One thing I've always wondered about is, Is Imagine Dragons: Rock, hip hop, or something else I dont know about.
Yeah, i'm very dumb to music, I never listen to stuff like that
I'd call them pop-indie rock. They have that soft cadence in their music and are a bit sonically simplistic. Plus, their music often has heavy production using synth and drum machines.

True, but that's what passes for mainstream rock these days. The whole genre is pretty much D.O.A. If mainstream rap doesn't change it might end up the same: cookie cutter lyrics over watered down pop beats...

Not exactly my cup of tea.
Love this song. It has so many great artists in it.
Here's everyone in the song in order I think: (Bukshot, Boondox, Claas, PSYCHO jesus, Liquid Assassin, KidCrusher, Whitney Peyton, The R.O.C., AJAX, Grewsum, Scum, F-Dux, Jason Porter, Ronnie Blaze, Darko, Sutter Kain, Kung Fu Vampire, & Mars)
Speaking of going places, B4.DA.$$ did really well for an underground, independent album. I've always liked Joey's style; his Jamaican upbr… moreinging seeps into his flow and delivery, if that makes any sense. Plus DJ fucking Premier produced a lot of these tracks too.

i thought Kendrick's control verse is the most exciting thing that's happened in rap for years. Everyone is so afraid to name drop and talk bad on other artists these days. I also like how he ripped into rappers who use Molly.p
The beat was a bit annoying, but it is a Big Sean song, so I guess that's to be expected. What did you think of it?
I have to say that I quite like The Great Milenko. Was it juvenile? Yes. Did it have immensely annoying characteristics? Well, it wouldn't be an ICP album without it. But, I found the insane ramblings to be enduring enough to warrant a good amount of entertainment.
I can't deny that part of my enjoyment of them is that I was one of those high school kids so fed up at my nothing-problems that I could relate to their sub-intelligent babblings.
But, I do like The Rap Critic. I know he's friends with Marc Mues, and him and Marc are useless quite funny together.
@JamesDalton1995. @Everyone'sClemInTime.
I present a rather funny and spot on review of ICP's The Great Milenko.

I really like Rap Critic's reviews, even if they're mostly isolated to Blip.
i just could never get into them. Unlike most non-fans, I never really had a problem with the violence or homophobia. Hell, I listened to Eminem and DMX when I was a teen and the latter had bars like this...
"Blood on my hands and there's no remorse / Blood on my dick cause I fucked a corpse!
I think the biggest thing that annoys me about them is that they've been rapping for nearly 25 years and STILL use the same amateur flow, rhyme scheme and cadence.
Like so.
ICP sucks whale cock / They make me wanna frown / It's a stupid gimmick / To dress up like a clown / ad nauseum...
I'm listening to it right now.

I can see that. Their in a league of their own with lines like "I don't wanna talk to no scientist, y'all muthafuckas be lying and getting me pissed" and "what is a juggalo? he ain't a phoney. He'll walk up and bust a nut in your macaroni." They have extremely elementary wordplay. But, as I've stated, I don't listen to them for their deep intellectual discussions forged in their intricately woven songs. Their name is Insane Clown Posse, that name alone should alert anyone who wants Nas levels of complexities in their rapper.

i know man, but seriously 24 fucking years is a long time not to attain ANY semblance of proficiency in the basic act of rapping.
Even shit rappers like Icky Azalea and Big Sean have the wherewithal to maintain a tight flow and occasionally switch up the tempo. ICP is basically just an especially lame metal band that talks instead if sings and uses hip-hop production. I'll give them great stage presence, but otherwise, I just don't see the appeal.
Don't even get me started on some of their fans. When the FBI has received enough incident reports to categorize your fandom as a street gang, something is SERIOUSLY wrong.

A song off the newest Insane Clown Posse album The Missing Link: Lost that came out a few months back and I gotta say I'm really loving this song. In my opinion it is one of the best songs ICP has ever done.
Yeah, Tyler easily had the weakest feature. The rest were actually pretty good. Bad News by Action Bronson and Danny Brown had a chaotic, almost horrorcore vibe and r-Cali is still one of my favorite ASAP Rocky songs.
Very nice.
Certainly better than the GTAV exclusive colab Tyler, the Creator did.

The beat was ok, but the flow was weak and Tyler seemed bored.
Pretty damn good actually. I like ICP best when they tone down the (air quotes) "humor". Probably why The Tower is one of their few songs that I actually enjoy.

Pure New York hip hop right here. I really hope A$AP Nast gets the recognition he deserves, guy's rapping outshines Rocky, in my opinion. Method Man's verse us fire too.
Fuck this guy. Vanilla Ices like him are the reason why it's so hard for white rappers to get taken seriously. Say what you want about Macklemore and Yelawolf. Hell, I'll even give Iggy Azalea the benefit of the doubt, but RiFF RAFF is a shameless culture vulture, no two ways about it.
Been peeping this clown's material. And I have to say, dude is wack.

Found a couple songs by Blaze that I really liked that I never heard of till like a week ago. This one is a personal favorite of mine.

Man, this song... Definitely in my top 5 favorite Kendrick songs. He delivers a powerful 'wham!' line at the end, much like he did in The Blacker The Berry.
Bought Hopsin's new album yesterday. And I have to unfortunately say this is his weakest project by far thus far. He still has that great persona, but nothing about Pound Syndrome is at all new or interesting. It sounds almost too clean in his dirty Hopsin tracks and too dirty in his clean Marcus tracks.
Although the album has its strengths, the production as a whole leaves a lot to be desired. Better luck next time cause I enjoyed Gazing for what it was, Raw was absolutely amazing, Knock Madness was great in some places and a bit weak in others but at least it had those moments of pure fire, but this is pretty stale in comparison.

Yeah Killjoy Club is a new group with them. Whether you hate or like ICP you can't deny they bust their asses lol.
Imagine Dragons is a rock band. BUT they did a really cool remix to Radioactive with Kendrick Lamar, who is one of my favorite rappers.

really? i like the beat...
Another artist to add to the cutting board for the dissecting.
It was great in most respects, but the high pitched chanting in the background started to grate pretty quickly.
ohhh yeah true. i think it wouldve work better if they put it in certain parts. thats true man.
idk i think i have tuned it out or something. it doesnt bother me as much as when i first heard it

But he only fucks with hoes that wear Dolce and Gabbana and motherfuck subtraction.
He reminds me of a parody rapper you'd see on a skit. On par with The Lonely Island or something. Although, in this case, he's being dead-ass serious.
