I think you have a point, not everyone is a good shot AND melee weapons don't need ammo and as for the crowbar it is multipurpose and a good blunt weapon. I just prefer to put some space between me and a walker.

Blunt weapons are better than pointy ones, as they can't get stuck and … morea few hits with a crowbar are enough to kill a living human being, let alone a rotten walker skull(but the crowbar even has an additional pointy end).

Doesn't need ammo (and if it breaks, way more people own a crowbar than a gun/ammunition for exactly the gun you need ammo for, especially here in Germany).
I can't shoot for shit, and many that can would be shocked how hard it is to hit a moving target as small as a human skull.
A assault rifle or any other rifle is heavy, loud and needs specific ammo. Plus, autofire will get you killed. It's hard enough to hit a moving head, but with the recoil of a assault rifle it would be very hard to get out of a messy situation. Plus, most shots won't hit anyway. I'm not strong enough to use a completely blunt weapon like Mike's sledge hammer efficiently, so sharp is the way to go. Probably a good knife or or a machete. I would just rather not use a gun because there is not unlimited ammo nor is it a quiet option.

Along side ligthsaber, I'd choose a S&W 45. revolver for the fire power.
Revolvers are pretty good in the ZA because they're very simple to use, fast to reload and there isn't the possibility to accidentaly drop or lost magazines like with pistols. And if you are a jerry miguel kind of lighting finger, you can fire faster with revolver than a pistol.
Crossbow because I can retrieve arrows I shoot. Hatchet for cutting wood, as a backup weapon, and for amputating bitten limbs. Ice pick because it kills quickly and does not get stuck easily, and a Swiss Army knife for versatility.
I'd make a bow. The draw strength could possibly be up to 65 Lbs, but i'm not sure if that can break a zombie's skull. My melee weapon would definitely be a kopis.

I'd use a sharp kitchen knife or something easy to find at home. Versatility is not overrated.

But silencers don't completely silence the weapon. The real use is to mimic the gunshot as something else such as rocks falling or something.

Change my mind, I'd use a baseball bat. You can take out walkers knees easily. Smash a skull in and keep your distance.
The generic Glock 17 that's used in every episode.
Or the Beretta 92FS Inox, the other pistol in TWDG.
