You know, even if you don't play the game the day/night it comes out it'll still be fun when you do play it. Telltale's games have an infinite freshness date, just like Twinkies!
Very true Lena, it's just that I was looking forward to playing this so much. Oh well. Off the the computer doctors, I suppose.
My F5 button is so worn out, I'm gonna need a new keyboard soon.
You do realise that this won't actually make the game come out any faster?
In fact, by flooding Telltale's website with page requests, you are basically draining server resources which they could be trying to use to upload the game...
They have to wait for everyone to be on the office so they can help everyone with the bugs and all that.
And it's definitely not an hour and a half left, it's two hours and a half, if the marketing guys don't delay it.
Someone might have already asked this, and sorry if they did (I skipped over most of the posts to ask this, but does anyone know what time the game's being released in central time? It's about 8:30 AM over here, so HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WAIT?

I think they have to be in the office to upload the game as well. It has little to do with technical support, since they've previously done releases at the end of the day, right before they all go home.
This guy. Yeah, maybe they are still searching for any bugs that they might have missed so they can deliver the best game possible.
Hmm, he looks to me like a bounder and a cad, certainly wouldn't believe anything he says!
But seriously, he's only a lowly web developer (see on the Team page he's listed right at the bottom, barely above the two interns, in fact there is one intern listed above him!) - I doubt they tell him anything.
... Apologies to Sean, I'm only a lowly web developer myself, nobody should believe anything I say either

I'm like a walking typing advertisement
The same thing happened in ours, too. Very bizarre. I swear I had nothing to do with it.

What accidents?

jake posted here! he closed down my thead and poll
I just watched a bit of Zeitgeist review video for the episode. Big mistake, it spoiled a character I had no idea would be there.

Just a thought

you do know you can just push the refresh button while on the site
But I'm finding it really hard to actually get on with anything!
Time for more coffee
the game is not uploaded and there is no switch
oops moment:i didn't read the whole thing
I find that very hard to believe.
What possible reason could they have for waiting, if the game is packaged and ready to go?
The suspense is wonderful. It will make the game so much sweeter when it comes.

its coming at 11:00 EST so an hour and about twenty minutes

You're in America ... and the game is being released in America ... and you're confused about time zones?
Thank God you don't live in Europe!
Jake said in the other thread probably 10-14 hours from his post, so it could be anywhere between 11-3 Eastern (8-12 Pacific).
I wouldn't expect it first thing.
Interesting, who said this?
It could just be that the reviewers copy is up there and the final version is yet to be uploaded.
Or that the version up there could be the final release, but there might yet be last-minute fixes and changes that require it to be re-uploaded.
I suppose it doesn't matter whatever; the crucial thing is we don't have the game yet
Hey Telltale? What is one of 3M Corporations most profitable inventions?
POST IT
