I can see it, so that's kind of strange ... and would you and avistew mind if people printed your cards out and actually used them as valentine's day cards? They look big enough to print well.
It was caught by the spam filter. I approved it, so it's now visible to everyone.
I didn't notice that too until i read your post, because it is really hard to notice if you don't explicitly look for it.

O.K., thanks. I'll have to keep an eye open for that in the future. I'm glad one of us is observant
(Yes, all of these sentences can relate to games. Yes, they can conceivably refer to something else as well.)
And if you want to print it, I can save a bigger version. Since it's vectors, I can really make it any size you want. I reduced it enough to be posted on the forums but if you want it to be bigger, no problem.
However since it doesn't have a border, I now realise it would be kinda hard to cut at the right place >.>
By the way: so many awesome cards
This context is great
Junaid ... turning imageshak into looooooveshak. And Dinghiskahn gets extra points for the perfect antacid TTG candy. Your card makes me want to cover a closed-sides file folder with glue and red glitter and stickers, man. It's beautiful.
Please don't stone me to death for asking stupid questions (I blame my lack of knowledge to my sheltered upbringing in a country far, far away), but what exactly are valentine cards?

The main weapon in the greeting card companies' arsenals, the Valentine's Day Card is the single easiest way to express emotion by having some random writer speak for you. Like the holiday itself, it serves a triple purpose: It creates a designated day for people to be romantically spontaneous (lol), it's a week of free money for candy, jewelry and card companies, and it has the added benefit of barraging single folk with reminders of what they *really* could do without being reminded of. It's the classic three-prong business tactic: Love, money, and forced depression. Best part is, it's close proximity to Christmas ensures that people are as depressed as possible.
Not that I have anything against V-Day, mind you. Such a pleasant holiday.

Valentine Day is the 14th of February, and it's a "love holiday". Just like any cards given during a holiday, Valentine cards are cards with the holiday's theme, in this case love.
You sent them to people you love to tell them you love them

Well the card thing, as far as I know is a North American thing. I've never heard of sending cards for Valentine's Day in France.
Then again, I've never sent or received a Christmas card in France either. The only ones I have ever sent or received were birthday cards.
Here, I made a more printer-friendly version of the first one. Added a border so you know where to cut (it seemed it would wast less ink than a background) and I didn't put any guides for folding but it's in the middle both way so that should be ok, right?

This reminds me of 500 Days of Summer (a terribly depressing movie). In the movie, there's a guy named Tom who makes holiday cards for a living. Here's a quote:
"We are liars. Think about it. Why do people buy cards? It's not because they want to say how they feel. People buy cards because they can't say they feel or are afraid to. And we provide the service that let's them off the hook. You know what? I say to hell with it. Let's level with America. Or at least let them speak for themselves. Right? People should be able to say how they feel - how they really feel - not, you know, some words that some strangers put in their mouths."

I EXPECT it, in fact. If I don't see an entry posted here by Thursday, you're grounded.
Ok. I'll participate by default in everything unless I recieve a flag which says "No".
Thank You!
A weekly contest is a good motivation for making Telltale artwork!
I guess THAT the idea...
This thread jumped the shark so early. Now I'm not sure if I should engineer up some art after all.

Dude, I posted an entry; yours will be good enough I'm sure.
Full size: LINK
I also added full sized links (1600x1200) for my previous entries!
Do eeet Now [/Arnie quote]! Though in all seriousness do something, or I'll own you at TF2 again kidding.
Indeed. (I've been awake far longer than what's considered normal, so my brain is on strike.)
Wow. You win. Contest over.
Oh, I get this card now! (I was so confused!)
@LordBritish Yes, it was a compliment. Now start mass-producing them for retail. Now!!
I happen to love pixel art.
Maybe I can submit something myself, hmmmm...
Do it or I'll feed you to the jungle beast!
I'll do one, too, if an idea hits me.
I'm assuming the deadline is the 14th, right? :P
:d
Deadline is the 11th, so we can award and pass around BEFORE the 14th.

!! Oh man!
'And the winner of the million dollar prize is...
me!'
Yeah, it took me a while too.

Print out. Fold top to bottom. Fold door over doorway on front side.
