Telltale goes by the Pacific Timezone when updating their own store. As for other stores, those update at different points throughout the day the game is released. Telltale will sometimes release the episode at midnight in their own timezone, but they do not release the episode right at midnight in other people's timezones. The episode is still a good ways off and your timezone is ahead of Telltale, so I wouldn't expect the episode. In Telltale's timezone, it is only 1:22 pm right now.

yup, and funnily enough I am right now playing uncharted 2 on crushing difficulty, I'm in the chapter where you have arrived in shambala and are being attacked by guardians with crossbows and resin bombs, it's fucking hard.

I'm still convinced the stranger is Cassius, for whatever reasons he may have
Fiona mentioning that he has familiar clothes, but she can't place it? Cassius has unique outfit that has similarities to the stranger's outfit.
He'd know about the Gortys project, and more specifically, what the first upgrade looks like since he was there when they retrieved it.
And just because he took Fiona and Rhys hostage doesn't mean that he has malicious plans. If anything, it seems like the Stranger just wants to reassemble Gortys, as well as learn the full tale of what happened. He's expressed numerous times that he doesn't want to kill them, he has a rather mild-mannered persona (save for a short temper, which fits since Cassius can get pretty angry with some of the dialogue choices when you call him out), and his manner of speech overall seems vaguely reminiscent of Cassius'.
He just seems like a reasonable candidate. He knows just enough about Rhys and Fiona, but not the full picture. He's knowledgeable of Gortys, and would know what the first piece looked like (the stranger seemed to know exactly what he was looking for in episode 3), and he has some amount of reason to be interested in both Gortys and the vault, since he is an Atlas employee. It'd also explain why he'd want to hide his indentity. Not just for Rhys and Fiona, but because he's the last Atlas scientist left. Athena might be out of his hair, but there's probably a ton of other people on Pandora/Helios that would want to kill him/use him. And he's apparently lived in isolation in the Dome until our group and Vallory showed up, so his hiding place has pretty much been compromised.

by the way, I just remembered that I'm having leg surgery done on the 20th of this month so I may be a little late to play it. plus I've decided to start from the beginning after reading Telltales' twitter feed here in the waiting thread (don't expect to find me on twitter, though. I'm not a fan of that site). *sigh* I can be a real scardy-cat.
I'm also playing around with the idea of an AMV Hell style fan video for Tales From The Borderlands. there are no set plans yet, but I plan to call it "GMV Hell From The Borderlands" and it's going to be my first fan video. But no promises (I'm lazy).

The LiS finale already released in Australia before anywhere else, I wish the same could be said for Tales... every couple of minutes I'm filtering through youtube search queries to see if anyone residing within the lucky time zone has uploaded a walkthrough early or not.

If you're getting the episode that soon PLEASE do a live stream, I don't know if I can survive waiting another 18 or so hours on my end before the episode finally releases on Steam, I already slept through the wait for LiS Episode 5 but I can't do it again for Tales...

Nope. 12:18 now in germany and still no Episode on PS4. Last episodes (GoT/TFTB) were available at 12:15-12:30. Hope it doesn't take long anymore.
