Allies are always a good thing. However, I certainly won't vote in favour of that jerk Barry, so it's either Volt or Arcus for me. And Arcus seemed to be pretty decent, so why not?

    Dennis Deimer (16), District Nine

    Training Day Two 2/?

The fire. How magical it can be, you just need a spark and the fire will grow bigger and bigger. Around the fire is the only place I once felt something in me it wasn´t cold or just emptiness. Everyone else hates or just plain ignores me. The blacky weirdo who nobody should me with.

Two tributes , one a boy who looks like my age and a girl who is a lot more younger than him, are talking to the boys from 1 and 8, the last who has been following me or trying to ally with and just getting silence. It surprised, the fact that someone will want to volunteer with me. But then, after the two or three attempts from him, he just left to talk to the fourteen year old from one. I don´t blame, I would have did it too if I was in his place, better to ally someone like him that someone like me. Talking about it, even my and Hailey´s (my district partner) escort, Flavia, doesn´t even look at me in the face.

Our mentor and the lonely victor of District Nine, Zeryal Breywester, also are kind of towards me. I don´t really blame her though. Having to be forced to kill your own brother, killing someone else and then mentor children just to see them die, hell she is having it worse than me and all the people in the training area together. I look up from the fire one moment and I see Hailey, who is with two other girls and a boy. She gives me a sad look and then walks towards me. Why she is doing it? Is she going to ask me something? Does she need my help? Is she even going to me? Apparently, yes because she kneels next to me and opens her mouth.

“Dennis, I know you may don´t want to but I was asking if you wanted to ally with me, Lilith, Bale and Olive. Do you?” What? She really asked for me to ally with her. I will only make it worse for her; I am monster who cannot save himself, so how I am going to help her. But then I feel it. It´s not like with the fire, but different. Not in a bad way, but in a good one. I like it, but I don´t want ot get her killed. I don´t what to do

    [Accept] [Decline]

Sorry this part was too short. I just wanted to give you something.

  • [Accept]

Dennis will most likely always be a loner, peaceful or dangerous, but it would be better to make him look like someone protected than a juicy target. Actually, I'm thinking that these allies will die for someone else than Dennis.

Allies are always a good thing. Only the very best can win without any allies, so I think Dennis' chances are better if he finds some friends. I just hope this won't lead to any surprising deaths among them.

  • Volt Leroy, (15) District Five

    Training Day Two 3/?

From the training area I am now, the snares one, I see them all, all the other tributes. The tributes from six, Lawrence Grey who is 16 and Alexandria Ford who is three years younger, are discussing about something, with the little girl being mad about something as far I see. They are near the camouflage section. The two careers, Liennia Mason the naïve daughter of the major and John Lootman, who I don´t find anything who makes him stand out, from two are in the physical combat area, eyeing the other two careers from Four and One, Reeva Trace and Velvet Ross, who are also with Amber Jones in the spears section. The alliance between the tributes that come from District nine (with the boy being their new addition), twelve and the girl from eleven are in the edible plants section. The girl from ten is alone in the throwing area. For her strength I think she will be a target from both mini-career packs, since they broke up since a trouble between the females from two and one. The male from the lumber district, Barry Eledeen, is in the survival section, but apparently the trainer is trying to make him learn something and he does get it. The dumb little kid called Troy Farvale, who is from the fishing district, is in the archery part, trying to do something right for once. The little kids from 3 and 10, Linda Machem and Buck Thorne, are with Tector Ramsay, Linda´s district partner, in the wiring area of the training. The strange little boy from District Eleven is in the puzzle section. He is clearly hiding something. The girls form eight and five, Riley (funny, you would think someone from Seven or Nine would have that name) with the latter girl being my district partner Sophie. She is a bloodbath from the start, even as she walked up to the stage she was shaking so we didn´t talk. Why should i? I am smarter, and I am only here to win, for my brother.

Brother. Some people can be more cold and just say that the meaning of the word as someone having the same parents as you. Other can described it as someone close to you, a friend. No, they are all wrong. It´s family, someone you care about and he does too. And when they are gone, no else is there for you and if they are, it just doesn´t feel like it was. It’s like you are gone with them, but you don´t see or feel them. Watts. I still remember when he was reaped. I run to him, trying to take him away from there, not knowing it was impossible. And he died, and it´s my fault. I should have saved him, I should volunteer. But I didn´t because I was a coward, I left him die. I watched him as the girl from two cut him open in the bloodbath. She decapitated him, and I watch it. At least she didn´t win, the girl form one, Silk Tigerson did.

Dining time is announced, and i am the last to arrive. All the other people are already sited somewhere. The careers form two, the only ones I am not even letting stand a chance, are in the first table going from right to left. The bastards are laughing about something and it only makes me want their blood more. The one table closer to them is where my district partner and her ally, along with the Sophie ally´s district partner Arcus Mantrey and the boy from one, Heirad Canaya, are in. It´s like a bigger alliance is forming. In the next table there are both of the tributes from 3 and the male from ten. They are going to die first, that´s for sure. The boy from ten is the one is who talking the most and the other two are just listening to him. Onto the next table there is the outer alliance. All of them are talking about something, except the weirdo from nine. I think he has some kind of “trouble”. Maybe he is some kind kleptomaniac. Table 5, going for numbers, there are the loners and the tributes from 6. None of them are talking, except the Troy who clearly wants something. In the last table, there is the female pack of careers. One is who is talking the most. I am clearly not going to where the district two is, but maybe I can manipulate them, make them my ally and then I can slight their throats without them knowing. But I could fail.

    Where should Volt sit in?

[Table of the careers lovers] This option does not sound too good, he will be dealing with careers, the true terror of hunger games, the more out of their target list, the better.

[Table of the “cannot give a nickname” alliance] This option appears to be one of the best because he will sit down with his distract partner and can be part of a good alliance, but can also turn into an enemy, it won't end well.

[Table of the bloodbaths] Even though they are harmless, it is possible that careers are planning to kill those who are sitting at that table, better not look like a bloodbath target.

[Table of the outer alliance] It seems like a good option to enter into a good alliance, but there's still the risk of he being mistaken with an intruder and be the target of this alliance, would not be a good idea.

[Table of the loners] It may be a good idea if he look like a threat that can fend for himself, of course he is less likely to be the target.

[Table of the femme fatale pack] Same as the first table, of course girls can feel more offended and clearly pursue and kill him, I doubt he'll get to manipulate them.

I'll take [Table of the loners], but I don't think my vote will make much difference. I don't care if Volt will go on a suicide situation or not.

    Training Day Two 4/4

“Do you think he may want to join us?” asks Bale referring to the Boy from Five. He seems pretty build up.

“I don´t think so, in fact I don´t he will join anyone” I respond to him.

“Yeah, then why he is walking towards the table where the girls from one, four and seven are?” Lilith tells us. She has been nice, but I don´t trust her. She volunteered, but not in the same as Bale, he is just a bit delusional.

I open my mouth to respond. “Well, you saw how he is in appearance. Maybe he has some kind of training and he thinks they will let him into their group?”

“Come on, what kind of ability can someone from district from the power district can someone have?” Lilith says.

“You never know Lilith, he could be some kind of crazy sadistic murderer who is intending to kill us all” Lilith is so naïve. I still don´t get what I accepted her as ally. Oh wait, it´s because I thought no else will want to be it. And then Hailey and Bale came along and now Dennis, who is weirdly quiet along with Hailey. I don´t blame them thought, I don´t even know why I am acting so “normal” for someone who is probably going to die in a few days.

“Nah, seems nice enough” ugh, if I could faceplam myself without her noticing it.

“Guys”-Hailey says out of nowhere-“I think we shouldn´t go the cornupia at the start”

“Why not? We need the supplies for surviving you know?” Lilith says.

Hailey speaks and tells us, “Yeah, but we have like minimum chances of making it out of the bloodbath. It´s not worth the risk”

“I think it´s worth it. How are we going to survive without supplies?” Bale says agreeing with his district partner.

“What do you think”-Lilith speaks for a moment and then continues-“of this, Dennis?”

“I agree with whatever Hailey says about it”

Lilith gets a little mad and now has a glare in her face. “Ugh, fine. Olive, what do say? You are a tiebreaker.”

We will really need the supplies, but we could die horribly and brutally by the careers. Or we won´t and we will have supplies. The risk is there.

[Go to the cornupia, agree with Lilith] [Don´t go to the cornupia, agree with Hailey]

I am so sorry this part was a disaster. I just had some rough times, i am sorry.

  • [Don´t go to the cornupia, agree with Hailey]

The Cornucopia is designed to be a bloodbath and to lure the tributes in. It's adeathtrap and should be avoided at all costs for tributes who aren't skilled in fighting.
