One of the most memorable games I have ever played and believe me when I say that you must be shocked and sith down because you just got a heart attack. In my OPINION it has one of the best openings ever in gaming ever done by the human being. The cover of the game gave me a ''this is gonna be a boring game with a camera journalist woman'' than I played the game... Buy it!

Never liked this game. Just like Life is Strange, choices don't matter until you choose how you want to end the game unlike Heavy Rain because you CAN'T die. I would hate David Cage if he made a sequel for BTS and not Heavy Rain which was more successful.

I'm sure your radar on "who is praising life is strange" went off and you just had to come and shit on the game. The choices did matter in LIS and I won't explain "how" or "why" because I'm sure you've already read those post by how much you stalk LIS content. I pointed out Beyond Two Souls not getting a sequel because at the end you literally have this cut scene that teases a sequel. I'm not kidding you can easily look this up but then you got David Cage saying that was it. Also, Heavy Rain doesn't need a sequel...it needs to release those damn DLC's it promised us.

I heard that the sequel is going to happen but I'm glad that there'll be no more Max and Chloe, they both sucked. I mean, their romance seemed so forced in this game. We never found out how Max got the rewind power and the only objective of the entire game to erase the tornado was to let Chloe die at the beginning. Like I said above, choices don't matter until you choose how you want to end the game.

First of all let me say that I said I hope they continue the series and develop more original games as we need more in our mainstream gaming world(something TTG still doesn't know how to do yet). The fact that you got two female leads with the various topics discuss becoming this known and successful is a huge achievement. The romance wasn't forced in fact some even said that they didn't realize there was a romance aspect until they actually did another playthrough and actually paid attention. How Max got her power was never relevant and they talk about it in game several times. Realistically a bunch of teens won't all of a sudden find out how one of them can reverse time..though LIS also blurs the line on "realism". You over simplify the game that it is laughable. When we talk about TWD, TWAU, GoT(so far), and Tales. NONE, OF THE CHOICES REALLY IMPACTED THE STORY. You have a shit lot of choices throughout LIS that changed the way you thought about things. Concerning various characters, situations, your moral compass etc. Fuck it...I'm just gonna say that LIS was simply the better game out of everything TTG put out over the past few years. You can hate it but gotta accept it..sorry.

Unlike Life is Strange, even though some choices don't mean anything in TTGs, there would still be there to affect the story. You didn't watch Sacrifice Chloe ending? That ending erased ALL THE CHOICES you made through the game. Did dead determinant characters (Kate, Frank, Pompidou, Jefferson etc.) affect that ending? NO, because you saw them ALIVE. Even the relationship between Max and Warren is still unknown.

This is where I truly know that you didn't truly understand the message trying to be presented when it came up to the ending. I'm not even gonna get into because there have already been numerous topics on it. What makes this annoying to me is how nothing you truly do in any Telltale game changed anything. Not even small dialogue changes and numerous aspects continue on as if nothing happened. Yet, here you are trying to say that nothing mattered while on a TTG forum which is famous for none of your choices really impacted the story or your perception of the story.

Give me an example. What changed what?

Here are two examples with the first being really obvious and the other being more of those smaller details that help with the perception you may have.

    • Saving Kate/Kate Dies changes the tone of the game significantly. Numerous things throughout the game change whether she lives or dies. The small details mean a lot.
    • Another example in that same episode is if you get suspended among others. You'll receive different messages and the interaction you have with Chloe changes to some degree. They remind you of you choices pretty consistently so they stay relevant throughout playing. This is one example out of plenty.

That's the thing I would NOT accept. Better than every TTG? I hope this video by GCN makes you think I'm right about the endings and choices.

LOL..I knew you would post that video and I think it is hilarious as the person who made that video and the one who is featured. They actually really love the game and want another season of LIS. In fact on twitter GCN and Geek Remix acknowledge this was all in fun and really shouldn't even be taken as talking bad on the game. In fact the other Gaming Sins video...I sure the person who made that actually liked LIS as well.

So no I don't agree with your view point on the choices and endings. Also, I didn't say LIS is better than every TTG ever made. I said that it was better than any of TTG recent games that came out. Those games if you don't remember are GoT, TFTB, MC, and TWD: Michonne.

She doesn't mean anything at the end because you still had an option to save her or let her die by the storm.

Yet, here you are trying to say that nothing mattered while on a TTG forum which is famous for none of your choices really impacted the story or your perception of the story.

You forgot that in TFTBL, all the vault team members (Except Athena and August) join the adventure depending on Fiona's previous decisions? You think Asher/Rodrik, Ludd/Gryff, Duncan/Royland/Gwyn and Mira, won't affect Season 2 at all?

Unlike Life is Strange, even though some choices don't mean anything in TTGs, there would still be there to affect the story. You didn't wat

  • I cannot speak for you for how you would like it, but I thought it was fairly enjoyable. It wasn't just about running and claiming territory, but you also had to think strategically, and ordered to outsmart the other families in the game.

You always had to think a couple steps ahead, because if you didn't the other families would start to try and take back your territory, and if you weren't fast enough, they would often times succeed, if you didn't have enough men to defend your spot.

  • I gotta say this is really annoying.

Mostly because this thread is about which games we think needs a sequel. Yet, I post what I think...you then bash it and then I bring up my points. You obviously have your opinion already set and yet we are still going back and forth on this. In a thread that isn't even about LIS but about which games we want sequels of.

Sorry but no more of this for me. I said which games I think needs a sequel/continuation and now I'm moving on.
