What do you think he means then? Because i can see that season 2 isn't getting all the love that season 1 got. If TellTale don't sort themselves out now they may not have any money to wipe their tears away. I mean i liked episode 1 and 2 but episode 3 and 4 not so much.
But the OP isn't insulting Telltale, He isn't calling them names and he isn't saying stuff like "FUCK TELLTALE" and the stuff he said about the Nick decision is true.
I'm very disappointing in season 2 so far. I'am not that hyped for episode 5 at all like i was for episode 5 of season 1 or episode 5 of The Wolf Among Us.
I'm not however going to boycott TellTale all-together I'm still interested in their upcoming Game of Thrones game and i'm still hoping for a season 2 of The Wolf Among Us. But unless episode 5 of this season REALLY blows me away in some way i most likely will give season 3 a miss (If they make one). Yes i got the season pass so i have to play episode 5 now.
I'm sorry, but it's fucking annoying.
"BOYCOTT"

And half of these have no exp… morelanation and are just there to be there. You can boycott and all, but we really don't need to know.
Oh and I'm waiting for the downvote fairy blase
My god they didn't prove shit. To be honest, I have the feeling they are more compassionate than ever. Nick had no lines because of the miss… moreing hub areas in the third episode. In the fourth he died, and to be honest, I think that's a good choice. He was a weak character, weak of will. He would have never made it through the cold in episode 4.
Again, death is completely normal in a zombie apocalypse. Not every character can have a heart breaking hero moment before he dies, that'd be unrealistic.
But the OP isn't insulting Telltale, He isn't calling them names and he isn't saying stuff like "FUCK TELLTALE" and the stuff he said about … morethe Nick decision is true.

It's not so much that they don't care. They certainly did try to give us what we wanted. They simply don't understand what we want. To be fair, a lot of the complaints weren't very clear about it, so it's not entirely their fault.
When people asked for longer episodes, they really meant they wanted better character interaction. The ability to talk to other characters extended season 1's play time. Episode 204 is longer, yes, but the character interaction sucks. You can speak to characters maybe once or twice, but only about your current objective. There are no conversations that let us get to know these characters and give them our take on it. Season 1 let you talk about things other than the current situation. Take Omid for example. Your objective when you met him was to remove a dangling tanker from the train tracks. You could ask him about his journey since the outbreak, or Civil War history, or his relationship with Christa. It made him seem more like a person, rather than a 1-dimensional video game character with a single personality trait.
We asked for more hubs but what we really wanted was more instances to speak with the characters in the manner mentioned above. We got more hubs, but there was no meaningful character interaction beyond what you were forced to do to progress. Everyone else more or less reiterated what you should be doing to get the story to move along.
So yeah. The sheer volume of unspecific complaints drowned out the ones that actually addressed the issues. The end result feels like a band-aid to those of us complaining, and I would imagine Telltale views it as an unpleaseable fanbase. No one wins...
People asked for hubs and longer episode time, claiming that the lack of these things were prime examples of Telltale no long caring about t… morehe quality of their episodes or the satisfaction of their customers. Then Telltale comes around and gives the fans what they want; hubs, and longer episode time.
So why are people still complaining that Telltale doesn't care? I'm not saying that you have be absolutely thrilled with the episode, but we as a community really need to learn to give credit where it is due. It actually looks like Telltale did in fact listen to their fans, and I am very gracious of that.
Not enough happens in each chapter, or when they do, The chapters feel extremely rushed (Episode 3 moved way too fast and could have been amazing if we got to explore and talk to the other survivors/ 400 Days cast).
I don't like how we can't talk to other characters at all And would have made LOADS of difference for characters like Carlos/ Rebecca/ Alvin/ Nick etc. Without it, it just feels insanely choppy. rebecca hates me one moment then loves me the next. Carlos hates me then trusts sarah to me as if we're neighbors. Mike all of a sudden becomes my best bro when previously he threatened me to leave him alone.
Considering they are two seasons in with this game and one with TWAU you either need to stop buying these games or take an honest look at your complaints. They are more likely to improve the games if you stop buying them and if you aren't willing to do that you are here for a reason.

Constructive criticism is a good thing, It means we want TellTale to get better and the only way to get throw to them is by voting with our money because things like online petitions are worthless and a waste of time.
I'm not saying I hate the boycotts, I'm saying I hate when people make threads about it.
Ok yes season 2 may have not gotten off on the right foot, or hasn't. But that's no reason to encourage everyone else to boycott.
Oh more downvotes...
Yes i know their are massive drama queens out their who insult and even threaten TellTale devs because they may not like something about them. But people like the OP are not them all the points he made are relevant and he is 100% right about the Nick decision being pointless. Yet their are people on this forum (who are equally as annoying as the people who insult and threaten TellTale) saying things like "Hay your just hating" where he is not.
I think the people would not complain as much if they would not have to wait 2 months or more than 2 months for each episode. They build up such huge expectations each time instead of just enjoying the game.
People literally play the game with the attitude: "Impress me Telltale, you did it once already. If the next death doesn't make me cry all night, I'll boycott you."
The writers for episodes 3 and 4 were different compared to the guy who wrote episodes 1, 2 and the upcoming 5th one. Think his name is Nick Breckon. So I'm hoping episode 5 is going to be a billion times better than episodes 3 and 4!
Because the quality of both these things wasn't great, and the writing has gotten worse since episode 3 started. Something happened and they probably had to completely switch up the plot for some reason, thats the most likely issue.
I'd say that's not True, Episode 4 they did quite alot, it was just alot more exploring. They arrived in Savannah, got attacked and lost chuck, boarded up in a house and discover the kid in the attic, Omid's leg gets infected, You try and find a boat and meet Molly, You travel the sewers and meet the Cancer survivors, you head back to the house, You infiltrate Crawford (which took a while, probably the length of time of all of episode 3 Season 2 when it comes to content), you almost lose Ben, You return to the house and save Omid, You tell Clem her parents may be dead, the Boat is stolen/Ben tells Kenny off, Lee tries to find Clem and gets bit.
S2 Episode 4 was also long but had its story and option/potential flaws.
All of S2 Episodes were pretty short in comparison. I was expecting Season 2 Episode 3 to be FAR longer than that. with more bonding with Mike/ Reggie and the 400 days survivors which could have helped but that didn't happen =(
I probably WON'T boycott telltale, because even with the decline in writing it's still much better than most stories out there on the market now.
However, I'm really really hoping they'll improve on S2's pitfalls.
The drama and tension is there. We just really want more exploration and involvement, puzzles and more character conversation trees. They could have added so many in S2 but that never happened and that's upsetting.
(Like the night time of S2 Ep 1 would have been great if we could walk around the cabin living room just once to talk to the others even if say Rebecca and Nick were like "Don't talk to me." )
Or in Ep2 when they were resting on the cliffside before they head for the bridge and we get to know more about Rebecca and Alvin and later on again more dialogue after kenny's reunion.
Or in Ep 3 with Mike, how he became a nicer guy than the grouch he was in the beginning. and of course, the 400 days survivors. Remember on the Cannibal farm when we got to talk to even the St. John's? How come we couldn't do that? I'd love to know how they feel (even if they may be disillusioned in Carver's camp) since we were invested with them in the DLC. (here's hoping another continuation of the 400 days cast will happen in a S2 DLC, even if its difficult)
The option to talk and divulge in the characters is important and means alot to understanding them and molding their opinions of you.
I'm still going to get borderlands and some of ttg's older games (monkey island, sam and max) but..I don't think I'll buy anymore The walking dead games..I couldn't even finish episode 4 tbh..
It doesn't help telltale if you're just saying bad stuff about every episode. Seriously so many people just hate on season 2, i'm just asking, why? Always some problems with a new episode, if someone says they like season 2, people downvote. Why can't people just respect that telltale ATLEAST will make a Walking Dead game for us? If you keep saying bad stuff about it, then i think there is lower % chance that they'll make a season 3, because people didn't like the previously season. Just stop writing bad stuff about the season & episodes and whatever, respect that they will make the game for us, instead of writing ''I didn't like this episode because of this and omg fuck telltale and this season'', i'm getting sick of all these comments.

Yup, always. Some people doesn't respect telltale. They're using their time to make a game for us, and then they are writing bad stuff about it, and ''THIS IS THE WORST EPISODE EVER!''. Some people just can't like anything. I want a season 3, and i don't want our chance lowered because of some idiots and their stupid comments.

Well It sucks that TT is getting alot of fire but that's because we expected so much more from them and they went from having outstanding writing and characters to some that are a little bit flat and more movie-like.
Also MANY fans had the same expectations because Potential in their characters were quite apparent yet a team of professional writers can't? That's what's most saddening. I would say to defend them: it's because they keep switching writers so the pacing is completely out of whack.
But Why change writers so frequently? The season has been very inconsistent. And we expect better when S1, everything was well connected and EXTREMELY well paced. They fit alot of not only entire plots but character development as well.
Where was Nick's character development in comparison to say Ben's?
What about Sarah's to say Clementine in S1?
Everything was very choppy in this episode.
Hell they fit an entire GREAT semi-filler arc of the St. John's in ONE episode. If that isn't badass, idk what is. Whereas in comparison, Carver's camp was just a rushed hodgemodge that was barely passable to Crawford's story arc, but atleast Crawford was just ONE tiny part of episode 4. That's depressing y'know?

Yea, ofc we need to pay them something for the time they use to make the episodes. I don't think they would make the game free and still use so much time to make a episode. We pay for the time they use.

The stranger even explained it to you? He was stalking them (sending messages to Clementine) after you stole from his Car. You see Clementine talking on her walkie at camp, and being visibly upset when her walkie is gone/missing which is when it got rewired.
clem led the stranger to you ever since the second episode, and While we walked in Lee's shoes, the Stranger found faults and criticized your behavior from an Outside perspective. From how clem reported He molded a perception of you, a violent, shallow and unfit parental figure and your shadow but still even more dangerous.
Jolene was also a hint to the stranger's behavior to cling onto innocence and twisted perceptions of protecting innocents.
Of course i wish the stranger was hinted at more in episode 2, like maybe finding his wife and kids or something as zombies, but he was still there in episode 3+.
