Anyone Else Noticed This?

  • Well, first of all, I was not calling you a moron. I was talking about the troll who shares my opinion of Nick and said that he still is an irresponsible stupid guy. If I had meant to insult you, why would I say "agree with that moron" when I clearly don't agree with your assessment of Nick? A little reading comprehension goes a long way.

Secondly, no, I wouldn't have pulled the trigger. There's no way Nick didn't hear Luke flat out telling him "No, don't shoot". Additionally, he was a moron for thinking that Luke was giving him the okay to shoot because he was waving his arms. Why the hell would he be doing that if Matthew was holding them up? And like someone else pointed out, Nick drew first. Matthew drew in response. And on top of that, like Luke said, he could have killed either him or Clementine. You can like Nick if you wish, I have no problem whatsoever with that. But it's gonna take more than an apology with a slight air of defensiveness that he doesn't deserve to use (when he told Walter "I didn't do anything") to redeem him to me.

  • I agree with you completely: they've calmed down. I´m not yet in that place where I actually trust them (or really like them, for that matter), but there are three more episodes to come. So, who knows?

They haven't changed in my opinion. They've just calmed down after the initial shock from Clem's arrival, and they did/do have a threat hang

  • Yup, she says Alvin. It would also explain why she hushes up as soon as he comes back. I think while Alvin is generally a nice person, he may have a very fearsome temper (the kind where people may get seriously hurt if they're the target).

I know the subtitles said "if he finds out he'll kill me" but I'm prett sure she said "if Alvin finds out he'll kill me" (that's what I heard, anyway).

  • I still think Nick is a hot headed trigger happy screwup but other than that, excellent point.

  • Frankly, I think what happened with Matthew could've been avoided if Luke trusted Nick more. The whole reason Nick fired was because he didn't know what was going on. Had he actually been there from the get go he would've known the guy was just monitoring the bridge. What seemed to set him off originally was when Matthew moved his gun from a neutral position (holding it turned to the side) to aim at him (Nick naturally assumed he was going to shoot Luke/Clem in the back though).

@Azlyn actually Nick was still in the wrong as Matthews gun was not drawn on Clem and Luke it was pointed to the side the whole time until Nick came gun ready. I don't hate him but that was really impulsive move on his part. Click here

  • Thank you.I'm glad to see another Nick fan here.Nick is a good guy, seriously, and that's why i love him.

I'm gonna defend Nick on his actions. When he almost shot Clem, it was out of fear. He thought she was reanimating from the bite on her arm.

  • Again,from a distance,it might seem different.

  • No I agree, even if she does have a mild form of autism it is just that, extremely mild. But those freeze moments, and and panic attacks can definitely lead to tragic and potentially deadly problems.
