I do wonder what Telltale will showcase.

All I want out of this year's E3 is news on Thief 4, Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Pikmin 3. None of which are on that list, of course.

Although I'm really excited at the prospect of more info on Epic Mickey.

Yes! BG&E2, of course, back in production after that hiatus. I really can't wait until the release of that game, I've been desperately wanting a sequel ever since I completed the first 'Beyond Good & Evil'. It's one of my favourite games of all time, I really must replay it sometime soon.

WHAT? i just checked the tv and nothing. please tell me I didnt miss it.
  • edited June 2010
Ohhh I am thankful I just checked xbox.com
It turned out I was on the wrong channel, G4 doesnt have microsoft, just every other company.

Engadget has a link to the live stream in their liveblog story. I'm watching it now.
  • edited June 2010
Anyone watching the live feeds? Youtube is doing one. So far what MS have show of Kinect(natal) seems either pointless (being far quicker with a controller), or already done (Webcams? Apple seemed to think webchats were new too....)
  • edited June 2010
I'm watching this on TV. So far, I've determined the XBOX360 will eventually become sentient and try to take over the world.
  • edited June 2010
Wow just wow. Kinect(natal) looked realy awesome.
Im not going to buy kinectamals, but it really showed what kinect can do and is so easy, even a little girl can use it.
Also does anybody know tomarow who goes first, Sony or Nintendo I wont be at a tv at all during 11:30-1:00 and dont wont to miss ANY of nintendo's E3 and hope sony goes first, or does anybody know where I can watch Nintendo's full meeting after it has aired.
  • edited June 2010
^ Nintendo is going first I believe at 9AM PDT, with Sony following at 12PM PDT. Gamespot usually upload the entire thing after it's aired, so you can download or stream it there probably.

Overall the entire thing was very disappointing for me. Metal Gear Solid Rising looked very good, but other than that, nothing amazing. I'd get excited over Fable, but the last time I did that, I got an whole lot of disappointment from Fable 2.

The idea behind Kinect is interesting, but motion sensors and voice recognition just isn't good enough with current technology. Not to mention, I never saw anything wrong with using controllers, personally, they do the job fine.

So if I miss anything tomarow, just go to gamespot.com and it will all be there?

Should be, yeah. Might have to wait a bit for it to be uploaded, but it will be there eventually.

Ugh, that press conference was unbearable. I'll just let the press pick out the details for me next time so I don't have to sit through half an hour of inane, forced garbage.

Yeah, that. I was annoyed by the PR guys screaming and jumping and going "WOO!" over things in a way that was so obviously rehearsed and forced. They weren't acting like real people, they were acting like the people you find in picture frames and on product boxes, but generally those people have the decency to not talk about their far-too-great excitement. I was just annoyed by that.
    Zonino wrote: »

...and that. Oh god, that was insanely annoying. I guess if you like children and fuzzy animals though things would be different from your perspective :P

I would just say i would be cheering too if I heard I was getting a free xbox slim(I believe at the end he said the audience got them for free.
  • edited June 2010
Yeah, but you could easily see a lot of the conversations were scripted. Especially when they were showing off video calling on the Kinect. It was annoying how fake and scripted it was.
  • edited June 2010
I remember one part where one of the guys began announcing this racing game or had finished showing it off or something, and paused midway for applause, and there were crickets chirping (basically) in the place it was so quiet. And I just burst out laughing.

I mean by the people at Microsoft demoing the hardware. They were likely not even really using the hardware at all, just acting stupid in front of a video of a successful test run done in the Natal labs. Acting stupid in a way that had of course been scripted and rehearsed. This was especially obvious in the video chat and track & field demonstrations.

Well at least Cliffy B and Molyneux brought a bit of charisma to the whole thing, even if I didn't care for the games they showed

Im sure youd be happy if you saw that last part, they complained about what happened with kniect
They said if you missed it just watch nintendo 2008 because it was the same.
    Pets, sports, karts, etc...
And they made fun of Skittles who i feel will rise above mario:D

(reposted from the BTTF E3 Thread)

    http://www.gamerlive.tv/article/e3-2010-telltale-games-develop-episodic-jurassic-park-and-back-future-games
Telltale will release more information on both game series at a later date. Neither game will be shown at E3 2010, according to a company rep.

One thing I do miss immensely with the reduced TTG Staff presence on the forums is people (like Emily used to do) coming in and just answering these sorts of queries directly, rather than someone finding them out 2nd hand via 3rd party websites and reposting here.

Wow the lovely camera crew at G4 screwed up and showed the guy sitting around watching for about a minute. Lovely.

I don't really bother with the press conferences anymore, more often than not they're just really boring.

Speaking of which, maybe Valve will actually say something about the L4D1 campaign we were supposed to get last month.

Or, you know, just acknowledge that L4D1 exists. :(
