  • I didn't "attack" you, but it's cool. I'm not bothered by this at all. I'd actually prefer to let bygones be bygones. I don't like creating animosity between myself and people on the forums. It was a misunderstanding. No need to continue the negativity. It's really not a big deal. It's an internet forum, nothing to get angry at each other over. So, all's well on this end. I sincerely apologize if you perceived what I said as an "attack", it was not meant to be so.

And she thinks IM the one who needs to chill when she was the first one to attack with nothing but unrealistic facts and a mere thought, But lets just leave it here Im not really pumped up to contiue this meaningless argument with her.

Less Puzzles, that's true. Hub areas? I don't remember hub areas in season one offered much more than here. I am of course referring to episode 2 of season 2 which had some hub areas. Future episodes will get worse? Hard to judge them already since we didn't play them yet. On a story side the season 2 is already as good as season 1, since in episode 2 the plot got its direction just like in season 1. Which season's story you find better? It is a matter of personal taste.

  • I agree. I hope you're right about the stealth stuff. That would be really cool. It doesn't have to be too crazy, like Assassin's Creed or anything. lol. Sneaking around, avoiding detection would be fun. It would add to the suspense. There was a little of that in S1E1, when Lee and Carley had to go to the motel to get Glenn. Also, when Clem was sneaking around the cabin in S2E1. Hopefully, they expand on that because if there was a zombie apocalypse people would have to be pretty stealthy to avoid zombies and bad people.

  • Ep2 Was really cool.
But i dont liked Ep2 from twau

  • I'm not sure if all these technically qualify as hubs, but here's what I can remember from Season 1.

S1E1 had the drug store for a hub area.

S1E2 had the St. John's farm.

S1E3 had the train areas and the motel.

S1E4 had the mansion I believe.

S1E5 had the mansion and I think that's it. Most of S1E5 was spent on the move, looking for Clem.

  • Negativity ? I did nothing but support my opinion with Facts and answered your critic, If you took it personal AFTER you started tha argument then you should have thought about it but Im not the type to hate people forever just cause we had an " Argument" so that's fine by me.

  • No I don't, moreover from narrative perspective S02EP2 is my favorite episode so far. There ain't so much walking around and picking/matching things, true, but the dialogues seem more diverse and Clem's responses carry more weight in terms of reaction. Also, as someone said above, TWD was never a classic adventure game where you spent lots of time figuring out how to progress with the game - it was more like an interactive movie; the adventure elements were very limited and rendered in a trial-and-error fashion.

  • The lack of hubs, downtime to talk to characters and see them fleshed out, puzzles, and exploration really upset me. There were a lot of holes that Slicer aptly pointed out, as well.

  • Why wasn't the door already locked?
Because they were in a hurry after Clem told them about the attack and Carver was there mere minutes later. Trivial but easy mistake to make.

How did zombies surround them on the bridge if they cleared off the two on one side and Matthew was on the other side?
Zombies appearing out of nowhere is just part of the convention - happened in S01, happens in the TV series, happens in the comic. That said, they were in wilderness - there are bushes, trees, rocks etc., plus the bridge was full of some garbage (read: lots of places to hide). Matthew was probably in the cabin and came out once he heard the noises.

Why in God's name did they stop worrying about Carver when they got to the lodge
They didn't and they were actually talking about it during the dinner. Moreover the lodge was guarded, it was the walkers attack that got them all distracted.

Use key on keyhole? That was actually a puzzle?
    Agreed.

Oh and there was still a gun in Carver's holster when he was holding it to Alvin's head.
Happens in many games (all the time in Mass Effect). Who cares?

You'd think that after two years they'd have a system for this stuff involving "club walkers in the head whether you think they're already headshot or not
There's a thing called routine and it killed many ppl.

  • My only problem is that the choices could be better.

  • They were both really bad. Telltale has gone to shit lately

    LOL!

  • Did you just create this account to hate on Season 2?

  • It's the truth, look at the ratings of A house divived and All that remains and compare them to s1e1 and s1e2. It's getting worse

This is reminding me more and more of the Mass Effect trilogy, the original writers had a better ending in mind but were fired and then we got the horseshit of an ending at the end of ME3.

I can only hope TWD doesnt follow that route.

  • It looks like they already did.

Am I the only one that thinks that ME3s ending wasn't COMPLETE Bullshit?( I got the trilogy after the extended cut DLC so that's most likely why XD)

    God... that ending.

  • Apparently they weren't fired but because they left TTG , episodes are getting worse

Sean and Jake didn't get fired. They left Telltale on good terms in order to create their own game studio, Campo Santo.

    Why did they get fired?

  • Oh, I thought they left to JOIN another company...

But they were making their OWN company. Good luck to them.
