Yeah me neither but still. Dont go there.
Also I know this contradicts the last thing I said about spy checking, but dont spy check your teamates spys when they are acting stealthy, chances are they are your teamates and you just blew there cover. Happens to me a lot.
Oh and to what jeeno said about the teamates issue, considering I was shot by her while we were on the same team last saturday, I am thankful for no teamkill.
That was my first time combining stealth and heavy gameplay too.
It seems like Valve is really half assing the new updates. Everyone I know begs to differ but seriously? No downside for the new saw? The bear hands not being applied properly? Get real, Valve. You're making too much money for these kinds of amateurish mistakes.

I like the new saw, I dont see why straight upgrades matter, remember the average medic doesnt use the original saw anyway, so it technicaly is fine for me. I used the vitasaw before that and and having trouble remembering the the whole uber issue.
Because Valve established that they wanted to give OPTIONS. You should have meaningful choices between weapons.
Like so many other things established early at launch, they're disregarding everything they set themselves too.
If you're gonna give an upgrade, why not just patch it into the class? Otherwise you're putting other players at a disadvantage because they can't afford the new item, or they don't play enough.
Cant afford, hah I have gotten all of the weps but the heavy and loch n load(and who wants that weapon anyway) and as for not play enough, I got the backscratcher(4 times might I add) and the amputator withing the first few hours of playtime when they both respectivly were added to the drop system.
You remember the early gunboats? Some people went ages without getting them. Same with Crit-a-cola. This is like that. Some people get lucky; other's don't.
It's dumb to fix a class by giving him an upgrade; did they add a syringe gun with +2hp regen? No, they gave the medic a buff, and then made the blutsauger revert that.
Besides, there's no point to making a weapon just so it can be an upgrade. That's simply stupid. It'd be nice if every weapon even attempted to be balanced, so we could have a facade that Valve are actually putting effort into TF2 updates.

The problem of the Advantage of the Amputator is simple because it had a downside by itself. You are uncappable to move for a second. And, by experience, if you don't choose the moment carefully, you have a 100% chance of get killed. If you want a meanful result I mean. At the end, I finish healing in medieval mode with the crossbow. In fact, I remember the moments I didn't get killed using the Amputator's Taunt. 3 times. Out of, I think seven.
Ok, the original Bone Saw doesn't have an effect while taunting and still you can't move for a second, but, with the Amputator and/or the Crossbow you WILL have the obligation of play team, you will have the obligation of use the healing effects once in a while and you will have your teamates running to you begging for healing. In other words, with the bone saw you can be battle medic (Fight and have all the advantages of been a medic without having to take care of the rest) and no one will complain, while if you are with the Amputator, you are medic again, no matter how dangerous for you is healing in medieval mode. And this is a team based shooter. What the team think of you matters.
Side Note: I'm probably the only one which use the Amputator in Badwater Basin. And I'm so proud I didn't get killed.

Ah, so you got lucky drops. Me, I play medic more than any other class, but I still don't have either of the new medic weapons. Nor do I have spare a spare huntsman or vita-saw to craft into the new medic weapons. Sure, I could turn an uber-saw into a vita-saw with one of my reclaimed metal, but that just inflates the already ridiculous costs of the amputator, and there's no quick and easy way to craft a huntsman.
Now I've gotten other drops, and the backscratcher is really useful in Medieval Mode. However, the two weapons I want the most, I don't have yet. That's with idling each week until I max out on drops. (Trading is a pain because both people wanting to trade have to be online at the same time, and not a lot of my friends list still plays.)
Also spycheck everyone. There is no teamkill so shooting your teamate will only reveal spys.
Which I hate that fact. I miss in TFC when you disguised even yout teammates saw you as Blue Scout and they could kill you a long with the other team. It made spy a much more harder class.

I love the fact. You know how many times I would have died because some idiot wants to spy check me 10 times in a row. WHILE I AM USING MY WEAPON OR TAUNTING!
I remember hearing that playing with friendly fire on is a truly scary experience.
It's strange, but if you turn on Friendly Fire in TF2, some weapons still don't hit your teammates.
While I can understand one of them (the flamethrowers), the choice to make the Huntsman not affect allies while still allowing the Sniper Rifle to headshot them is... odd.
I used that new suicide melee on a heavy, he saw me and fired staight at me, but I hit him before that which rocketed me up way into the air, followed by me demospamming like an idiot in the air for an amazing kill. Then my health was 4 so I ran away for I was in the enemy area(point C in gravelpit. I was attacking) and i found an enemy sniper creating trouble so I used the sticky bomb for a nice suicide bombing.
Good round good round.
Also I have 2 reclaimed, and would like to know, which new heavy weapon is the best in your opinion?

Assuming you mean other than the Fists of Steel (which only require one Reclaimed + KGB), the Brass Beast.

Oh yeah Fists of steal. I actually had 2 of them. Both through festive winter crates(and a hat) I traded away both for the materials for the demo melee and the medic crossbow.
I could get that one and then use the extra reclaimed and save up.
The beta update doubles every classes health. The Heavy can have 900HP now whilst overcharged.
Wut? Does that make it's impossible for a sniper to one-shot a heavy?
EDIT: Yes, yes it does. It makes it very tough for a sniper to get quick kills. Well, for anyone but spies to get quick kills, actually. This beta experiment is especially tough on pyros and snipers.
Some weapons become really useless; they should've done a few quick changes. Maybe double the effects on weapons? Blut could heal +6hp a hit, Black Box 30, Backburner deals +30 damage etc.
Comments
It's a number of different sources that I assembled together and logically tied in a bow and summed up.
....paint sale?
Wow I still aint buying.
What item?
Hats are cool.
Here are some hints:
1) Shoot people.
2) Don't get shot.
Dont go on the SPUF they say the game will eventually go to the point where you have to pay for bullets.
I go on every once and a while but still DONT GO THERE!
Also spycheck everyone. There is no teamkill so shooting your teamate will only reveal spys.
Which is just as well, because all I ever seem to do is shoot my team mates.
What's a SPUF? I can't think of what it could stand for...
Yeah me neither but still. Dont go there.

Considering I can use the new ability the half of the times and not get kill, thanks godness it has not downside.

GRU and 2 scrap actually.
Oh whoops... even better, though, since a Reclaimed can be converted to 3 scrap.
