Finally had the time to play this game and I loved it!
I like it at least as much as the first episode, if not more.. as someone else mentioned in this thread, this episode seems better paced.
I also loved the 'special' events, such as the map screen with the narrator and the board game at the end, with the battle scenes
My only complaints are that it is too easy and also, that math game was not very good at all. The ending was a little anticlimatic as well.
I found it interesting that the final puzzle was half adventure game logic and half actually doing stuff. Usually in adventure games, thinking of the solution is the whole solution, but this blended some other-genre skill into it. It wasn't difficult enough to make it an awkward genre shift, though.
By the way, Math Kickers is way better than Snake Boxer, I don't know what you people are talking about. Math Kickers is actually kind of fun.
My opinion is that Nintendo of Europe is effin' slow. It's only until today that the game came out in Europe.
But, I have to say, so far it's been pretty good. There were some good chuckles and lulz, of course some / a few / a bit / quite a lot / many / most still relying on in-jokes, but even without getting the in-jokes they're funny.
For a monthly episode, the length and difficulty were ok, (I had one puzzle stump me for a bit, and I cant ask for much more than that).
The humor was ok, the beginning was hilarious, but then it kinda fell flat for a bit, and finally went back to being funny near the end again.
The replay value was also excellent on this one as well. Lots of hidden easter eggs, not to mention the cool awesomeness tasks.
I also found math kickers to be easy (but still fun). Once you notice a few patterns in how the game operates, it becomes incredibly easy. Also, (in my opinion) the cheat codes are a waste of time, you get get a higher score faster if you don't use them. I only wish there was a way to skip that annoying intro!
Anyways, if they can keep up this increasing difficulty arc, make the rest of the stories as (if not more) enjoyable, and humorous... Then we should have an awesome season ahead of us.
I thought the episode was great! I especially liked the diversity of the different countries that the characters have. My two favorite ones are Country (that taranchula thing was awesome) and the Homsar Reservation (the wacky revelations combined with Homsar's kenetic powers leave a nice touch. and Teen Girl Squad was there, also). Maps and Minions was O.K., but seemed too simple. Besides that, it was great.
Btw, has anyone noticed when you see Peacey P's album "Downright Homey" (or whatever), it says "with the Traitorous Coach Z".
Did Homestar make the cover to the album? Creepy.
If you listend when Homestar was talking about the siege, he'll mention that that was (incedentily) his new rap name.
All in all, I found the episode full of hilarity and mirth and absolutely brimming with the silly stuff that keeps Homestar Runner cartoons among my favorites. The various things to increase your awesomeness made me laugh and how they worked in Teen Girl Squad was unexpected and brilliant in my opinion. I also fell down laughing during the ending song. Great job there.
Comparing it with eps. 1, I found it to be a lot more entertaining, although, I gotta admit; I thought that some of the extras were excrusiatingly difficult and totally not worth it. Still, it was the funniest thing I've seen yet on Wiiware (well worth the high price), and didn't feel at all like a Wiiware game; it felt like a console game. Maps and Minions put the Race to the End of the Race story minigame to shame (M&M:Funniest. Minigame. Ever.), and Cave Girl Squad was not quite as funny as it's preceeder, but had a much-apriciated challenge to it. All in all, I think H*R's never had a better game, and I can't wait 'till the rest is done. Wait, I can, I need to clean out my memory to make way! 9.5/10

Anyways, well-done. More please!
