It's a shame that I have no idea about those voice actors, I never bother to learn their names except for Johnny Yong Bosch.
The events in s2 ep1 were killing me. Everyone just ignoring him as he's getting arrested. And the interrogation scene was brilliant. Classic lie detector jokes.

I'm loving this one, 2 episodes out. It's funny, charming, cute, each character is definitely unique. It's about monsters girls at a school. Demi's as they're called, one is a vampire, cold girl, dulluhan and a sucubus, except she's a new teacher.
Each of them talks to a biology teacher at this school as he wants to do a paper about Demi's. I've been laughing alot so far. It's very light hearted, nice watch.
In episode 2 the Dulluhan wants people to acknowledge that's she's a Dulluhan, not ignore that fact completely and act if she's human. So she wants to make jokes about herself so people will start openly acknowledging her. And she's wants a hug too! So cute
Then the vampire girl is hilarious. Her "I just found out your secret so I'm plotting something evil face" is amazing.
Blue Exorcist is back! First episode was a good one to start off with! Seeing as quite a bit of season 1 was filler, I can see people gettin… moreg confused. Basically this is continuing straight after Rin's fight with Amaimon, and the orders decision to leave Rin alive and use him as a weapon against Satan and other Devils. Basically continues after Season 1 Episode 17.
Everyone including Shiemi is still finding it hard to take in the Rin is the son of Satan. Suguro (aka Bon) is one who dislikes and distrusts Rin the most out of everyone and blames him for the deaths at his temple and also that of his class mates families deaths too.
This season is the Kyoto saga - this one is the Kyoto Impure King arc

Unfortunately, when I played a dnd campaign with my friend back then, the GM decided to use the plot of Monster as the basic and inspiration of the campaign. And Johan himself being the main antagonist of the campaign. It made for a extremely scary and unpredictable plot (At least for me). It sadly meant that I won't be able to properly enjoy watching it.
How about an Anime that is actually good like Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju?
The title translates to Showa Genroku Era Rakugo and Double Suicide, that more or less should tell you what to expect.
Anyway, it's a drama anime about the medium of Rakugo which is like like a one man play, as in a play in which there is only one actor and he plays every single character but is always on their knees and as a couple of props, normally a fan, anyway I found Rakugo to be an interesting theme but it is a story about friendship, pride, betrayal and a medium struggling to remain relevant as Japan continues to modernize itself, the show is just plain fantastic and I'm super happy that it has been renewed for a new season that is running right now, continuing to be excellent.

Alot of the comments after the video are people pointing this out. and by alot I mean alot, I struggled to find out if many people actually enjoyed it. I loved it, funny as season 1, but the aniimation change is noticable.
Cheaper studio, likely. Hype Train is likely dying down, so viewer base is likely dying down, cost needs to go down to match it.
That being said, the beauty of an animation isn't as important as the quality of animation itself.
What I'm getting at?
Compare say the First Episode of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn vs the first Episode of Hellsing Ultimate, both are OVA series, with good budgets, both have hour long episodes. But the quality in presentation, music, animation, is as different as night and day. I can easily say one's introduction episode blows the other out of the water as if it was holding still, facing down a dozen battleships. While the loser, looks better, beautifully honestly, but.... fails horribly in the animation department, and forgets that it's an animation, not a still image dialogue slide show presentation. God do I hate that. I'd rather an anime look ugly, but at least be animated, than one that looks amazing, but characters do nothing but stand around moving their mouths half the time, some times not even synced. D=
That being said. They're likely cutting back the quality of art, hopefully not the animation. Kill La Kill was like that, wasn't visually the most amazing anime to watch, but the animation, fights and presentation were top notch for a TV show, they kept a style to their corner cutting as well, so when they did cut corners it came out a bit classy.
But then again, cheaper often means poor animation, not exactly how beautiful an anime is. lol

I used to play tabletop roleplaying game with some friends. The DM used the plot of Monster as the campaign story. That's how I learned about the anime and how I cannot properly watch it since I already know the ending.

It doesn't take a week to animate an episode, it'd be impossible to make that much of a change in just a week. Either they had gotten different people to do the first episode or for some reason they just half assed it.

What does everyone think of Higurashi When They Cry? Personally, I love it. It's got a really unique narrative structure and the narrative on its own is always compelling with both its interesting characters, story, and with each time loop adding something new to either the characterization or adding another piece of the puzzle. It's truly an experience unlike anything I've ever had before. If I had any problems with it, I will say the art style is a little fugly and it can feel a little repetitive at times. But other than that, this is one my favorite animes that I've watched recently.
