Refined my last card a little bit, just to keep up with everyone else. Too many funny and talented people around! *shakes fists*

KK, I'm doing this just for fun really, too many awesome entries to even try to compete :)

Dude, this is excellent and I think you're a psychic. :0 I was JUST talking about something like this with a friend today.

[13:30] PecanBlu: If someone were in the area they should make and send Telltale a chocolate statue of Sam & Max or something
[13:30] PecanBlu: even if it were crappy it would instantly win I mean come on man it's a chocolate statue!!
[13:30] KawaiiOtacon: someone should send a stripper of some sort or just a sexy dancer in general who pops out of a cake
    [13:30] PecanBlu: ajsanf
[13:31] PecanBlu: a chick dressed like Guybrush
[13:31] PecanBlu: oh actually she could just be a bunny like Max
[13:31] PecanBlu: but with huge fake fangs and threatens you SEXILY
    [13:32] KawaiiOtacon: YEP
    [13:32] KawaiiOtacon: see
[13:32] KawaiiOtacon: it needs to be done
[13:32] PecanBlu: if I lived in California I would send them one
[13:32] PecanBlu: but I bet custom strippers cost a lot
[13:34] KawaiiOtacon: not if it's someone you know
[13:35] KawaiiOtacon: send them some internet person that wouldn't mind

    WELL, WHO'S DOING IT?

It's close to midnight in San Rafael right now, right? I'm almost done with my entry but I need to know if I can still submit it? *panics* (see, it's 9am here right now and I'm a teensy bit confused)

edit²: wrong version uploaded. Damn, I'm in such a mess right now.
edit³: okay NOW it's the right one.

Of all the times for me to have a dry spell for clever card making... ><

But I must say, excellent job everyone! :) I enjoyed looking through the entries and got a good laugh from nearly all of them. Bravo! :D

Great job everyone! Love your works! Good luck and may the best pixel-pusher or brusher-smudger win!

Congratulation to everyone. Junaid was by far the best, and does indeed deserve something special for the great work.
  • edited February 2010
The winners definitely did a great job, and I'd like to offer a round of applause for everybody. I hope these art contests become a regular thing :)

Neat! Congrats Junaid and DinghisKhan, and I hope you get something really special for your trouble, Junaid ^_^. I loved your cards (my favourite is the LeChuck one).

I'd also like to thank Telltale for that context because it made me want to draw more, and as a result I'm working on a comic (based on Trial and Execution) and having a lot of fun with it.
(Don't expect anything for a long long time, though, I'm still very slow >.>).

Still, I'll give you a sneak peak of one of the most dramatic moments!

Oh, what shall ever happen? (Background subject to a lot of change as I haven't even started drawing it yet).

Irishmile! Quickly! Make a propaganda poster for the Mac vote thingie!

hehe, again thanks! The cards were really fun to make. I did the sketches on a wacom cintiq at work, digital sketching couldn't be any faster than that :).

Anyway, thanks for the prize :) Don't know who I'll give the free episode to, since I already have them all. Curious about the special prize though :D

I suggest you give it to the non-winner whose card(s) you preferred?
  • edited February 2010
Hey awesome! This contest was a lot of fun, great entries by everyone, especially Avistew and Junaid.

A free episode is like gold in my hands, it'll be put to immediate use.

So I'm curious... did anyone actually used one of the cards :D?
  • edited February 2010
Well, someone left your Peepers card on Jake Rodkin's desk, :)

How would you know? I thought you were exiled to Sausalito last week. (Weird, Sausalito isn't in the automatic dictionary. You guys should fix that or something. You know, since you're not busy or nothing right now.)
  • edited February 2010
Everytime somebody here says "Sausalito" I think they are near of my place. Like, the next city...

House boats only ever make me think of Paris. That's the only place where I've ever seen house boats (or been in one).

They also make me think about sea-sickness, so I'll try and think about something else now >.>
  • edited February 2010
How do you get sea sick on a house boat? They barely move.

I'm in the office today, despite the holiday. We never rest here in videogameland. Also I was in the office Thursday and Macworld on Friday. So I've been not-dead for a few days now.

I have been known to get motion sickness in an elevator. And even walking at times.
On the flipside, I have a very good balance. My husband on the other hand doesn't get any kind of motion sickness, but his inner ear is so damaged that he'll never be able to learn to ride a bike, among other things. He also trips on air sometimes.

:( I love the gently rocking motion of a boat or train; I fall asleep so much easier then.
