    sorry double post

  • I find the fan service hilarious. But this current line is great. Too many feels going on and I think it's got some great moments. The powers of Natsu, Gray, Wendy and even Lucy are mental now.

The whole END story is great right now

I stopped reading after the arena arc after the timeskip. I just lost interest and I was really annoyed by the amount of fan service.

Mother of Gaia. The world is going to end. If it's anything like season 2 of Code Geass it's going to be horrible though. Though hopefully, they will take it seriously again. Season 1 was wonderful. But... season 2 they really tried to milk it for everything they had so they threw in just about all the worst kinds of fan service you can think of, without any real attempt of logically molding it into the story either... Let alone almost doubling the cast of characters, so they could have as wide of a range of character types to lure in as many viewers as possible. OMG this anime has my favorite character type I must watch! Geass is one of those examples of a good anime ruined by it's own success. lol

Yano if you don't like it, you don't have to watch it. Also some how I knew you'd respond to this.

I'm just happy to see my Lelouch and CC. Love me some CC

  • Fairy Tail 512 just dropped, DAMN. Is next chapter the reveal? Or will it skip to what the other people are doing, I'm curious to see what Mavis is doing.

The main thing is what Gray is going to do or won't do. I'd imagine they're going to find a way to defeat Zeref without killing him, which at this point is not possible :/

  • Ah, nice filler for a double post!

Bloody HMV charge about £30+ for 12 episodes of a 24 part series. UK shops have such a limited range of anime dvd's. All I ever see is, Attack on Titan, Death Note and Bleach. yes, they're good But more range would be nice

  • it loos really interesting. however i might wait for the dub. but watching it for sure thanks for the dub

A new fantasy is coming soon. CHAIN CHRONICLE http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-feature/2016/11/25-1/feature-whats-in-an-animation-chain-chr

Ah, nice filler for a double post!

  • I love that anime a lot. if they are making another series/ spin off then i am all for it. however i will wait for the dub. engish dub for 2006 anime series in my opinion was really good and i really enjoyed the voices of Suzaku Kururugi (yuri lowenthal) and Lelouch Lamperouge (johnny young bosch).

I am confused how its a sequel however. the way R2 (second series) ended it pretty much finish the series really well. every storyline pretty much got a ending. What they decide to do for the series i am eager to watch when the dub comes out.

  • yea i know a lot of people are in to the sub. but i'm not, the dub for me is a lot easier to understand. yeah i realise some dubs suck because the translate is different to the sub version. but for me its just a lot easier to understand the dub so thats what i normaly watch then the sub

Nah man, it's all about the sub

  • Thanks! It has been in my Plan To Watch list for...quite some time. I'm currently watching Monster so I don't have time lol.

  • Wish what I wanted to buy was the affordable. Gundam Origin is running $95 to $99 per episode..... Sunrise Inc... my god they're madmen.

  • I watched Kimi no Na wa (Your Name) a couple days ago. Jesus Christ, what a fucking good movie! I knew next to nothing about the movie (except for one important bit of information spoiled by a friend by accident and was very surprised with what I got. Also that artstyle is absolutely gorgeous, except for the characters who I honestly thought were kinda plain at least compared to the rest of the movies visuals.

  • I cried. I never cry. Was a fucking gorgeous film. When he saw the crater. Feels hit me like a fucking train.

The settings were brilliant. Amazing animation, I loved the mountain scenes, really good locations. And they've been compared to real place, love that.

  • You've seen one Makoto Shinkai film, you've seen them all almost. They're all gorgeous and with some form of semi depressing heart string pulling story. I still remember when his original short film came out, blew me away as if I took a shotgun to the chest. lol

Definition of an action cartoon done right, regardless whether an anime or not, it is a good example why I love action cartoons. Took the quality of action and fighters above how pretty still frames in the anime looked, and I'd take that 100x over say something like Hellsing Ultimate which looks beautiful but has as much movement as an episode of Bleach. Still images with a bit of mouth movement isn't animation... I was expecting a smut anime when I saw images of it a while back, when I first heard of it, but like Girls und Panzer it proved me wrong.

There was also a wonderful reference to the RX-78-2 Gundam and the Black Tri Stars from Mobile Suit Gundam. Picture will explain, though I dare not post it normally as well it is a semi spoiler... well light spoiler. Springboard (i.imgur.com image)

  • Aw yeah, fuckin' love Kill la Kill! Had to have a friend force me to watch it because of how put off I was of the fan-service. But I'm so glad I did!

  • How have I only just realized

  • Interesting. Same performers likely, on top of possibly the same composer.

I ran into a few of my favorite anime OP/ED which use the same composer not exactly the same performers.

I wasn't surprised when I found out for example that the song Akatsuki no Kuruma from Gundam Seed was written by the same women who also wrote the song for the opening of Sora no Woto, despite the singers/bands were completely different.

How have I only just realized

  • Ye, I know it's the same band and singer - only after the announcement have I gone back to Code Geass and the listened to the ending song and was all "oh shit that's the another opening!" major realisation, life changing moment the more you know

Whether intentionally or unintentionally, there is a knock off RX-78-2 Gundam on that shopping bag. I remember seeing that when I first saw the film on TV. Finally decided to see if I could find a picture of it on the internet. Walla first google search attempt. It was true. It wasn't in my head. Being for copy right reasons, it's very likely, like a lot of "Fake" product placement, ie placing something similar to something in real life but a bit different for the sake of copy right, this may be an intentional attempt to sneak a Gundam reference into a movie. I doubt even the director knew it. lol

  • have to say I sort of expected that; I tried the anime out and I gotta say it's horrible compared to the manga.

which... isn't that rare for anime adaptations lol
