Heard the news?

Majus and Suro of Wonder What Happens fame have joined the Telltale Crew! We flew them in and moved desks around just so we could giggle every time they spoke in those RIDICULOUS accents.

Congratulations you crazy kids! (Interns are the coolest, in case you didn't know.)

Couldn't think of a more deserving duo. :D

I've never heard of them but congrats nonetheless! :D

Ask them to say "television", that's one of my favorites.
  • edited February 2010
-It was a rousing battle, Captain.
-Aye, and it reminds me of a song...

-We're a band of vicious pirates
    -A sailin' out to sea!
-When ye hear our gentle singin'
-Ye'll be sure to turn and flee!

... A Pirate I Was Meant To Be! Trim The Sails and Roam The Sea!

congrats guys, I love yur videos.

My favourite is asking them to count to 10 really fast... around the 6/7/8 mark it sounds like they say "sexy banana". :p

Yeah ... as much as I love Majus and Suro I don't really want to hear them talk about their "sexy bananas" ... great band name, though.

Y'know what this reminds me of? Valve hiring Adam Foster (Of Minerva: Metastasis fame). That was an awesome move as well.

Kudos guys, I'm sure you'll fit right in.

I hope you guys will have fun! Oh, and try pressurizing Telltale to open up a European branch, then I'd have a chance of working there maybe. :P

    WOW.

There is no amount of congratulations I can express towards this. :D

    But anyway, congratulations!
  • edited February 2010
    Congrats. Kind of jealous, actually.
  • edited February 2010
The lack of tigers and lions in this thread is disturbing.

But now that I am lured in here with false promises anyway, congrats to Majus and Suro!
  • edited February 2010
Isn't Majus a tiger according to the Chinese zodiac since he was born in 1986? As for lions ... Suro has a lot of hair, a leonine amount. There, lions and tigers solved!
  • edited February 2010
When I read the lions and tigers things, I immediately thought of this song, although I'm having trouble making the connection between that and Majusuro (who is a two-headed superhero, as we all know - those photos where they're depicted as two distinct beings are clearly Photoshopped).

Or maybe that is one of their superpowers: to look like two different beings!
  • edited February 2010
Oh yes, I forgot about Majusuro's built-in Personality Splitter! Man, I wish I were a superhero...

They're superheroes, right. Then where's their spandex, huh?

    Spandex are overrated. Like capes.

Well, duh... they're not in their superhero clothes! If they wore spandex wherever they went, everyone would go "Hey look, it's a superhero! Can we have an autograph? Can we can we can we?" Then they'd have no more time whatsoever for the actual superhero business.
  • edited February 2010
Oh, okay. Then what are their special powers? Teach me, O Wise One!
  • edited February 2010
Everything. From eating spaghetti to speaking German and English, it's all special powers. But their most special power is creating Flash animations.

    Really?

    Opps...
  • edited February 2010
Don't you use QWERTY instead of AZERTY now, though?

Which would mean the Y is on the exact same place? (but yes, the Z ain't).

Or is that some hidden pointer to how mad QWERTY keyboards make you? :p

    Suro smash!

Why don't you switch the Keyboard Layout in the operating system?

What's more disturbing than Y/Z imho is the changed position of the special characters, at least if you use them a lot like in programming.

No, AZERTY is French. For some reason, the Germans switch out the Y and Z, but then, they've always been a bit strange...

Here's a handy list of keyboard layouts, by the way: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout
