Wow. I feel like petty. My thoughts, in the order they came,
    1) Thin
    2) Loved (notice the priorities)
    3) Not broke
    4) Able to sleep at night

    Yeah, couldn't think of five.

To try and end less petty note, I'll recommend this:

Unhappy am I because this has happened to me.- Not so, but happy am I, though this has happened to me, because I continue free from pain, neither crushed by the present nor fearing the future. For such a thing as this might have happened to every man; but every man would not have continued free from pain on such an occasion. Why then is that rather a misfortune than this a good fortune? And dost thou in all cases call that a man's misfortune, which is not a deviation from man's nature? And does a thing seem to thee to be a deviation from man's nature, when it is not contrary to the will of man's nature? Well, thou knowest the will of nature...

To people who are wishing for "World's peace, no hunger, no homelessness, no more disease", etc, I have to ask - do you realize that those wishes won't do a lot of good in the long run, without solving two little, meager, tiny, insignificant, completely unnoticeable problems?

THE LACK OF RESOURCES AND LIVING SPACE.

    No more death.
( People continue to grow older, but do not suffer from the ravages of old age.) I don't look forward to getting old and dying. Nor do I look forward to watching my friends and family doing the same.

    No more sickness.
( After seeing a family member waste away from Cancer, as well as having other friends of mine die from that god-awful disease, it is something i could definitely do without.)

    World peace.
( Which would not only include no more war, but also no more global warming, or the destruction of the earth's resources.)

    No more Criminals.
( Murderers, Rapists, Pedophiles, Drug Lords, Drug Dealers, etc. I detest those people with every once of my being.)
They are the ones who have no right to life.

    No more Global hunger.
( I hate seeing on the news, children starving to death in these 3rd world countries.
And also, 1 in every 8th kid in America goes to bed hungry.)

  • Your dreams are pretty, but I'm afraid that 7 billion immortal people won't do anything good to the world...

Mohandas Ghandi, the late spiritual leader of India, once observed: "The earth provides enough for every man's need, but not every man's greed."
And isn't it true that Man has often times deprived his fellow man out of basic necessities, all out of greed?
And yet, so many people blame God for the troubles that befall the world.

There is more than enough for everyone to live, and to thrive.
If people would be willing to follow this basic principle taught by Jesus Christ: "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto to you."- Luke 6:31. Though Jesus spoke those words almost 2000 years ago, they are still just as true today, as they were back then.

Jesus' teachings are so powerful, and so timeless, that Nopoleon Bonaparte of France; was reported to have said: "Jesus Christ has influenced and commanded His subjects without his visible bodily presence."

Your dreams are pretty, but I'm afraid that 7 billion immortal people won't do anything good to the world...

  • There is more than enough for everyone to live, and to thrive. If people would be willing to follow this basic principle taught by Jesus Christ:

Yes, IF they would. But they don't. Not all people are as religious as you. And let's just say that all people are selfish. Let's forget about basical things like food and clothes - humans need a lot of other things. And if they will keep giving born to other humans without dying, in a few years Earth will consist of no less than 12 billion people. 12 GODDAMN PEOPLE. Do you realize how much food will all of them need? If people are dying from hunger in Africa now, what will happen to all the resources if the population of the Earth will be doubled?

Btw, you didn't mention animals. If there will be no death, animals won't die too? Oooh, it will be a very rough time for everyone. If 24 rabbits reproduced into 6 million in a few years, how do you think their population will grow if none of them died? And it's not only about rabbits.

Death is an absolutely normal proccess for every living creature. Yes, people will suffer because of it, but there's nothing we can do it.

I didn't say animals would not die.
I was only speaking about human beings.

And even if their were 12 billion people, I believe the earth could still provide enough for everyone.
Studies have shown that even now, the earth can more than provide for it's population now.
It's man's mismanagement of it's resources that is the problem.
That's a major reason why global hunger exists.

In Africa, many are farmers and alike.
A big problem is is that these guerrilla groups come in, destroy their crops and rob the people of what they stored up, and do God-knows-what to the people.
And it normally stems from greed, which can take many shapes and forms.
And war is often a major way greed shows itself, whether it's between guerrilla groups, or nations.

People would need to stop living a consumeristic lifestyle, and to quit coveting what others have, in order for their to be enough for everyone.
That's why Ghandi stated: "Earth provides enough for every man's need, but not every man's greed."
That's why the Bible states at Exodus 20:17, which was written by the ancient prophet Moses: "Thou shalt not covet... any thing that belongs to thy neighbor."-(King James Version.)

But here's a problem - most of people are too selfish to change their lifestyle. The life is centered about consumerism now, whether you like it or not. When shit hits the fan, there won't be enough kind people that will give everyone else whatever they don't need for their own greed. Rich guys will only become more cruel to poor human beings. When this giant pyramide of greed and consumerism will break, no one will care about anyone else. NO ONE. Even those people who obey the Bible that you quote a lot. Humans will still have greed in their hearts and after they lose most of the resources, they will only try harder to survive. Being a Christian is good, but you need to see the real life. It's naive of you to think that people will agree so easily to live without fulfilling their egoism.

My point merely was, Christ's teachings could in essence, revolutionize the world.
If people would put their damned selfishness aside.
To think of other people ahead of themselves.

Granted there are indeed some who genuinely want to make things better.
Who want our children and grandchildren to have a better world to live in, than what we have now.

I realize that my comments sounded naive.
Making it sound that I expect everyone to change.
    I know they won't.
Nor do I expect them to.
I was merely attempting to point out how much different, and better things would be, if they did.
But as long as the world is predominantly ruled selfish, greedy men, that kind of change will never happen.
