Yeah, the solution is: it's an oversight. Though not an important one, you can just explain it by Clementine giving it back to him before they arrived at the gate.
Holy shit, you timed that Wellington bullet graze perfectly. Also, Clementine got real lucky in that flashback; considering. One inch to the right and she'd been dead.
Most users have possibly heard about the different marks that Clem can acquire as a result of each ending of Season Two. Here is a thorough … morepost describing what happened and how Clementine reacts to each mark in the present day!
Jane Outcome - Tattoo
After living for some weeks in the building of Howe's Hardware, Jane finds tattooing equipment, and Clementine agrees to have the initials of Alvin Junior inked on her right hand. When the girl observes this mark in "Ties That Bind - Part One," she reminisces about when Alvin was still a baby, and reflects on Jane's suicide.
Alone Outcome - Finger
Surviving by herself and having a toddler under her care was not easy for Clem. She opted to leave Alvin inside an abandoned car momentarily to hunt rabbits, which is what then led her to crushing her left right finger with a car door; she presumably amputated the finger after it became immobilized. It can be assumed Clementine… [view original content]
The guy who was driving with Javier in episode one was part of the New Frontier, right? If so, if Clementine hadn't chopped down the tree, Javier would have had an express ride to David and Mariana would likely still be alive.
Unfortunately yes, that is true. Honest to God though, none of them were my fault, one was caused by a guy pulling out of a parking lot right in front of me and another was caused by a woman running a yield sign when I had the right of way.
You know what makes this even worse? He would have had a clear view of just about everyone from that angle. He deliberately decided to go for Mari.

Another aspect that prompted Jane's decision to offer Clem a tattoo must have been that she knew the girl cared deeply for Alvin Junior, but, as you know, that doesn't mean she does more than if she had gone with Kenny.

Jane suicided over a positive pregnancy test, but whom to which is the baby daddy? We can conclude it's been a year or two since Luke died since Clem and Jane have changed quite a bit.
Also, Clementine repeats the line "Same thing that happens to everyone" to Javier that she can also say to Luke in Season 2
Is the first episodes' name "Ties That Bind" a reference to Resident Evil 4? While playing that game, I just got a trophy saying "The Ties That Bind" right after I finished the penultimate boss fight.
The two years hadn't passed yet and Clem was still 11 in the Jane flashback/memory. You can tell by looking at AJ in the scene he was still little, not a toddler yet.

I thought someone would have mentioned this already but the music that plays in the bar in Prescott is the same music that plays in the Trip… more Trap bar from The Wolf Among Us. (My theorising about the two series thus existing in the same universe is a story for another day).

Jane's flashback takes place not long after season 2, given that the family from the ending stole from them recently and they would not have gone far away or stayed away for long. Also AJ is still a baby. He's a toddler in the other flashbacks.
Although, Carver's office is boarded up, so that would suggest time enough to make those securities did pass.

Exactly, she probably just knows how because she was a rebellious kid. If she worked in as a tattoo artist I'd expect her to be at least somewhat tatted up.
Depending on which ending you get from Season 2, Clementine will receive a different scar/mark before meeting up with Ava, New Frontier, Pre… morescott and then Javier.
* Wellington - A scar on the left cheek from dodging bullets escaping Wellington.
* Kenny - A scar on the forehead from getting in a car wreck.
* Jane - A tattoo Jane did of AJ's name on the right hand.
* Alone - Left ring finger broken by car door and later cut off from trying to save AJ. (The one we've all seen from first teaser trailer)

I don't think any animations change in any way between ending choices. Wouldn't make sense either, Jane shows her that trick regardless, and Clem used it before meeting her too.
Twice (maybe more) in the episodes, Clementine uses the jane-technique of killing walkers - kicking their knee first before dealing with them.
I'm wondering, does this only happen if you choose the Jane ending or does she always use it?
I know it wouldnt technically make sense, just wondered if they included it as a throwback to her and would do something different for Kenny fans, but my expectations were probably too high :P

I recall once she did it in my game, back when Javier first meets her and they are walking back to the junkyard, and I chose to go with Kenny. So I say she always uses it.

I can see badger trying to usurp David

You have been in too many car accidents.
Holy shit, you timed that Wellington bullet graze perfectly. Also, Clementine got real lucky in that flashback; considering. One inch to the right and she'd been dead.
Any of yours included walkers?
Who didn't notice that? Lol.
I told you what her line of thought might have been, not justifying what she did. Now, out with what you were implying!
All of them included pedestrians, for what it's worth.

No, but the woman that caused one accident was old enough that she probably needed a walker.
Why couldn't he go for Clem?
I'm just kidding, really! I—I'm serious!
Yes also I heard his names Rufus
Their injuries are slightly similar.

To be fair, Kenny already picked the first name.
That's just part of her character, so I'm not bothered!
Besides, Alvin Junior is the cutest peanut ever.
It's alright. I had forgotten as well.
Holy fuck.
Mind blown.
Jane killed him, remember?

This asshole NEEDS to die!!!
Instead drops a tree on his car xD

That place reminded me of the bar in tftb episode 1.
I don't think a 1-2 year old is considered a toddler though?

I love the tattoo so much.
Can we call Negan? I think David needs to borrow Lucille...
And if Clementine had chopped down the tree earlier so that it just stopped, they could have driven the truck back to the junkyard and saved her.
So basically CLEMENTINE KILLED MARIANA CONFIRMED
A 2 year old wouldn't be exactly the same size as a newborn, as AJ is in the flashback

A toddler is between 12 and 36 months old.

I didn't notice Clem getting her eye beaten to shit in my PT anyway. xD
But Troy can hit Clem with his gun if you try to help Kenny when Carver is beating Kenny up with a radio.
I had the stick with Kenny ending and she was still doing the Jane trick.
