Just ride out the storm don't think Mods can do anything but ban the account but there websites to get fake accounts etc no matter what you do find ways around it.

Yes, mods has the ability to ban user accounts. But that does not stop trolls from coming back with new accounts and posting the same crap. I believe and a majority of the community would rather have IP bans now, after latest events. I'm seriously considering of not being here as much, perhaps never again, after the crap I've seen. Also I believe we need moderators who live in different time zones so we have at least 1 mod around all day long, per se. Please Telltale Games, give moderators the ability to IP ban!

Well, when more people log on they will see the Troll threads and know that there is a troll. If we leave it like it's normal he can just wait until the next day and bump all of those threads and even post MORE pictures. I do think that your idea is good though, but I only see it working is once the mods get on we just tell them that there is a troll who is still not banned yet, which would be a good plan too.

The alert threads have the pictures in them. You're talking about warning others on the thread by shoving it in their face.

The troll can make an account in 5 minutes. Whether the mods ban him now or not is fairly inconsequential, if he wants he can be back on tomorrow morning either way.
The best way to stop him from bumping the threads tomorrow is to save the threads he has posted/the trolls actual account, and when a mod makes himself known then direct said mods to the threads/trolls account. Otherwise you are just keeping porn at top of the board. And no one wants that xD (well, the troll might thank you)

I'm really having second thoughts of how much I want to use this site after these attacks. I know the moderators can't be around all the time but that simply means there should be more of them. Especially when you consider the time zone differences. it would be pretty handy if we could IP ban though that's for sure.

That is my worry too. But sometimes we have to live with the consequences for a greater good.
