At the end of episode 2 if you accept Conrad's plan then Max will only ask you to drop your guns. He won't ask you to get on your knees.

  • Hell yeah. With bullets to the heads.

  • Do you have a quote for that exactly, or the dialogue path to get it? I've seen that scene quite a few times and the closest I ever got to match what you say is the "I don't want to hurt anyone" line, which isn't exactly saying that it's her greatest fear.

  • In case y'all forgot, in S2 E2 when Carver barges in and asks you who else is in the cabin, Clem can say "Just me and my dad, ED." That's her dad''s actual name.

Sorry if you already knew this please don't kill me.
  • I don't completely rely on the wiki but it seems pretty plausible, though I know what you mean.

I think they're referring to Clementine saying "I don't want to hurt anyone" in the dream with Lee. Especially since when Lee says "What can I tell you to make it better?" if you pick "That I won't have to hurt anyone" Lee doesn't answer.

I think is a very interesting detail that Javier voice actor IS HOT AS HELL And he participated in a movie called "Merry Christmas... I Got You Herpes "...

  • Yeah, I got the first one cause I covered for her.

Hope this isn't a repeat! The decision to accept Conrad's deal can cause Clem to react in different ways. In most playthroughs I've seen, Cl

  • My Javi can never do that, even when he accepted Conrad's plan. :(

And Javi has the option of being a complete dipshit and hurt Clem's feelings even more after that! Good luck redeeming yourself on that one boy, I don't even think a crate of apples will do it.

  • Y'know, that actually makes sense.

  • The inspiration for Clem's hoodie if you steal from the car back in S1Ep2 is from Kangaroo Jack.

  • I know! <3

No wonder people love Javier and made him their leader. His natural charm makes anyone want to follow him.

No they didn't spoil the Kenny return. They spoiled some other stuff though. I do think they did more good than harm. I mean, they made THIS possible:

Yeah, they confirmed it during Telltale's stream of S1Ep2 about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Someone needs to parody this video by putting Clem's face on Jack and have Charlie be The Stranger

  • I'm thinking the same. I always think that part 1 and 2 are actually 1 episode. They split em into 2 parts to show how generous they are. :P

I'm almost certain that this point that the whole Ties That Bind Part 1 & 2 is a kind of damage control thing, for lack of better terms.

Muertos actually means "Day of the dead" I thought it was just another term for walker

According to urban dictionary it is also a Dominican slang for "Garbage ass motherfuckers"

  • No, Day of the Dead is "dia de los muertos". Muerto(s) merely means "dead" but implies "dead person", it's just Telltale's attempt at Mexican culture which doesn't work well, like fuck, they speak English a lot better than they do Spanish, they should just call them "walkers", "lurkers", or any other common name at this point.

  • I just want everyone to know over the past two weeks I have slowly read all 209 pages of this thread ahaha

  • That avatar made from Shadman's porn doe

Holy shit nice name dude. I love that movie!!!

  • Lee can have the most human kills out of any character in the game with 26 (plus five unnamed Save-Lot Bandits and the stranger). This also includes mercy killings and defending both himself and Clementine.

  • Are you proud of your life choices, sir?

  • For some odd reason, I thought Javier was referering to the living hostile survivors. Because remember, they are all infected with whatever it is that turns them into walkers.

When Clementine tells Javier that she calls the walkers by that name, Javier asks about the ones that run however the game has never actually had a fast moving walker before.

You can see the brand of New Frontier on Clementine's hand in the flashback in episode 1. I'm glad I didn't see that in my playthrough, that's a major spoiler that TTG forgot to hide. And that's even before she met Ava :D

I agree, it's weird how Javier talks English so smoothly with that "El Spanole" voice as well. And muertos does mean dead / death but the way they are using it, it's grammatically incorrect, in their language it's not a noun.

  • How so sure?

He's an npc character, and yeah, it's the New Frontier who attacked Wellington.

  • edited January 2017

I always thought it was a noun, even if you look at the sentence "Día de los muertos" muertos gramatically acts like a noun which is why the sentence traduced is "Day of the deads" and not "Day of death" which would be "Día de la muerte". This would make sentences like "Los muertos están camiando" which means "the deads are walking" correct. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong though.

  • Muertos literally means "dead" as in dead people, the dead. It doesn't mean death. Death is muerte. So they are using it correctly as far as I know.
