The shot is from episode 2 (but not made on my PC because it is crap) but yeah it's our favourite G-man. this wallpaper actually scares the crap out of some people and keeps me awake.
It also makes a lot more sense to keep the taskbar at one of the sides now that every monitor is in widescreen format. Unfortunately I'm so used to having it at the bottom edge that I can't bring myself to changing it...

I dunno, I like to have it on a longer edge. Especially when I'm doing sprite work, I tend to have a large number of windows open, and while I do like having all of my common tasks grouped together, I like having enough room on the taskbar that they don't collapse together.
It's funny, I was going to mention earlier how you never see anyone do that, even though we have the option.
I thought it was strange that I never saw anyone on here post a screen with it on the left.
I actually didn't change it until Windows 7 allowed Icons instead of the full description of running programs. In Vista and earlier, I hated having the vertical taskbar because it made it to hard to figure out which programs were running. Now, I am enjoying increased vertical real-estate on my monitor
Incidentally, I moved my top panel to the bottom, and my bottom panel first to the right, then to the left because the right wasn't as practical, and it's in auto-hide. I'm about to take a screenshot to show you guys.
You open up all those tabs and then post in every one of them? Well that's one way of getting 3,000 posts.
I open all the thread that have new posts (although lately, less so, I'm only clicking on some of them because there were too many and I'm not feeling up to catching up).
Then when I'm done reading a thread I either close it or post a reply. This way I don't have to go back every time. Seems more practical to me.
I open up each of the main threads in new tabs and open new tabs for all the unread threads in each of them. my record is about 50 tabs
I kinda do that except too many tabs drive me crazy, so I open the main ones, then the threads in the first main one, and when I'm through them the threads in the second main one, etc.

RocketDock.
No, they're not; earlier in the thread I explained why they're like that.
I hand made it... From a banner I found after an hour of searching Telltale's .css
not on the shot: my rocket-dock sidebar with all important programs.
Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman.

I just subscribe to all the threads I reply to and then open them all, in tabs, to the last page and go through them. Seems the easiest way.

That's nice that you don't get PMS about threads.
...wait, what?
