This ^^ I couldn't agree more with this entire post! And to be honest (I hope not to get thrown down the Witching Well for saying this) if this DLC would turn out to be true, it'd be really surprised... I don't think Telltale would do something like that, and I hope they won't, because this DLC kinda doesn't make sense to me... it looks more like a wierd fan idea came true in Sony Vegas. I think they should never change the PC in TWAU, even if it's a DLC episode - but it's just my personal opinion.
I've been lurking on this forum for close to a year. For me, TWAU wasn't just a game. It was art. I'm not just talking about the artwork.… more Everything - the music, the acting, the whole atmosphere that it created - all came together to form an amazing masterpiece. Oh, it had it's flaws, but art isn't necessarily about perfection. Many games seem like they are just a cash grab, but TWAU came off as a labor of love. A ton of time, hard work, and care clearly went into this project.
In light of that, I'm shocked that anyone still has any faith in this hoax. Maybe you're all just too polite to just say what needs to be said.
The 3rd video looked like it was made with the Unreal Engine. Version 1.5.
As for the 4th video.... The only way that it could be real would be if the new CEO at Telltale fired all of the native English speakers. It's not a question of whether or not the words are repetitive. The text contains errors that… [view original content]
In fairness, the fourth video and its cutscenes do make sense. The story is about a wolf walking down a path while another wolf hides - the opening scene we briefly see clearly shows the legs of a wolf moving, seen from under a fence.

When is this in the first video? I never noticed that detail as the screen was too blurry.
I think it's fake. There's no reason to not announce a sixth episode, and if there were one, it'd more than likely be a part of season one or would be in the official talks for a season two. Even though the title screen looks legit, Photoshop and iMovie go a long way. Plus, when you consider how easy it would be to make a video like that, I really have no doubt that it's fake. Sorry to crush the dreams of those who thought it might have been.

Is it really that easy? I am asking a serious question here, that looks like it took a lot of effort to make
Well, the music could have been downloaded from Youtube, or even recorded from the game itself. The title screen could have been photoshopped and placed into a video program (such as iMovie). You can even make a cursor drag along the screen if you really want to and you have the time to do it (I can't imagine who would ever want to sit and do it, though, slide by slide- it would take forever). The opening credits with the name of the director and such could have been video taped or recorded from a previous episode of the game. I'm pretty sure that the last "gameplay" part you see in the video was an image made in photoshop that had various overlays on it, perhaps turned into a gif (or was made with multiple slides in photoshop) to make it look interactive. Also, whoever made the video did not record it clearly enough to be able to tell the difference between it being real or fake... If someone really wanted to prove that it were real, why record it with something that has bad video quality when they have a device that's got quality good enough to play the game in the first place? Again, something like this would take someone who has so much time on their hands it's ridiculous and someone who knows the game like the back of their hand, or at least has played it enough to be able to trick other players. I personally don't see how it could be real since no one else has said anything about finding an episode six and Telltale has never brought it up. I highly doubt they'd forget to mention something like that...

In one of the older videos before he deleted it, the cursor did move on the title screen, and it still moves in the other one. And if it is fake that's rather impressive that he would want to continue with all these fake videos

That makes sense if he went frame by frame with a cursor in an editing program, plus filmed it without clear footage so that it looked like it was moving without fault. I just don't know how someone has the time to put it together, or the thought that people wouldn't notice how no one else, including Telltale, seems to know about a mysterious sixth episode.

I don't know about that... They're pretty strict on what they release and when they do it (which is a good thing). I just think it's weird that it would have taken this long for another episode, if it is real, to just show up out of nowhere, you know? There's too many signs saying it's fake for me to believe it. If Telltale confirmed it, I would believe it.

I agree that this has shown up out of nowhere, but TellTale has a lot on their plate right now, so their production has to be split between TFTB and GOT among other things

There's like...maybe it's another person, or a post or something?
There's definitely a third thing there in the running bit, starting on the left side of the screen.
I just got another PM from him and he said he managed to play and record the first 30 minutes of the episode and he will upload them on his youtube account. After the 30 minute mark the game keeps crashing after you choose certain dialogue options.

The lighting is off on the buildings, I think. Looks like they took a neon-noir night scene from Episode 1, and just put a bunch of snow effects over it. Also, the fonts are still off. I call fake.
EDIT: At 10 seconds, the buildings are moving quicker than the speed that Bigby walks. Also, [Go Left] and [Go Right] is too ambiguous of a choice to make any sense.

It's much easier to get away with botched and/or reused animation sequences, a lack of attention to detail, etc, when you take a low quality camera and shake it around to hide how poor the production qualities on this "leak" actually are.
It's weird that no one from Telltale staff came here to say that his videos are fake. Here is a message the guy who uploaded the videos said a week ago:
"So far Jack's story is the closest I've gotten to working. Snow's almost worked and I haven't had any luck with the others. I have heard music though, Jack's story starts with hearing "Walking on Sunshine" before it crashes."
I wouldn't say that the choice saying left or right would make it fake, what makes me alot more skeptical now is the shot of Bigby running from behind looks really weird

I think it looks like a human running on the street
If you pause at the right moments its clear that there are more than two feet
I'm talking about the fourth video, the opening scene of what may be the 'Big Bad Wolf's' tale. It's right after the text disappears.
I still only see 2 ;-;
I see two feet as well

I'd imagine if you have any video editing skills you could do this, but I dont think its easy

Well if it is real and they do know, I dont think they'd want to be like, " Heeeeeeeey, can we have that back please." :P

I think I see what you mean, I think it looks like a street post, which kinda matches the color of the legs

Why doesn't he upload them now?
Or does he have to make 30 minutes worth of convincing content first? :P
I've only seen him answer people's questions in the youtube comments, I've tried PMing him too and he hasn't responded...
You PM him on YouTube then?
Yup. Like I said he didnt reply, but he does reply to people in the comments sometimes
That tells you something though doesn't it

We have another. This one seems a little weird, but we finally see Bigby in some more detail at least ;o
Well, that looks odd.

I wish the guy would stop using a potato already, its really hard to see some of the details
That font is making me nervous.

Okay this is 100% fake that was just...Stupid.
yeah, i don't even get it o_O ..and WHY does he shake the camera so much?!
Ok now this is definitely fake, Bigby's movements are so wooden and he doesn't have that natural flow to him like he does in the real game.
The snow isn't convincing here, and why do we have a left and right option so soon?!
I do like how we have HD on a poorly recorded video though :P
It's obviously fake. BUT I WANT TO BELIEEEEVE

We all want to believe.
I like this one better.
Trailer
All right... now that I've watched the latest video, I can totally say this is fake. We'all been trolled...
[Go left] [Go right]
Wow... that's such a difficult choice. So sad it's fake.
