THAT thread Says stop complaining and tell them how they can make the game better.
"Telltale has really gone downhill, in season 1 if you saved ben you could still talk to him - he would get developed. With season 2 if you save Nick he doesnt get any other lines after you save him up until his death in episode 4. The new TellTale staff only care about getting paid and they just rush it. After episode 4 they've proved to us that they dont care as much as they did in season 1.
After season 2 ends im boycotting telltale."
I'm sorry but(no offense to the creator of this thread) I don't see much constructive criticism there. I mostly see... well, complaining.
It's like saying: "I don't like that burgers because they taste bad". Yes, you said you don't like them because they tase bad, but that's the complaining part. You need to give criticism on how to make it better. "I don't like that beefier because it has too much ketchup in it". THAT is saying how to make it better.
The creator of this thread seemed to only include the complaining part, not the constructive criticism part.
And that's what he means to do by saying "boycott" and constructive criticism is a good thing. By letting TellTale knowing what they have done wrong and help them improve.
Same here! Sucks that it got pushed back a month, but at least that means more polish. And Bioware seems to have actually taken their time to develop it properly and address issues many people had with the rushed, flawed Dragon Age 2. Maybe one day TellTale will make their own Dragon Age Inquisition to make up for the rushed, flawed TWD S2...
ok. Well don't expect much in the gaming market, this year has BEEN TERRIBLE. I am constantly looking for a new game to play, but there just isn't anything out there so i sit and be bored.
And comments like this are STUPID. IF you dont like how a serious is going you should SPEAK UP and not SHUT UP. Tell everyone why you dont like it, the same way you should tell them why you like it.

Episode 4 was not bad enough to boycott the company, sheesh. While I admit they made a lot of strange/lazy/etc decisions, it was at least still entertaining.
But what the OP said about the Nick decision being pointless is true and that is constructive criticism and that stuff about boycott is actually a good (if not the best) way to get our message across to TellTale by voting with our wallets because online petitions are a wast of time and gets nothing done. We WANT TellTale to do better which is why we say these things.
I'm not however going to boycott TellTale all-together I'm still interested in their upcoming Game of Thrones game and i'm still hoping for a season 2 of The Wolf Among Us. But unless episode 5 of this season REALLY blows me away in some way i most likely will give season 3 a miss (If they make one). Yes i got the season pass so i have to play episode 5 now.
Yes yes yes, constructive criticism IS a good thing, I totally agree with you 100% on that. You are not wrong by that.

Oh... it's this thread again. The raging butthurt "I QUIT!" thread
1) No one cares if you boycott
2) You will play the next season because your little temper tantrum will have ended by then
3) Fuck Nick. He was softer than Ned Flanders' sons
My god they didn't prove shit. To be honest, I have the feeling they are more compassionate than ever. Nick had no lines because of the miss… moreing hub areas in the third episode. In the fourth he died, and to be honest, I think that's a good choice. He was a weak character, weak of will. He would have never made it through the cold in episode 4.
Again, death is completely normal in a zombie apocalypse. Not every character can have a heart breaking hero moment before he dies, that'd be unrealistic.
"Not every character can have a heart breaking hero moment before he dies, that'd be unrealistic."
Basically the excuse the walking dead franchise relies on (comic, tv show , ect ..) and it's wearing thin . This is narrative last I check I assume some more meaningful scenarios would be appropriate and while less ceremonial deaths in some case is suited to some character . Sadly its seems they just love having anticlimactic and unsatisfying ends to most supporting characters ..

I am so game starved right now i am thinking about emulating games, its getting that bad. It just amazes me that people cry so hard about telltale games, if you don't like the game don't buy it. I enjoyed every minute of episode 4, and it satisfied my gamer drug for the night.
Now i'm jonsing for more. There is literally nothing to play. At this point resident evil 6 is starting to look good to me.
WHAT THE F*** ! HOW DOES THIS GET 60 (SIXTY!) LIKES!!! Episode 4 was great! The best episode of all NINE yet! You sound like a ten year old by saying you are boycotting Telltale. I am positive Telltale employees are reading this and laughing. This isn't the civil rights movements of the 60s and 70s , this is a freakin video game. Get over it. You might be upset that IN YOUR OPINION (key word : opinion, meaning not everyone thinks the same) the episode lacked character development but I completely disagree.

they have the right to Boycott TTG. but when they're doing it, could you please STFU and dont destroy the TTGames for those who actually have "fun" with them. That'll be Awesome

9.99 to a adult means jack shit. I enjoy season 2, if they charged 30.00 i would buy it.

Everything sucks, that's why multiplayers are the only good shit these days, i only want to play H1Z1

I agree with this. Nick had potential but it's true that not everyone can die a hero.. It's not a fairytale.

Well I am sorry you feel that way. But I won't leave game. I love it so much and I am not going to let mistakes ruined that experience.

He got 60 likes because most people agree with him. And he doesn't have to like the episode.
I would love if the 60 people who voted this up just stopped playing. Go ahead boycott Telltale. Do it. You won't.
Seriously if these 60 idiots left the forum and game, both would be more enjoyable.
Boycott Telltale? Fucking lunatics it's a video game. Mods please lock this thread!
