OK, he was great in "Come Dine With Me", but that's because he was the only one actively trying to be nice.... Come on, Moffat, get Colin out of there and into the show!
Actually, RTD just did an interview which basically amounted to it's more a matter of when he's ready to write it - he said something like as soon as next year or as far away from ten years from now are still possible. Meanwhile, John Barrowman maintains he's willing to drop everything to return to Who/Torchwood if asked.
Jack needs to come back. He was definitely underused in the first season. I'd love to see him become a full companion again. Plus maybe we'll learn what happened to him during the two years of his life that were wiped. Seeing as Moffat was the one who wrote that episode, he probably has/had a plan for him, just like river song.
But... But... I've still got 8 audios of Series 4 to relisten to!
Quoth the raven, Nevermore.
I know the feeling! I, *finally*, after months and months of catching up to get to this point, was prepared to start listeing to the best recieved audio (and possibly Doctor Who story) ever, A Death in the Family, tomorrow! grumble grumble I'm sure the cover art of the individual discs will be nice at least
Also the Cybermen have been hugely redesigned for Neil Gaiman's "The Last Cyberman":
Yeah. And the lack of the cybus logo whilst retaining the central circle seems to boost the connection. Just add some blue LEDS, and you've got yourself an Army of Iron men.
I like the costumes though, but they look a little too much like rubber rather than metal. I liked that about the cybusmen. They looked metal. Before HD anyway...

This is what happens when Tony Stark doesn't keep a short leash on his tech.
Also, I recently bought "Patient Zero" in the hopes of understanding who/what the Dalek Time controller is for its role in
To the Death and Dark eyes
But ended up more confused as it seemed to be part two of a trilogy which extends from the main range 8 audios I have yet to here. D'oh!
My next movement onward once I'm finished with the Ace/Hex stuff (which also included Evelyn/Sally/Aristedes because they all tie together) will likely be finishing off the Charley and Eight audios - the main reason I'm looking forward to them is the last run of stories with Six and Charley, as Brotherhood of the Daleks sounds really interesting (Communist Daleks!) and Paper Cuts has the Draconians (whom I adore)
But, yes, I do know that they tie together in a pretty large way and won't be doing any jumping ahead because of that.
Likely to only be of interest to Friar, Dark Eyes will be available tomorrow!
No, I've got this on preorder as well. Unfortunately, what with all the other things I've got to listen to, it's going to be some time before I can get round to it! ("Voyage to Venus" was quite fun, though. AND IT ONLY COST A POUND!)
Assimilation^2 continues to be a source of much laughter
It's got to be good for something, I suppose... I mean, I could stomach the price of comics (and when you consider that when I were a lad, you got a comic strip, a short story, an unrelated back-up strip, a funny, and a letters page, for thirty-odd pence), I could give a pass to the artwork, but NOTHING BLOODY HAPPENS! And when, finally, in the most recent issue, something does occur, it's the most terribly fanficcy thing you can think of!
I recently bought the compilation volume of Assimilation^2 in digital format for around six quid, which I thought wasn't too shabby. Until I read it. I think it's a huge missed opportunity that The Tardis crew don't instantly recognise the enterprise crew. And the plot is far too slow paced. It would be alright if it was all released at once as a graphic novel, but in the monthly format you guys are getting, it just down right sucks!

Doctor: What? What?!
Scott: Oh boy.

I want to see him meet River Song.
I agree. Would be fun to see them together.
I just hope that's a photo taking from a new TV series featuring the eighth doctor, and not a promo image for Dark Eyes.
I really like the costume. I can't wait for Dark eyes to come out.
Also, Neil Gaiman is writing a spoiler episode.
You forgot the alternative cover, that would be the cover if it didn't need to be pressed last week, according to the powers-that-be!

I was going to say they looked like Iron Man.

Maybe he was upgraded? Maybe that's the plot of the next Avengers film, The Avengers Assimilate?

Well, the next Iron Man film is going to deal with the Extremis virus... which he uses to fuse man and machine...
Oh no. Tony Stark created the Cybermen.

Well, if he travels back in time to before he had them killed, they might recognise him!
"It is I, Soldeed!"
Also, prepare your wallets, as BF have announced a recently recorded musical Companion Chronicle.
And the trailer for The Snowmen itself.

(Anybody think there may be an official announcement in 3 days' time?)
It could be exciting if he's coming back to play the alternate universe Doctor who's gone completely batshit insane evil.
But that won't happen...
Stop posting the same six broken images.
