So, I was thinking about purchasing a television series on iTunes. However, the odds of me actually doing that became slim the moment I read the series had DRM.
I want to be able to see those series on my PS3 dammit!
Oh well, back to the other-method-of-seeing-my-favorite-cartoons.
EDIT: By the way, European, and too broke for subscription services, so no Netflix or whatever there exists.
I could never get into Halo. Always thought it was as bland as a toast sandwich.
The first game I felt was pretty fun. At least when it came out since there really wasn't much of anything like it, I seem to remember. And the first one is pretty funny, but that may be because of the humor I injected into it with the mini-game "Whack-A-Grunt".
From what I hear, the later games started taking themselves too seriously and were thus less fun.
There are things that happen in Halo that I've never experienced in other games, so that's one basis for why I think it's pretty good. The sci fi story was interesting too, with the Covenant's obsession with the Halos as religious relics
Gitaroo man is one of my favourite games, but man its tough!
I forgot how exactly tough it could get.
Still, I haven't failed yet. Managed to get to the last three levels.
My least favourite song is coming up though, so I may just fail...
Going to save that one for tomorrow, since its fairly late and my ability is increasingly diminished the later in the day it is.
(I struggle to play games for more than an hour in the evening. I just tire easily)
It helps that I listen to the soundtrack alot. I can actually anticipate what's coming up without having to play a level several times like I had to before.
The PSP version has irritating load times though. I know that once its on the stick, those load times are reduced dramatically.
I remember playing multiplayer with a friend who was playing on the disc, and I had to wait aaages for his PSP to load up the level before we could co-op/compete.
If it is accepted that QTE games suck by and large, why then have I not heard people hating on Heavy Rain? (keeping in mind that I have not played it)
Because Heavy Rain has a great story which your actions in the QTE shape. So the QTE isnt just a you fail try again till you get it right if you fail it changes the story. It also has a great soundtrack, intresting characters and a story you can lose your self in.
I feel bad. My guuuuuurlfriend really likes the Ring, so I watched it with her, but I just kept losing my shit/cracking up at every single thing. I tried so hard not to, but I could not help myself. It had a lot of cool ideas, and overall it was enjoyable, but every time I saw a playdoh face or such I just kept losing it. She did enjoy my riffing, though. And she thought it was cute how I thought The Ring would make a good title for a romantic comedy. Yaaay, I can make this place my personal diary now, right?
Hee hee hee. The best part was how I kept thinking it looked like a Gore Verbinski movie and THEN IT WAS.

I already know and can hardly wait. The Dreamcast was my favourite console. Apparently, 'Shenmue HD' is coming out soon... sweet! I can't wait to find me some sailors!

My dude and I watched Big together last night, and we spent most of the time making all the obvious jokes about, well, paedophilia and statutory rape. Good team riffing, best way to watch a movie.
If there is a Shenmue HD I hope they use the original Japanese dialogue with subtitles. I don't like the dubed version Ryo's voice is annoying.
I played the original 'Shenmue' with the English dub and the sequel with subtitles. I don't think that the original game was released with subtitles in the West? I can't see Sega re-releasing the game in a format which it wasn't originally available in.
Ohh. They should do an episode with Dino Force where she meets Tommy! I know the actress is dead but this is Power Rangers it exists by taking stock footage and making there own story.
By the way, I eventually came to the conclusion that Zordon at some point had sex with a human woman.
But...how!?..
See he is not in his tube and no body! So...how does he have sex!?

Well the second one should definitely be subbed! That gay guy Yuan's English voice that they got a woman to voice was rly rly annoying! And the character was obvious it was a bloke!
Indeed. It's the best. I have two friends of mine, one a gaming nerd and comics nerd, and one an internet-film-anime-gaming nerd, and me the snarky one, and we all riff movies in the theater together. It's the best time ever.
House is Sherlock Holmes IN A HOSPITAL! Which brings the recycling full circle, since the Sherlock Holmes character was real-life diagnostician Joseph Bell AS A DETECTIVE!
I beat Journey a second time today, and got all the glyphs so I could get myself the white robe that distinguishes you as a traveler for a second or third journey.
On my third Journey, I entered the light with a companion, who I assisted throughout our travel, helping him find all the glyphs and signs, and helping him summit the ultimate, final conclusion.
I walked into the light alongside a constant companion. It was one of the most moving experiences I've ever had in a game (art), because I gave up sleep to help another human being on their Journey.
Not sure if you're being serious, but the floating head Zordon is just a projection. He's actually inside the tube, with a full body.
That screen shot was after the wizard freed him from the tube in turbo. He may have had a stock footage body but since then its clear hes just a head. Maybe an effect from the dimension tube.
See he is not in his tube and no body! So...how does he have sex!?
I don't know! But I get the feeling that this is a projection of Zordon, and he's still stuck in his containment tube.
It's really the only thing I could think of as to how a characters ancestors could have possibly created the BullZord, which Is supposedly the oldest Zord.
Power Rangers: The Movie, had Zordon in some container.
But it was broken and he died (or was dying.. can't remember. Haven't watched the film in a while).
I think Zordon has some kind of power that allows him to travel through certain tech.
He has a sort of essence outside of his body, that can be stored in a tube.
I think in the second movie, he was captured or something, on a jungle planet.
(Or was that the series...)
*Phew* Man, was Power Rangers complicated when it came to Zordon! XD
(EDIT: As to whether he could do the dirty or not, I don't think he can, at least not at the time of the series, since I think it was hinted at that his body was wrecked after confronting Rita, due to some sort of Dimension warp thing Rita did)

Ill. I've been watching the place some, but haven't felt up to posting. Nothing knocks you on your ass quite like a stomach bug.
*le sigh*
A first person videogame where you play as a barman.
The sort of guy who sees into so many people's private lives, but has to hold back on the interaction due to professionalism.
Again, its one of those games that are mostly just talking, but it would be an interesting experience.
I'm kind of interested to see where they take Halo 4.

I'm looking forward to your game, and seibert's much ballyhooed game.

I'm guessing they're taking it to an alien planet or something. But that's just me stating the obvious.

I'm so sorry. Would you like some counseling?
That would be Mystic Force.

Some questions in life were never meant to be answered... thankfully.

Ooh, nice screenshot from Prometheus.
Problem, Davies?
Oh, you.
