Is anyone else unable to recruit X6-88? I've already done the quest to get the raider synth back and he showed me my quarters in The Institute. Is this a bug or I have to progress further?
I know i was looking for one, so i can't be the only one. I located a Railway rifle, so if you want one, head to Bedford Station, and go to the Engine Car. Inside the Engine Car, you will find a dead skeleton, a cooler etc. The railway rifle was in there. I been looking for this thing ever since i got this game.

I found mine in a bunker, surrounded by a huge scrapyard. The place is crawling with super mutants though. IIRC Bedford Station only has some ghouls, so that's definitely the path of least resistance.

Heck yeah, I chase those whenever I get the chance. That's actually how I found my Railway Rifle. A young couple took shelter in a bunker during the war, but their generator failed and sealed them in without enough oxygen to last.
I haven't found that one yet. The Greenbriar one made me go crazy. BTW its not by the river, it's by the campsite left of the barrel hidden in brush, its pretty much invisible dammit. I'm glad he is dead, i would of killed him myself, if he was alive.

Throw a point or two in scrounger and use a variety of ammo types.
You can also use surplus ammo as currency. I never use .38 ammo, so I basically use it as a replacement for bottle caps.
i do the cap glitch. but now when i find stuff i really dont need to use it. i mean im just dicking around and killing mofos i just get a bunch of shit, and sell them. like the chems. at one point i had like 30 jets 25 psychos and like 40 buffouts. i sell half of them and pretty much wipe them out.

So the BoS just arrived to commonwealth and they were cleaning up lol but is it the game or are they that weak/stupid?? they keep fucking crashing when theyre on the helis lol everytime im on like the downtown area these dumbasses are always blowing up lol its hilarious.

If it says they're carrying too much, just drop the stuff on the ground then order them to pick it up. They'll do it.

I havent played FO3 but I got it for free with my FO4 purchase so i will definitely try it.
I cant really answer your question as I got pinned in behind a door and everytime I spawned back in there I died immediately. I had to restart from a previous save.
On the PS4 you hit the share button to take screenshots or make videos.
Just have to play around in the settings to avoid getting an annoying pop up (or pop down) everytime you use it.
Then copy it to a usb stick and shove that into the pc.

I eventually managed to skip the conversation to try and tried to kill him but he got close to to me can caused me to lose some health as he blew himself up on the farmers, thankfully i did a quick save just before approaching the farm so i didn't loose too much gameplay and they didn't come back on my second attempt :P

Funny, yesterday I had all my companions meet up at the Red Truck Stop, and while I was talking to Nick I noticed the other companions raise their guns and start shooting. Turns out it was a fucking Deathclaw attacking Codsworth!

Did you use the bell? Thats what I do when I need to find someone and dont feel like checking around.

Welp I found dogmeat he is at Fort Hagen and must be glitched because he won't leave no matter what and he won't even follow.
Try shooting him until he falls over. That might reset his behavior.

If you build a doghouse Dogmeat will usually be in or near it.
As for money, put some water purifiers in Sanctuay and sell the bottles. They get put into the workbench every so often.
