Perhaps they're showing the different sides their characters have.
I just wanted to know what you guys think of it.

sarah has mental problems if u havent figured out already. nick was and still is an irresponsible stupid guy who almost killed clem and killed matthew for no reason at all.
As I've been saying, some conflict from within he group, if done well, is not unwelcome. We have Ken now, so that area seems to be covered.

They haven't changed in my opinion. They've just calmed down after the initial shock from Clem's arrival, and they did/do have a threat hanging over their heads, so that didn't help much either. By the way, I'm glad to see a fellow Nick fan around here!

I completely agree with everything you say, except for the Nick part.
I've kept him alive and had his back for the entire season so far, but if he screws up ONE more time, I'm not going to take the blame anymore. He might have saved my life back in the little shed, but I am seriously pissed off at his many screw-ups. I honestly don't think he's a bad guy, and he's got a good personality, always trying to protect his friends and family, but every time he does anything it always ends up worse than it was before!
So Nick, last warning, don't screw up again.
Also, about what Rebecca said about Alvin trying to kill her, I think she meant this figuratively speaking, as ''wanting to kill someone'' is more of a phrase saying you are going to be EXTREMELY angry at someone, rather than actually wanting to kill someone. So don't worry!
And, like you said, Carlos and Sarah have turned into much better characters, as I genuinely felt horrible when Carlos' fingers were snapped and Sarah had to watch while crying with such a heart-breaking tone.
Nick and Carlos both grew on me in this episode. I just can't be mad at Nick, guy has suffered through too much. People should give him a break. And Carlos showed that he is actually quite capable and a good man.
Sarah doesn't have mental problems. She get anxiety attacks and freezes up, and as a result has been sheltered by Carlos.
Well, it's reasonable to think you won't know everything about someone after knowing them for a few days. After a week, they might seem much different. At first they were scared Clementine might have been with Carver, so some of them were on edge and hostile towards Clementine. After they start trusting Clementine, they warm up to her.
Alvin might be a very bad man. First, he's willing to betray his group for his wife. That's not really necessarily bad, but he's willing to do it(he wants to give all of the food Clementine finds to Rebecca without any say from the group). Rebecca seems to be very worried about Alvin's possible reaction to finding out her baby isn't his. Carver talks about how Alvin killed his friend named George in cold blood. Of course none of this means for sure that Alvin is a bad person, he was just looking out for his wife, Rebecca might have been overreacting and they might have had to kill George in order to escape from Carver's group. So idk. d:
Nick is still Nick in my opinion. He isn't trying to do what's wrong, he's just a screw up like Ben.
Carlos seems like he might be overprotective of Sarah, but she does seem to have a breathing problem or something. He's less hostile towards Clementine now that he trusts her.
Luke's still Luke.
Pete's dead, but he was still Pete. ;-;

I know...I actually thought Pete will be Clem's guardian...Not in the way Lee was,but,you know...He was so nice...
And the way you said it..."We can't have nice things"...It's like we're little kids,TTG,our parents,and they don't wanna buy us some toys XD
Still... if they do like in season 1... Nick will die no matter what... as will Alvin... still, I hope who we save will matter more this season.
Well Molly didn't die. She's very nice, the most capable of the group in combat by far and she gives BLOWJOBS.
I'm kidding about the last part, though....ahem....dat video tape....
I'm hoping she comes back at some point in season 2. She's easily one of my favorite characters if not my favorite.
Hopefully having a death that they can survive won't just mean they die later on. Maybe TTG could be more creative and just have those characters go missing like Lilly or Kenny in S1?
I think that Alvin killed George in self-defense, but Carver was skewing the truth for his own purposes.

I think Alvin killed George to escape, but Carver sees it as "you didn't like me so you were willing to kill your friend t get away from me". xD

Again, she doesn't have mental problems. Carlos didn't say she wasn't normal, he said "She's not like you." as in hardened as Clementine and used to the world they live in as she's been sheltered. She hasn't been given time to grow up either, Sarah would have been 12-13 when it all started and now she's 15. Being sheltered doesn't help at all, but it doesn't mean she has mental problems.
Think the characters are really good and authentic. In reality people are both good and bad at the same time. It's not as in the movies.

Rebecca isn't worried that the baby might not be Alvin's. She's worried that the baby might not be Carver's. If Carver's been tracking the group down this far to get back what he thinks is his child and it turns out not to be, he will kill Rebecca. And the baby.

In the forums yup, and they're wrong. She just gets panic attacks and doesn't know how to survive by herself. Doesn't mean she has mental problems. Besides, being Autistic isn't a mental problem... if you're on the low end e.g. down syndrome then yeah, but even if she was she's high functioning at least which means she doesn't have any problems, just thinks differently e.g. more logical etc.
