If one of the series had to come to an end. Which one would you choose?

  • twau, twd is too good. its the best game ever

  • Keep making seasons of GoT and WD and I can die happy.

  • Good question my answer is if between TWD s1 and TWAU chose TWD but way the TWD is going in terms of gameplay and length in S2 no thanks chose TWAU just fascinated with murder mystery and badass bigby more decisions more action better story then s2 without skips just quality and has dave fennoy and melissa so still win. Actually care about the characters and constant mystery is brilliant and whole concept innovative

  • XD lol.

Probably TWAU - i really enjoy it and it's a great game, but unfortunately for it TWD is better :D

That's fine. I dont mind if people disagree with me as long as they're not jerks about it, lol. You've been very civil which I appreciate. Im not quite as invested as you are, although I do love the game and I adore Clementine. I still feel like this story is winding down while The Wolf Among Us is ramping up. I dont know what else they can do with the story that we havent seen. Move to one location, run into dangerous people, kill walkers, repeat. If you know of any other directions the zombie apocalypse story can go in, I would be interested in hearing it. Maybe you have more imagination than Kirkman. Im not trying to crap on his comics either, I do enjoy them. I just feel like the situation itself is limiting to some degree.

Aha, me too. There's no point in flame wars on the internet over disagreements, because in the end, that never pays off for either side. I myself don't feel as confident in TWAU as you, but that's okay. We're all different. I appreciate you being civil as well. And on other directions that TWD could go, I've posted some theories in the past, and I might make more in the future, but there are tons of other people who have promising ideas as well. I'm more so interested in the psychology of the survivors than the walkers, as that's pretty much the point of the game. We shape our relationships with the characters. Here's a couple of discussion examples that I found 'thought' worthy:

And here's one on our choice consequences that could have the potential in being quite gripping:

There are way more, but I don't feel like scrolling too deep into the forums, lol. There are a lot of new ones due to the latest cliffhanger. Oh, and no worries. I'm not crapping on Kirkman's comics either, it's just that I'm not too big a fan of them.

  • I love the wolf among us, and the only reason I am going to say that this series might come to an end after the 1st series is that after the crime is solved and the murder is caught I don't see how it will continue. with the walking dead its about the characters, its about clementine, after people die in series 1 and Lee is killed off it comes full circle back to Clem and the player now controls her. it never really stops following the characters. the wolf among us is great to follow, but its about a bunch of characters and it never has a strong lead, unless the second series was not about solving a crime I don't see how it will continue. If it dose as long it has a good storyline I will play it through.

  • They haven't even started Game of Thrones...

Apparently the comics expand into them trying to get the homelands back... but they can't really do that in TWAU because... well, it's already in the comics. so yeah, that potential story is closed off to them. I'm not sure that TWAU will make it past one Season, simply because apart from doing another murder case, there's almost nothing else they could do....

  • the games are loosely based on the comics, so they can't unless they got the writers permission first. yes I agree that after the first murder they would have to another murder. unless at the end of the series you find some guilty people and were tricked believing it was them. and the really murder got away. and the 2nd would show why the murder did what he did and by the end he is caught be Bigby. that might work.

  • Geez Louise. Relax. Also, what does it have to do with class?

Hating on a game before its release. Classy. Get out.

  • There are a lot of them though. I think it'll last longer than you think. Warner Bros. is making a film and there is a ton of content from the comics. I hope both games last a long time, but I would choose to keep TWD just because of the emotional connection I've had with the game. Though, I DO love TWAU. It's just not as moving as TWDG.

Yeah. Besides, the fable comics are supposed to end soon anyways.

Or anything that potentially prevents TTG from making more Walking Dead.

  • Not TWD. The game needs to at least have more seasons than the show.

But right now, I'd say TWAU with uncertainty.

  • I really like Twau I bought the season pass but I think that it is enough with one season there is no need for a season 2
    So i would end Twau.
    TWD ftw :)

  • Asking which one of the series should end on TWD forum. Yeah, surely you wont get a biased answer here... The way I see it, TWAU has way more interesting world and characters and there's no limit on what the writers can come up with as long as it doesn't break canon and it's a fairy tale.
Sure we are way more emotionally invested in TWD but there is only so much they can do until they start repeating stuff.

Either of those scenarios might be a stretch, so... I don't see too much hope for a season Two of The Wolf Among Us. It's not that it doesn't deserve it, but outside of just making an incredibly similar plotline to Season One, there isn't much they could do for a second Season.

  • They don't have to do another murder case. They can go in any direction they want. There are dozens of characters in fables get they could base a story around. How about the adventures of Jack? There is a lot of his story we didn't see.

That wouldn't be The Wolf Among Us, so it wouldn't be Season Two. But sure, a spin-off with Jack would make sense, especially since he already has a spin-off in Fables. But I'm talking about a Season Two, with Bigby. Anything else wouldn't really be The Wolf Among Us, and Bigby's story can't go much further than what we've already done because of the comics. It's already almost breaking canon because in the first book Bigby says it's the first real murder case that he's done. TWAU breaks that canon a little already.
