I'm AlfMusic and this is my story: I was kidnapped by the Illuminati; they entered my house, took my family and me, covered our eyes and brought us to a secret place. Once they let us see what was around us, I noticed there were people developing Half Life 3, The Wolf Among Us Season 2 and Tales From The Borderlands Episode 2. It was like Paradise in there, but they only let us watch the developing in act, torturing us by not letting us try the games. The more the time passed, the more the desire for trying those games out for ourselves grew stronger. The torture started becoming unstoppable, and we had to find a way out. I remembered that I had a little golden Christian cross in my pockets, so I grabbed it and started waving it in the faces of the Illuminati. As soon as they all fainted, we managed to escape and got safely home. I am now in my room, writing this post to let people know about how awful the Illuminati's torture methods are.

To be honest that kind of things makes me kinda sad sometimes because it makes us (Rhack shippers) look like perverts who just ships Jack and Rhys for the "sex" scenes or whatever. I'm not into this at all xD (i'm not against sex but y'know)

I don't mind if sex happens in a fic, but I REALLY don't like "porn without plot". I'd rather have no sex and a good story than flimsy storytelling existing purely to provide a weak premise for smut. Nothing wrong with smut or PWP, I'm just not a huge fan unless it's really, really well-written. Then again I'm both ace AND an English major, so maybe it's different for people with a strong sex drive and/or who don't care as much about plot, character development, spelling... LOL.
I joke about sex, but I definitely don't think it's required for any ship. I had a ship before, won't say the show, but fandom was so obsessed with the sexual aspects of said ship that everyone thought we were perverts. I ended up completely losing interest in both the ship and the show because of it, so I can see where you're coming from.
