I don't get it. It's the Fountain of Youth team, but you're not animating for their main game, just for the half-teasering "festive minigame"?
I'm working for Screen 7 full time. Even my own personal game is being developed under them. So if they ever need my help with animating FoY, I'm readily available. I'm working on other large projects under them full time, though.
Really, I just posted about the game because I managed to finish something I'm proud of, and I wanted to share that. Considering I ruined my chance at working on A Tale of Two Kingdoms, was on the Picaroon team and ruined every thing I ever did there, and ruined more than one other projects in the past due to my poor responsibility, this reflects a change in me that I'm extremely proud of.
Quiet, or I'll tell everyone that you only ever received one infraction. If that doesn't kill your reputation, nothing will.
/edit: I just recognized that I can't infract admins or fellow moderators. Damn, that takes all the fun out of it. I should be able to give Mike an infraction for this:
But Alan "Party Pooper" Johnson gave me an infraction once, too! It was for disrespect or some fascist bullshit like that.
"Poor responsibility" meaning you didn't finish the job?
Poor responsibility meaning I barely even did the job.
And what does "full time" mean - these are still non-for-profit / unpaid projects, right??
Actually, I'm working on one commercial project. My own project is freeware, as is FoY, and there will probably be more commercial projects in the future from them too.

All right, good luck!! And keep us updated. I'll get to your Indy soon - I actually already downloaded it.
That's twice now that my laptop screen has momentarily gone black when I've put my 3DS next to it. Granted, it does that just before the screensaver goes on, and the screensaver goes on after 15 minutes of idling, but still. OMG MY 3DS IS TRYING TO KILL MY LAPTOP.
Wait, you use a standalone DVD player and it's not because you own DVDs from other regions?
No. I haven't been watching DVDs much, but yes, my standalone DVD player used to be the only way to watch DVDs on my TV, before I got my Xbox. Keep in mind that this is an extremely recent acquisition. But even with that considered, I've done pretty much all of my DVD viewing on my computer for a while.
I'm seriously, seriously tempted by these, but I'm a fuckawful musician and I can't read sheet music so it would be kind of pointless except to annoy my flatmate.
Oh, I want one of those so bad. I like my Songbird ocarina okay, but it can't play the note equivalent to top C (preventing me from playing half of the Ocarina songs from the games, including the Song of Storms), and the STL ones look amazing.
The best thing about the STL ones is that they have videos of people playing all the various Zelda tunes on them, so it is possible to recreate the OoT tunes on them. Well, as long as you can actually play them that is...
ETA: Oh wait, that channel only has a few of the OoT tunes. Damn.
I'm pretty decent with an ocarina despite not knowing any of the fingerings. I just make up my own songs on it. But they're all too expensive for me so I have to make do with playing them in the shop.

You could always learn to read sheet music - even just write the notes in underneath if speed is a problem? I never got over the fuckawful musician part myself though.
Why do so many people think the world owes them something? Especially on the internet. Everyone is such a lippy smartass. Try talking like that in person, you'll have a nice meth-mouth grin in no time.
And... never thought I'd say it... but Telltale, put another banner on the forum. Since all the promotions ended, there's not even a pixel of separation between the forum links and the site navigation...in fact the site navigation click area overlaps the forum links now. I keep clicking into games instead of back. It's annoying me :P

I think I'm actually way more lippy in person than online, mostly because so much tone is lost in text that I fear my good-natured ribbing will come across as outright mean.

Ohhh, so it's not just me! Thought I was just massively uncoordinated, or too frequently plastered (both of those things are still true, but it's nice to have another excuse). I'll raise it with the Telltale folks, although apparently there's a whole forum/site overhaul coming sometime soonerish.
I was blaming liquor until yesterday. Been sober for a few days because of work, AV stuff, and learning my new camcorder. Realised it wasn't *me* yesterday...now it's starting to be an annoyance. I'm all for an overhaul.
I saw your earlier post about the camcorder - are you making films, or is it just for general life stuff?
I've recently gone a bit nuts for night sky timelapse photography. Had a go when I was back in Australia (impossible to do it in the city) and my first attempt was... adequate. I would love to get to this level (<-- HD is a must if you watch that).

That is really nice. I might dive into film. I know enough about shots and angles. My transitioning needs work(but the same could be said of 80% of hollywood these days). I've only really done image(odd/crazy stuff...not like photoshop models and scenery) and video editing. I've recently begun incorporating animation and such into video editing and have got better at camera effects. I might. I've had enough dreams in my life dashed not to call it a dream...but a hopeful aspiration? Could be.
The first steps would be a small creative endeavour and photography. Read, learn and do. I believe I have the intelligence, creativity and determination to give it a decent attempt... now to see if I can apply it.

Hey, if we're talking an amateur free-time endeavour, who's to stop you? It's all about the learning experience.
I love how much can be done in a simple short like last year's Tropfest entries Missing Her and Things To Do (the latter produced an emotional response in me that was extraordinarily impressive for something under 7 minutes long).
Harvie Krumpet won the Oscar for Best Short Film (Animated) in 2003 and was pretty much done by one guy (probably helps if you can get Geoffrey Rush to narrate your film, but whatever). And then there are extremely stripped-back feature length films like Festen (all handheld camera and environmental lighting)... the whole idea of Dogme is pretty interesting actually.
Anyway, I for one would really like to see your stuff if/when you produce something you'd care to share.
The Great Telltale Google+ Chat had a very drunk me presenting a very drunk argument on the need for a revolution in the United States. Needless to say, we must do this again very soon.

Ooh me too! And here's me thinking I'm the only one who is that uncoordinated with a mouse!
Anyway, off to see the estate agents about a flat today, looks promising especially when this whole situation is taken under account.
I can't escape the word cancer anywhere signs on buses TV books movies. I can't take it anymore I just want to escape for a little while! Real life is just getting worse.
I had it in my coat pocket, it fell out while I was zipping my coat up.
Yeah, that's why I have mine somewhere safe. Shit's expensive to import, especially if they're birthday gifts (which mine was, that, and Songbird Ocarinas don't often ship outside the US, so my bro had to buy it through eBay).

FIXED.

Actually fixed!
But if you insist, I could try that "fix" again.
Um ... OK
Or it's just a coincidence. *shrug*

Back of phone breaks
don't discover it until next day
Get LoZ Ocarina as a gift same day.
Break that in three pieces 2 days later.
I kinda hate myself right now

work work work
On an unrelated note, which of you roody-poos introduced me to electroswing?
I'm playing it now. Looks great!

Yeah, or rather, there was supposed to be one in the works. Status as of now: unknown.
DOES IT MAKE MY SIGNATURE LOOK FAT???
