Got 3 hours of sleep last night, spent from 8:45-5:00 either in a car or standing around hearing a lecture at a Viking Age Church in Ryesdale. Came back, had to run out for an hour and just now got my paper draft to my professor. Christ, it's only 8 PM, how is the day still going?

I had a similar day, woke up at 6, drank a 2 litre bottle of ginger beer at around 9am, which was about 350% of my daily sugar intake, came home at 12:30, fixed the suspension on my car, went to bed, woke up at 11pm, watched anchorman and talledaga nights, listened to some music, played minecraft. Slept at about 6. Woke up at 9, drove for 4 hours to see a friend, hung out and just got back.

I saw Stonesour at the Soundwave Festival about a week ago. I remember them sounding okay, but thinking that the vocalist/frontman was an utter douchebag. I later found out that the frontman was Corey Taylor from Slipknot, and now everything comes together.

I saw them last summer with Avenged Sevenfold (+ Mike Portnoy) and Disturbed. The latter two bands were great, but Stonesour just annoyed me. Now I know part of why.

Stonesour and Slipknot have another thing in common: both bands have exactly two songs that I like. :p

So a friend of a friend of my dad wrote a book that's coming out this month. It's a crime novel called The Bastard Hand. That link is a trailer, if you don't mind me posting it. My dad did the music for it.

I think I may read it. I've never tried stories like that before, gotta start somewhere.
None have ever sounded interesting before.

Stonesour, judging from my brief encounter with them, don't sound too bad, musically; the guys can play their instruments. But they are pretty flat and unoriginal sounding.

Avenged Sevenfold, I quite like, actually. They're at least a tiny bit innovative, and know how to write music. For some reason I haven't been blown away by any of their studio recordings, though; I've been much more impressed by the live performances I've watched on YouTube. They were actually meant to be playing at this festival as well, but pulled out, unfortunately. Not that it's too much of a problem; if they were to have played, it probably would have attracted a lot more teenage twats to the festival - Bullet for My Valentine certainly did.

I think I actually have to find a Copy of Persona for PS1 because I don't have a PSP, and the one playthrough type thing I've found on youtube at all appears to be both Incomplete and Only gameplay. Barely any of the story or anything.

I seem to have the uncanny ability of ending threads. Most threads I reply on usually get no replies after I say something. Take that japan earthquake everyone is like OMGEARTHQUAKEIHOPEYOUROKDIVISIONTEN. Then I say something along the lines of "how much radiation leaked out during the nuclear power plant explosion" and everyones like SILENCE.

    Is all you see.
  • edited March 2011
Well, George, you managed to generate an hour of silence with that post. Considering that this is the longest thread in the forums, the only one even close to, much less over, 10,000 posts, a thread that hasn't had a day without being posted in since it was started almost 10 months ago, I think that's as close as you could've gotten to killing this one too. Congratulations.

I won't be on much for a while. Followings sony's advice to fix a minor bug in my blu-ray software on my laptop has resulted in my computer no longer booting (from what I gather, It no longer has windows on it ¬_¬ And the recovery discs don't work properly). Lesson learnt: Ignore all advice customer support gives you.

Lol, I do lots of stuff in my spare time, a lot of it involves actually going outside, although I do enjoy computing as one of my main hobbies

I really doubt that. It sounds to me as if you've never used photo shop before in your life or even looked at a vector image:rolleyes:.

But, please, do share paint's extraordinary features with us. :)
