I would legit stop watching this show if they don't do CleganeBowl and replace it with Loras vs The Mountain
We need the Frankenstein-esque theme to shine through. That's the whole point in CleganeBowl. 2 people die fighting in someone's name, all in vain (more the mountain than the hound) and when they are given that second opportunity, they have to prove that they learned from that past even. While the mountain went right back (against his own will I'll acknowledge) to fighting for the same people in the same way. While the hound has apparently made a 180 on his path of destruction after the Brienne fight.
I don't care about Loras Lannister and his road to redemption. I care about my Frankenstein brothers, finally duking it out for old times sake.
The best way to end the fight would be to have either LF or the sand snakes show up on their way to kings landing, just for the sea to freeze over.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they'll do it, because they have seriously been hyping up Cersei's trial by combat. But the funny (and a bit frustrating) thing is that there will be people who'll say it's fan service and claim that GRRM would/will never do it, so they'll call it stupid fan fiction or whatever. (I've seen few instances of people complaining about Benjen's return because of these reasons). And if they don't do the Cleganebowl, it'll also piss off tons of people, so they are really in a situation where many will be pissed off anyway. Though, I guess not doing it would piss off more people than doing it.

Yeah completely mixed up the names. It's Lancel right? You know what I mean.
It's been a rough week
And idk there's nothing wrong with fan service when it makes sense. Like we already had a preview of CleganeBowl season one, and there's a huge chance it will play out in the same type of manner.
Loras Tyrell, will have to fight the Mountain but will be interceded, or in someway the Hound will be presented as his champion. Then commence hype.
Loras Lannister?

Oh, Lancel I thought you were indeed talking about Loras but just messed up the last name
And I'm definitely on board with Cleganebowl! I agree, it makes sense and is the perfect conclusion for the grudge between the Clegane bros - even if both of them have changed. Plus it's just too hype not to happen
Yeah completely mixed up the names. It's Lancel right? You know what I mean.

What I'm wondering is how will the Hound end up to King's Landing from where he is now? What will drive him to go there? Who will get the idea of using him as the Faith's champion? Assuming that's what is going to happen.
There is always the wild card that is Littlefinger... Who can change any plot because he has his connections. Wouldn't feel right imo but we don't have much time.
My money is on the fact that Jaime will probably inevitably switch sides and not serve Cersei anymore. I don't see him defeating the blackfish especially when there are more important things at hand. The way it'll play out is Brienne will probably end up saving Sandor from all the brotherhood soldiers he decides to take on (probably no Thoros appearance) and they will ride together to river run. I can see Jaime being convinced that he has went down the wrong path (honor wise) and he can't let cersei continue on this path of manipulation and destruction anymore. He probably won't agree with the Hound wanting to fight his brother, cause of his love for Cersei, but he won't stop them either. As soon as it is revealed that Loras will have to face the Mountain, Jaime will be all for it.
But maybe Sansa is the one to convince Sandor. I mean they had a pretty complicated relationship before and I'd love to see her be the strong one to give him advice now, just like how he did before he left kings landing.
I don't know what Jaimes gonna feel when he knows that CleganeBowl is coming... But it will all fall into place

The actor is confirmed in it. Sandor will go on full revenge as it seems. Maybe he will then encounters travellers/prisonners aware of the trial by combat coming. Then he would just have to convince High Sparrow to take him.
As for the siege of Riverrun, it already happened in book, so I won't spoil you. But Brienne isn't here in books so I think I know how it will happen..
Contrary to Book Jaime, Show Jaime still love deeply his sister; if you watch the preview he mentions it aswell.

I think that will end to Cersei going full crazy. I mean, even if Jaime says stuff like "we're the only ones who matter", I don't think he'll be happy with Cersei burning KL to ashes - which is exactly what he stopped the Mad King from doing, sacrificing his honor for it.

I dunno mate; in the preview he says: "I love Cersei, if I have to slaughter evey Tully whoever live to get back to her, that's what I will do." He still seems comitted to her to a high point.

and that mention of love, I really hope it's them trying to make us feel he won't side with Brienne, just for the contrary to happen. But now that I talked about the above idea, I think that'd be a much better final straw for Him.

It's the Frankenstein effect. They are both seen as monsters who have mostly lived their lives killing other people in someone else's name. I could see that more the hound wants to kill whatever his brother has become, more than he'd want revenge.
Plot twist: they will probably both die... Kinda like Oberyn would've did if it weren't for the maester.

Talk about the mad queen... Mother
Okay now they have to come up with a realistic reason to have The Hound go to Kings landing to fight for the faith militant. Good luck there.
Yep.

Margaery just can't keep the hype a secret anymore.
I came to check the forums for Cleganebowl.
