Why do people hate on COD so much? I mean I understand that it's repetitive but I don't see the same hate on Mario games and Zelda games. Also, the zombie story in COD world at war-black ops 2 is brilliant.
I didn't say that. I said most of the people who find this episode decent or good or whatever are people who watch it on youtube. Unless you're that "most" then there's no point of saying anything regarding that.
The downvote system is so flawed and people are sheep so honestly I do not care at all. It's funny though since it motivates me to post more since it gets people attention. I don't care anyways, I get alot of downvotes in one post, then alot in another. Tell me why I should care or pay attention to it.
It's not the opposite, believe me. I have pages of proof. I'll give you some since you need it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And the downvotes represent ho… morew many people disagree with you, so in a way it's almost like a status.
It's not the same people, you said "PEOPLE I KNOW". I'm not someone you know...LOL?
Yea. But sometimes people dislike comments when someone doesn't agree with the popular opinion. Like my sarcastic Oh my God comment. All I'm saying is that everyone is acting like a typical gamer. You have some that going to defend, some that are going to hate, and some that'll try to end a flame/troll war. All this stuff is about "Leave Telltale alone", "Stop complaining", "Let's boycott", or in this guys case "I'm leaving because of negativity" is just another day on Telltale forums.
LOL are you implying the same people who played mario 33 years ago still play it now? If you honestly think that then I recommend you recheck the mario and nintendo fanbase.
but I don't see the same hate on Mario games and Zelda games.
That's actually pretty simple. The first Mario game was released in 1981. Do you really think people will remember COD after 33 years?
Why do people hate on COD so much? I mean I understand that it's repetitive but I don't see the same hate on Mario games and Zelda games. Also, the zombie story in COD world at war-black ops 2 is brilliant.
You call it that, but is it not without reason? Some people are displeased with the product. I'm enjoying it, but at the same time, the plot holes stand out like a sore thumb to me as well.
My problem is that, just like OP, I come here for some good conversations and all I see is hate for an episode (yes it has flaws) but only HATE. I rarely see any threads talking about the good things.
No offense, but it's just as annoying to complain about complaining as complaining itself, I myself, liked the episode. But you, I or anyone has the right to tell people what to think, censorship is what ruins the actual criticism.
That wasn't exactly what I was implying, but there are people who are in their 30's-40's and still play it. And even those who aren't playing it, I'm pretty sure that if you'll ask them about it they will most certainly remember and have fond memories of it. Nostalgia is a big part of the appeal, but not all of it.
I'm not saying you have to be a fan of Mario or Zelda, but they have achieved what the cod games never will. I was only pointing out that your comparison of those games was faulty.
LOL are you implying the same people who played mario 33 years ago still play it now? If you honestly think that then I recommend you recheck the mario and nintendo fanbase.
XD then find non hate threads or create your own but making threads like this isn't going to change anything we just have to learn to respect one anothers opinions.
lol that's not my problem...

That's less than a handful. And just because mario has been a thing gives nintendo the right to create a crappy mario game every year, or less than a year?
Majority of nintendo games are overrated and alot of their fans are hypocritical. But regardless of all the hate, COD will make alot of money and I don't see it dying anytime soon.

I agree completely OP
people act so bitchy and childish around here its almost if there are trolls everywhere
they praise Season 1 like it was the best game ever and hate on Season 2 like its the worst game
Its ridiculous and I find it so annoying
If only they would shut up and leave the forum if they hate the game and telltale so much but nope the
haters don't have anywhere else to go
XD then find non hate threads or create your own but making threads like this isn't going to change anything we just have to learn to respect one anothers opinions.
but since this forum is full of people who are taught to just swallow everything without questioning i am just forgetting about TWD and definitely TTG. thanks for making my day though, seems that there are NORMAL THINKING people with a bit of expectations.
Stuff like this is the reason why people don't like those who complain
I was shocked to find that so many people feel negatively about episode 4.
Episode 4 addressed pretty much everyone's complaints about previous episodes. It was long and it had plenty of interactivity. Nick dying sucks but it's Walking Dead, what did you expect?
And Sarah, well... I don't really have strong feelings on that matter. She's a walker in an RV in my playthrough... >;)

Spouting stupid shit like "SEASON TWO SUCKS", "I'M BOYCOTTING TELLTALE", "FOUR PROJECTS HAS KILLED TELLTALE RIP", isn't criticizing. It's just acting like fucking morons.
I'm fine with logical criticism (such as the "Everyone is either dead or unlikeable" thread for example), but when it's just blind hate, it gets fucking annoying.
There's always people displeased and they're always the loudest. Weigh positive threads vs. negative threads on this... or any forum and you'll see the pattern.
You call it that, but is it not without reason? Some people are displeased with the product. I'm enjoying it, but at the same time, the plot holes stand out like a sore thumb to me as well.
Season one did have a lot of flaws and it was still a great game. Fans were excited to see season two expand on all those things that made season one great, but instead it took them out and created an aimless story that doesn't even feel connected to season one. I personally think episode 3 & 4 are vast improvements over the first two episodes, but it's too little too late in my opinion. I hated the first two episodes because they just turned Clementine into an adult and created a bunch of unlikeable characters that contradicted the main theme of season one. Hearing adults talk to a preteen girl like she is no different than them just comes off as strange and inappropriate. That's why people were talking about romantic relationships between Luke and Clem. It felt like he was going to make a pass at her all of a sudden. The dialogue would have been fine if Clem was an adult, but since she's not it felt weird and it was a problem with every single character in the game for the first two episodes.
I know a lot of people were so turned off by episode of this season that they completely quit the game and never came back. I bought the season pass before I played the first episode which is my fault, but I never expected it to be so bad that I had no desire whatsoever to come back. I couldn't enjoy the first two episodes whatsoever because I didn't like adults treating Clem like she's an adult and it was a game ruining problem for me. I did enjoy episode 3 & 4 a little because they changed some of the problems I had with the first two episodes. I like seeing people act concerned for Clementine and understand that's she just a kid. I still have a very low opinion of this season and it doesn't feel connected to season one, but I after so much time has went by and after they made some changes to the way characters behave I can enjoy it for what it is. A lot of fans quit the game for the same problems I had with episode one and I was glad that made changes in episode 3, but I don't know how many people who disliked the game as much as I did even stayed around this long. I had no interest in returning but did so because I already had the season pass and episode two was just as bad to me. A lot of people here seem to have more of a problem with the last two episodes than the first two, but I guess that's to be expected since most fans who disliked the first too episodes aren't playing any longer and have no interest in talking about it. The one thing that people seem to agree on is that season two has been a huge disappointment.
If they do make a third season they need to get rid of Nick Breckon completely. I won't buy any new walking dead game if his name is associated with it because he is responsible for this horrible season two. He just doesn't get it and those first two episodes he wrote were garbage that gave no regard to the themes and characters Vanaman created in season one(it's oe just completely butchered the great story from season one and turned off a huge portion of the fans instantly. either doesn't understand what made so many people love the first game or he is intentionally changing things which aren't working and are insulting to the entire theme of season one. I didn't have a lot of interest in episode five before I found out that he is writing it and now I have even less. This is the same guy that came up with the horrible idea for 400 Days that I've been complaining about long before I knew who was behind it. The idea of putting five new stories into an hour long episode while forcing players to make random choices based on nothing was about as stupid of an idea you could come up with for a game like the walking dead. The writing for the individual stories was good enough, but they were too short and you knew next to nothing about any of the characters for it to be very entertaining. Maybe it would have been a decent teaser if had been released closer to season two and they had planned an actual story around it that was going to continue but we all know that wasn't the case. I will never buy another game that Nick Breckon is associated with that's for sure.
It's mostly just children with unreasonable expectations and no working knowledge of the video game development pipeline.
I take extreme exception to the "Too many projects!" complaint. The video game industry is not a secure industry to work in. When you can sell a million of your product and still be a financial failure, that says a lot about the state of your industry.
Most companies work project to project banking on each successive project to keep them out of sudden bankruptcy. Telltale, though... they're booming right now. They're enjoying their success and new found job security. I applaud them for their meteoric rise and hope they can keep it up!

Oh. Oh, okay.
I still didn't mean to sound like an asshole.
That's actually pretty simple. The first Mario game was released in 1981. Do you really think people will remember COD after 33 years?
Nah you are okay.
It's not "High Expectations", it's "Negativity Bias".

Zombies is what keeps me playing COD.
Once again another thread complaining about people giving their OPINIONS and Criticizing the Episode.
"boycotting"
Yes this is an opinion.
If they want to boycott the game in what way or form does that affect you? You. Dont. Work. For. Telltale
You call it that, but is it not without reason? Some people are displeased with the product. I'm enjoying it, but at the same time, the plot holes stand out like a sore thumb to me as well.

Of course, everyone decides to dislike me without even taking the time to explain because the dislike is the easy way out.
Just pay it no mind bro you said what you thought was right that's all that matters.
I'm leaving so don't bother bickering guys.
That's less than a handful. And just because mario has been a thing gives nintendo the right to create a crappy mario game every year, or less than a year?

Stupid people on this forum. >:(
Well bye
For me err since ghosts came out I gave up on cod I remember them saying "oh yeah this'll be TOTALLY different" liars so I only play zombies
I agree completely OP

Treyarch only makes zombies.
Except then those who hate it go into the non hate threads (either that or it gets buried to the bottom)
And?
That's my point
Then ignore them.
Stuff like this is the reason why people don't like those who complain
Thank you! I feel the same way.

There's always people displeased and they're always the loudest. Weigh positive threads vs. negative threads on this... or any forum and you'll see the pattern.
People just love to bitch.
The Wolf Among Us thread is better than this place. >:(
This thread doesn't bother me at all. All i said was that making these type of threads isn't going to do anything.
And neither are the threads about boycotting
