Favorite primary weapon of the apocalypse.
If you could have a favorite primary weapon in the apocalypse, what would you want?
I'd either have an M4A2 or AK-47 for my primary weapon.
what's yours.

I'd use a melee weapon, and that'd be either Molly's ice pick or Luke's machete.
an AUG,Good choices though
Wow, looks insane, awesome.
Hi dude,Remember my discussion yesterday,I'd pick an M48 tomahawk

Aw hell yeah! That is an awesome weapon!
There on ebay for like,$44 dude
It kinda reminds me of Molly's pick thing
Bow and Arrow
Good choice, but it requires a lot of skill to use against moving targets.
for something different... a boar spear:
Nice
Hunting Crossbow
Thank you whoever is liking my comments,May Kenny's god-like beard have mercy on your soul
F-15E Strike Eagle
Yep
I would use my favorite melee weapon: Nata http://deadliestfiction.wikia.com/wiki/Nata
Look at this guys, lee's status says determinant,http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Lee_Everett
I'm the guy who's liking everybody on this thread.
Ok thanks.
Lightsaber.
"I sense upvotes for this one"
Flanged mace. Not sure how I'd acquire one of those but that'd be my weapon of choice. A bit on the heavy side but it will smash through a skull without fail, unlike a baseball bat or an impact baton. Being a blunt weapon, it's also unlikely to get stuck at inopportune moments.
A katana because they're just too bad ass
A photo and an explanation
Top lad
Katana long one like michonne's and a Metal Bat with spiker's on it
For a primary melee weapon I'd choose the Machete because well one I'd be good for my stature (5'10" 13 year old) Two its fast reliable and better
in close quarters proximity. And 3 you can get them anywhere... In my local Ramsey outdoor they sell machetes that looks just like Luke's For $20. I
one myself.
*I have one myself.
Centerfire guns make to much noise. I'd stick with my 10/22 and try to scavenge a suppressor from a gun store. I only have 500 rounds so I'd probably use it for hunting and that's it.
As for melee weapons, a fighting knife/scratch awl would be effective. I have a razor sharp e-tool, but that has the same pro's/con's as an axe.
Cool.
I'm not enough strong to use melee weapons, so I'll stick with a crossbow. But if melee weapons will be necessary, I'll choose a simple survivalist knife.
The handy dandy Fire Axe always useful in any situation.
I´m just watching The Walking Dead again and I really like Michonne's katana, it looks pretty effective. It doesn´t get stuck easily. But it would take me some time to be good with it (as her) And I would also carry some gun with me and a knife.
The hammer of Thor.... Boom!
AK47 with bayonet
I'd pick a melee weapon as well. While there are times a firearm can be useful, it's often don't worth the risk because of the noise. Something sharp and pointy would be useful, rather than a blunt weapon. Michonne's katana seems like a perfect choice of weapon to me. But even a smaller blade would also do the trick, a machete or a hunting knife perhaps. That said, a crossbow although sounds usefuls, its reloading takes a lot of time so might leave you vulnerable if there are more than one walker around.
I'd probably just stick with a Machete.
Problem is, you need a battle-ready katana, which is very expensive. I also heard that it's very easy to hurt yourself without proper training.
Crowbar.
Good weight, but can mess you up pretty good (Carver)
Blunt weapons are better than pointy ones, as they can't get stuck and a few hits with a crowbar are enough to kill a living human being, let alone a rotten walker skull(but the crowbar even has an additional pointy end).
You can use it as a tool, too. Break down doors, open boxes.
Doesn't need ammo (and if it breaks, way more people own a crowbar than a gun/ammunition for exactly the gun you need ammo for, especially here in Germany).
I can't shoot for shit, and many that can would be shocked how hard it is to hit a moving target as small as a human skull.
A assault rifle or any other rifle is heavy, loud and needs specific ammo. Plus, autofire will get you killed. It's hard enough to hit a moving head, but with the recoil of a assault rifle it would be very hard to get out of a messy situation. Plus, most shots won't hit anyway. Low accuracy even for the best shot. You also can't mow them all down by just shooting in a line from left to right, as they all are different heights.
And, most of all, a crowbar is fucking quiet.
I was thinking about finding it in some house/shop, so no need of money (though it would be hard to find it somewhere, it is not so common weapon ) In ideal situation it would be priceless thing to have -well, but as untrained person I would probably accidentally kill myself with it - what a stupid death
I think I would use my dads Arisaka rifle and my Winchester knife along with an old reliable 9mm
