I just don't think Violetine works, I find it to be more of a romance cliche: Violet mysterious doesn't want to talk, but then magical Clementine comes and she immediately wants to talk and is happy etc. I mean that is the single thing that makes people deluded to think there's "something, feeling that there is something, chemistry etc". But when you really look at it, you realize that Violet's pessimistic("who do you think's gonna die first?" and in general her attitude) personality and Clementine's optimistic personality are in full contrast.
Personally I don't particularly like her, she's just boring to me, always brooding and depressed, and first impressions matter a lot, what's the first thing she did? She gave me a nasty attitude. I don't forgive that easily. But for the most part, the forum loves her, where did you get the animosity from?

She plays the though b***h at first, and after you prove yourself at the fight in the courtyard she quickly apologize in her own way. If you are nice to her she always has a cute little smile, it just pulls my heartstrings. She is kinda depressed and I can understand why she push people away. When she stepped in the episode end is where my eyes became heart shaped as I didn't expeced her to step up. So I just want to hug her sensless

There's more to her than meets the eye. This was more obvious with her than it was with Marlon and Brody. That doesn't make her better than them, but that's 1 of my reasons. Another reason is she's very reticent, and doesn't talk much but when she does, it's like

I like both characters. But when it comes to a romance for Clem, Violet wins IMO. She's as strong as Clem, and I love when you appeal to her you can say "I know you aren't weak!" She's a bit reluctant, but then eventually sees the light and is about ready to chop Marlon up with that Cleaver. On the other hand louis is cool, but he seems weak. Yes, he also steps in for Clem. But compared to Violet, he was more reluctant. He says "I don't wanna get involved" even though Marlon is his best friend. Personally I think because he is friends with Marlon, It should be easier for him to get involved than violet. But he's way more reluctant than violet. He was obviously scared of Marlon more than violet was. This is why I like Clem and Violet more together. She needs someone just like her, and violet just fits that.
