I'm glad I haven't seen any Finnish people embarrassing themselves with the national pride bullshit. I hate this country, a lot of us do but still when we hear a foreigner say Finland some of us start partying for it (Well not really but u know)

Anyone here ever considered serving your country's army or used to serve?

If so, what did you do/plan to do?

I'm joining the IDF in a little less than 2 years, if everything goes accordingly and Ill be found qualified (it takes perfect score on all aptitude tests), I'll be joining the Intel Corps on a unit called "8200", but if I'm found fit for combat and they lack manpower, I might just be sent to the front, unless I prove I'm worthier somewhere else that is.

  • No, GTFO with your war bullshit.

My husband served on the front line for 2 years.

It's not really my choice, and I'm anticipating it really, because this is where I was born and protecting my homeland is something I feel like I owe to everyone who died here. I'm probably not going to be a trooper on the line and more like collecting information for the ground troops on where wanted terrorists are using computerized tools and what not.

    Where did he serve?

Sorry to say this but I don't really want to discuss military stuff any more? I have extremely passionate feelings about Palestine and if you're Israeli it's probably not the best route for us to go down.
