If it happens in show, we shouldn't take it granted for the books because the series are so different from the original content now (ex: Benjen is Coldhand in show while simply missing in books).
I would love Cleganebowl to come true in both mediums though.
I also never watched the show but I know what is this.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cleganebowl means a fight between Sandor and Gregor on Cersei's trial. And book fans are also waiting for it.
D&D tryna distract us from the inevitable. Cmon man we see through the smoke and mirrors. CleganeBowl can't be stopped! Just like Cersei and Jaimes love... It can't be stopped.
What is Hype may never die, but rise, hypper and stronger.
In the books trial by combat isn't possible too as I remember.
Trial by Seven might be the argument she will use. Seeing how it is related to the Faith, High Septon and co might not be able to refuse her demands. That could also be the rumor Cersei is talking to (atlhouth it can be absolutely something else) since Trial by Seven is old tradition. That's what I would plead if I were her lawyer anyway.
If true it means 12 fighters more than expected = more hype
I'd love Cleganebowl but seeing the FrankenGregor tear apart, say, Lancel for example would be also pretty great Wouldn't be much tension o… moren that fight though....Same goes for Gendry btw, except seeing him get tore apart wouldn't really be enjoyable, it would be Oberyn all over again. With the difference that Gendry wouldn't even stand a chance.

I'm glad I wasn't hyped for this.
...fucking Tommen.
It was always one of the more tinfoil theories really, If they do end up fighting it wont be in some official trial.
;(
I wanted to like Tommen. I gave him so many chances. Now I can't wait to see him go...
Well to be fair, Gendry could probably tear apart anyone with his hella ripped arms.
